Possible spoiler! I've heard a rumor that according to the leaks, Zavala is going to die im the last season of the Witch Queen, or in Lightfall. I thought IT as a bunch od BS, but now that we have this foreshadowing, I'm... worried.
I feel like it would make sense to kill him of in lightfall because more then likely all of the witness followers are going to attack the city because of the empress said in the vox obsura "Your city besieged" and with that leak you talked about were have to probably go somewhere else but zavala would try to buy us time leading to his death
If cayde himself was alive he would most defiently have either the nightmare of Andal Brask , or of his past life before being an exo ( which for reference I like to call Cayde 0) because he chronicles all of his past lifes from Cayde One through 6 to be a better person in his next life , obviously a life he never learned from ( whom was really shitty guy , with slight moral compass thanks to his family) might terrify him because no matter his exterior, Cayde always wanted to do things right even if he had done them in not the right way.
As most of the nightmares are things one remembers from the guardian life , which thinking properly even my Cayde 0 theory is incorrect if we base on that
