Grid habit trackers have always felt more like a reminder of all the days I didn't do things, than a positive reinforcement to actually do the thing. Seeing the way yours work has opened up a whole new world to me. Thank you!
So I loved bullet journaling when I switched to a discbound notebook. I could use canva or word or excel to make spreads I liked print and punch them and I got the pretty bujo vibe with very little effort. Not as ~aesthetic to carry around as the lechthurm but wayyyy easier to use. You might enjoy also!
Your channel is underrated and you give so much value to this world. Your creativity is so impressive and I feel very good looking at your videos. Thanks!
I’ve always thought of myself as “mathematically challenged,” so my workaround has been to divide my weekly spread page into eight (not seven)sections… last one could be used for Notes or Future or whatever I want (like writing out a long division problem!) 😅
CHILL these videos on such functional bullet journaling might finally be the thing that drags me in and away from my dated planners (with those dreaded blank week holes all throughout) Also, your explanation/idea of free pages just lit the brightest lightbulb in my mind. Like yes. That is exactly what I was missing in the system
This is absolutely genius! I've never even thought about asking AI this type of stuff! Although, as you have clrealy proven, AI is not always a flawless fit for your needs... But def. worth a try!
I like how ChatGPT really hammers home the basic setup of the OG bujo. Taking some pointers from this vidoe. I’ve simplified my bujo practice considerably since beginning this practice. CHILL :)
CHILL video!;) So many people take the abstinence approach to AI but I'm glad that you overcame that resistance! Your video shows such a creative (and accessible) way to integrate technology and art! Great job
CHILL ❄ I see what you mean about this being approachable without being exposed to the artsy/beautiful/professional- looking spreads that can be overwhelming to see. For a lot of folks, it can put undue pressure on them, and it feels like "if mine doesn't look like this, I'm failing and I suck and I should just give up." For me, the issue is more about getting distracted honestly. If I see someone do a cool little flip-book thing within a journal page, or drawing a flower and then cutting out the page on one side along the edge of the flower so then the next page is partially obscured by the flower but part of the page is visible....... guess who just turned this into a craft project instead of a Journaling session. Or much worse: guess who's waiting until later, when they have the time or energy or exacto knives or washi tape or whatever, instead of just sitting down and writing in their journal. I love being extra with my journal. Sometimes. But that's not the point, and if I'm looking for a simple spread and someone shows me a craft project instead, take a wild guess what I'm gonna do instead 🤷♀️
For habit tracking with check boxes, instead of colouring them in and having to count them why not use incremental numbers to track as you go. Also, to save on time why not buy graph paper and cut out your grid or print off a stack of monthly/weekly grids ready to stuck in?
CHILL So glad I found your channel since I’ve been in a bujo slump and just overall in life, so your simple, minimalist spreads remind me to take one step at a time ❤
Actually I tried the whole artistic bujo thing, but unlike other people I could not relax making for the love of god, then I tried digitally which was also not my thing, I tired plan google calender and tasks and yeah. Didn't ork, since I switched back to really minimalistic and onlyblack pen . I'm working on it, but it feels different.😊
CHILL! I just got back from a long biznizz trip in the US and Canada and *everywhere* I went they were selling stickers and I bought so many stickers, and did think of you. Did you also realize that American tourist traps will sell you postcards but not one person knows where you can buy a stamp? So I have a bunch of postcards from Portland and Seattle that I will be hand delivering because the postal service hasn't heard about nostalgia and owning things and can't get it's sh*t together. Sigh. Love your videos!
Finally after getting intimidated by the aesthetic pinteresty bujos and colourful picaso spreads, I FOUND YOU! Thanks for this great kickstart on my BUJO journey! CHILL FAM supremacy!

Omgersh.. CHILL!! ❤ Love the new simple layout ! I want all the stickers 😁
So much thought has been put in this vid. Really nice to see you improve in every vid you post. Keep up the hard work!
Instead of 7 equal rows, I do eight equal rows and use the the eighth row for general notes or as a space to add decorative fun stuff.
