I have lived in Thailand for 14 years and I agree with your observation that it is the Buddhism that permeates society here and makes it such a more hospitable culture. Additionally, when I am in smaller towns in Thailand I feel like I am back in the US circa 1970, when community still existed and people knew their neighbors. I will never go back to the US, execpt to visit my family. Thailand is my home for the rest of my life.
@@kentgoeking3745 Thailand is considering one of the best spiritual center and maybe the "only one" in the modern time. Many Thais realized that science and technologies have not yet catching up with the Lord Buddha teaching about the secret of the universal and natural occurances.
We in America are very sick, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I am grateful to have been in Thailand twice this past year. What a breath of fresh air.

Don't tell anybody...it's our secret. I'm from East Oakland. I'm 49 living in Phuket. Brotha....I love THAILAND too. I say it to myself every day and I thank God that I can be here.
I am Thai, but studied in US and visited US almost every year in the past decade, except Covid time. I am confident to say that 30 years ago, living in US was much better than in Thailand. But now, and probably the last 10 years or so, living in Thailand is far far far far far better than in US. Not even close. Thailand is much safer, friendlier, happier, more fun, more relax, much better service and food, and much more value for money. Only reason to be back in US is to study in top universities there.
Khun, Can you stop these low level Americans flooding Thailand? They will bring their disease and guns, violence, nasty culture to destroy Thailand. Thailand should make visa only for US population who can show $50,000 in bank for visa. This will prevent the bottom of barrel trash coming to bhumi. I am Thai-Indian and my family was a brahmin advisor under your king since last 100 years. Asia is rising and will be an ideal place to live next 30-50 years.
Came to Thailand in 2008 to try it for a year. Went back to America 🇺🇸 in 2009. Couldn't wait to get back to Thailand! Bought a condo in Thailand in 2010. Been in Thailand ever since. Now moving to my partner's village to build a new house. Life in Thailand 🇹🇭 is good.
I always enjoy your videos great job! As a U.S. citizen l find our best days are behind us, l grew up in the 70's and 80's and now l find Thailand to be similar to this era. Immigration has divided us and sports use to be something to bring us together but now divides us. Traveling Thailand has been a blessing as l have never felt hostility or anger, unlike in America you put your life in danger for honking your horn. I feel love and harmony in Thailand, the United States has lost its love for humanity and becomes more divided by the day. I ❤ Thailand and its people and there's no coming back. The United States is a great place to make money but Thailand 🇹🇭 is a great place to make a life.
COME back HOME to THAILAND BROTHER! The last time I was in the states, I had to stay there for about 3 months. I was so stressed from the misery of the people and the negative interactions with people compared to what I experience daily in THAILAND.
I appreciate your positive attitude regaring the Buddhism and Thais. You have a good fair heart and understand Thailand very well. Sure, there are a lot of bad points in Thailand, our politicians, bad politic parties, so many corruptions. It's very strange to me that those who were not born in Thailand but love and appreciate the country a lot more than those grown up in Thailand. We have good parts and dark parts but over all, hope the better parts are a lot more.❤ I love this video so much. THANKS that you spent time to review and make us understand two different Continental Countries, USA and Thailand.
Why you don't ask those Thai's that have been living in the west for a long time, some up to 50 years or more. Ask them, they may be able to provide you with insights into the good and and not so good points about the West. I, myself, am Laotian who has been living here in the U.S for more than 40 years. I am aware that Thailand is not Laos, but I believe I am familiar and have some knowledge concerning the cultural practices and ways of thinking of both Thai and Laotian people. My recommendation is to ask those Thai's who have lived abroad for a long time. They will be able to provide the best source of information for your country. They have first hand experiences. Please seek their insights
Every country has its bright and challenging sides, and Thailand is no exception. Yet, as you said, the good parts truly shine through and make it a place that’s easy to love. Glad you enjoyed the video and that it helped bring some understanding to the differences and similarities between the U.S. and Thailand. It’s a pleasure to share what makes both places unique. Thank you again for your thoughtful comment. ❤️
@@imfine-ok1536 Thanks for your great opinions, hope you are still missing your country and Lao is on the East side of Thailand. But what good opinions would you get from people living here for a long time. We want the update present infos.
@@vanvilaikat3396 I apologize. I thought you were a Thai person who lives in Thailand. I see most Thais and Laotians as people who came from the same root. And that is why I like watching videos about Thailand. One of the pictures that I get from reading comments about Thailand from many Thai people in Thailand is that many are not happy with the ways things are in Thailand. And many want to move to the West. I guess I cannot fault them because they do not have first hand experience living in cultures, places, or countries that are very different from them. A lot of times, it takes direct experience to really get a better picture of a place or culture. I also think that, most people don't really ask relevant questions about anything, in this case about his or her own culture and coutry. And If one wants to move to another country, ask why and many other important questions. I think Buddhism is the best thing that has happed to Thailand. The biggest weakness that I see with Thai and Lao societies is there is a habit of not utilizing critical thinking. This habit permeats all levels of society and has been our character since the beggin of time. I think if we can change this, a society like Thailand would be close to the highest point that a society could be. I think we are nice, but need to be accompanied by wisdom ( panna ). This is only my view based on assumptions and reasoning. I could be wrong.
There are no words for how grateful I am to be living in THAILAND! Someone in my family asked me to send pictures today and I sent them a picture of my grocery bill for today which was $7.50 and the cost to fill up my scooter for the week $4.44. I told them that's all you need to see.
Thank you for the video. I am so touched. There should be no division in this world. Everyone is a fellow human being. Only compassion and love can heal people's hearts.
Yes I know what you mean. In Thailand there's more of a sense of community and people have a willingness to help each other. America is so big and divided.

The only thing that will permanently fix things is when we start looking within our selves as individuals and when we realize that our consciousness is one with all. #innerengineering #spiritstrength
Absolutely! Real change begins when we look within and work on aligning our actions with a deeper understanding of our shared humanity. True unity comes from realizing that we’re all interconnected-#InnerEngineering and strengthening our spirit can go a long way in fostering compassion and collective growth.
It takes 1000+ years to create something like Thailand, 200 years to create USA and its already crumbling. Thailand has managed to combine modern western architecture with its incredible spiritual & cultural past. It may sound easy but its quite impossible without effecting cost of living & inflation. India, China, Japan all big guns of Asia have tried to mix modernity with spirituality and all have failed as if you tinker it too much INFLATION creeps higher and eats your society up. In two decade travelling and living in Thailand, the inflation has not creeped up in Thailand, the bhat bus still cost 10 , condo less than 250 dollars, food 50 bhat, VAT is unbelievably still 7% pretty much as it was when I first visited back in 2002. Thailand has stood the test of time, even being the first country in Asia to legalize marijuana, USA not so much nor India, China, Japan, INFLATION is the Demon which eats up society if you tinker modernity with spirituality too much. Does anyone seriously think US could live past 1000+ years like Thailand?
lol.. Thailand's "Buddhism" is one of the most corrupt forms there is so I don't know what "spirituality" you're referring to.Their political system still almost feudal with the military behind every thin veneer of "democracy" and a handful of super rich families with near monopolies of all business there. I have been coming here since 1993 and yes there's new flashy buildings every time I go to Bangkok but when it comes to education it's still 3rd world as is their healthcare for the majority. Not one of their University "degrees"is accepted in an advanced economy either. I love the place and my wife is Thai but there's still a lot wrong here
hardly crumbling, and just like the other comment who is 100% right, its a thin veneer in Thailand. You cant own shit as foreigner, you can pretend you do but you dont. Also, theres a either "violent or nonviolent revolution" happening there every few years. The police are about as corrupt as any ive seen in asia or other 3rd world countries. Medical system is great if you have money, which most dont, the socialised free medical they get is crap. Big reason prices, as you say, havent changed, there isnt a huge demand to go there, to invest. Also, the US leaves marijuana legalization to the people in each state, Ca for instince, had legallized weed 8 years ago, Thailand finally catched up to get some of the money involved in that. Thailand is a great place but not perfect, especially for non Thai's. Which, no matter how long you live there, married Thai, have businesses there, you still will forever be a Farung.
@@neonomad1939 Read more carefully. I said "for the majority". They would be the poor. If you are wealthy there's a number of choices, but I've been to a hospital where the family are sleeping under the bed and have to bring food.
Thailand is also a monarchy that has purged its own internal competing monarchs. Top that off with Buddhism which eliminates ambition from cousins or siblings for the crown then you got harmony.
66 yr old retired American now living fulltime in the Philippines, after a 35 year professional career with FedEx, in Los Angeles. I'm never going back. I have a quality of life in Asia that I could not have dreamed of in the States. In Los Angeles, I was successful, but I never FELT successful. Always stressed out. Always overworked. Now retired, I'm not rich, but I FEEL rich here in the PI! The conversion rates against the US Dollar basically triples my income.
I hear you bro, I feel the same, and now am enjoying my best life in China, because I have a Chinese wife, of course. 3 million Americans are loving living overseas. It really should be more, and I predict it will be very soon.
Thailand has one of the most corrupt forms of what they call "Buddhism" , money, drug scandals, sex scandals and "connections" to bad actors in politics , police and the military.
Thailand does not have a national religion, but Thailand has been open about religion for a long time since the Ayutthaya period, so there are no problems regarding religion and the ideas of the people. Most Thai people just believe in Buddhism for a long time.
I lived 40 years in the San Francisco East Bay, Berkeley & El Cerrito. I was back there in 2023 but chose not to visit San Francisco. Damn! That was a depressing SF neighborhood you were walking around. 😢 I retired to Thailand 🇹🇭 in 2017.
I notice since the video started, you feel like Thai to me, The calm, relax! I'm young Thai and live in Thailand, thanks for the video Hopefully, American people and communities be kind, be for each other and be great again every soon!
Thank you for noticing that-it means a lot, especially coming from someone who truly understands the Thai way of calm and relaxed living. Hope that kindness, community, and unity continue to grow in the U.S. It’s inspiring to see these values here in Thailand, and maybe they’ll be embraced more widely everywhere.
the first part makes me think about my religion Buddhism, after converse with people from major religions from multiple sects, understand some core value and I think Buddhism does suit me the best I'm a simple guy, I'm not really religious either Here I don't have restrict custom when it comes to interact with another religious group, the goal of Buddhism really simple as it just the way of life and how to attend happiness. which is why a lot of part in Thailand is peaceful. there is a word in Buddhism that is to "take middle path" not too right, not too left. Basically, choose to act in a way that isn't too extreme and end up hurting ourselves and others. If you have some matter that make you feel down, speaking with actual good monk once in a while is great too
Thank you for sharing this thoughtful reflection. Buddhism’s emphasis on simplicity, understanding, and balance truly resonates, especially with the concept of the "middle path." It’s a way of life that promotes peace and compassion without extreme views, allowing space for acceptance and kindness toward others, regardless of their beliefs. This gentle approach does seem to bring a sense of calm to many parts of Thailand. And you're right-sometimes connecting with a good monk can provide clarity and a grounded perspective, especially during tough times. Buddhism's focus on inner peace and happiness is both profound and practical, offering guidance in a way that feels accessible and uplifting.
My husband and I just got back home Tuesday. I truly love the culture and the value of life and family. Crazy driving and I didn’t see any road rage. People have respect for each other
The emphasis on family, respect, and the overall peaceful way people interact is such a beautiful part of the culture. The driving may be a bit wild at times, but it’s amazing to see how people handle it with calmness and mutual respect-road rage really isn’t common. Glad you both had a great trip.
As A Thai. I love traveling abroad but I might say I never wanted to visit the US. Feel like your country still have some big problem to fix in terms of quality of life in general, mind and soul. I bless you to be safe and care about majority of the US people instead of caring just a few group of billionaire. We are Thais not as rich as your country if measuring by GDP but living here in Thailand is safe and less worry about life comparing to yours. I bless you all to have a happier life
Thank you for sharing this thoughtful perspective. Quality of life and peace of mind are invaluable, and Thailand truly offers a sense of calm and safety that’s hard to find elsewhere. It’s true that there are big challenges in the U.S. right now, and as you said, focusing on the well-being of all people, not just a select few, would make a meaningful difference. Your blessings for safety and happiness mean a lot. Thailand may not measure wealth by GDP alone, but it’s rich in heart and community-a true reminder of what matters most. Thank you for your kind wishes.
the prices in America are tripled only for the things you dont need(beer, eating out etc). For things you need(housing, transport, fresh food, healthcare...)its more like 6 or 7 times more expensive
I do as well. I think there is not the political or spiritual will amongst our business leaders to put the country on a bright and sustainable path. They think it is wiser to burn the candle at both ends, and it will not last. Everyone here is being stressed to the brink and these post-covid years are making me wonder how much more people can be pressed.
The Executive Branch is long gone so there is no leadership. It's a bureaucratic state trapped by omnibus influence and intel-corporate malfeasance. And if you brought in a great leader such as Elon Musk to fix just a tiny part of the government, NASA for example. It would be impossible. Think about it, we recently had a Supreme Court nominee asked "What is a woman?" and nobody knew. This is something that only a 4th turning can fix. As I heard a poet once say, "Tomorrow is a long way down. I really wouldn't wait for it."
This is quite on point. I feel like our views are aligned. I've been in Thailand for 7-years and I came back to visit for the first time 2-years ago and it was a surprise. It's changed a lot. Although, I am from Santa Barbara, CA; I've been in Texas a number of years. It's substantially better that SoCal in my humble opinion. However; anytime I leave Thailand and come back to Thailand, I feel like kissing the ground. I also agree on sports. I stopped watching sports when I was about 15 when I heard the still true statistic, the average football or basketball game has between 8-12 minutes of gameplay. The rest is resets, calls and commercials. When I go back to America, I know it's weird, but the the thing that is weird for me now is how tall the women are. They feel like giants to me now :)
at 72 and retired here in Thailand , nope not going back or moving back, I saw back in 2016 when I had to retire because work finished , I knew 20 years ago with the increasing costs my retirement income would not make it why, because of what happens to all retired or older folks that can't work. So to get ready to move to Thailand all my investments and home had to be paid for by 2016 and then make the best choices - I sold everything to move back - Wife is from thailand. Took all the cash I had saved and paid cash for everything here cars and house.
Buddhism in thailand sees reality, the happenings that happen in front of us, sees the cause of birth, sees the result of the cause of birth, more than thinking and guessing by ourselves. So we live in the present and are happy rather than expecting the future to be happy.

Admin, the way on your thinking and your mind, now you're Thai. USA and Thailand are very similar. We have so many ethnicities. American problems we can fix by make USA to be Thai. ❤🎉😊..
American foreign policy is to prop up the Dollar and American interests despite all damage done to others. The insane crazy crap the CIA has done is evidence to this.
One thing you talk about is the cost, but are you basing this on your american income or living like a typical Thai local? This is a huge piece of the living abroad deal that is always glossed over. Would you say things are still cheap if you were living as a Thai local?
You’re absolutely right; cost of living can feel very different depending on whether you're earning an American income or living like a local. For me, it’s a mix-I try to experience things the way locals do, but I also have the flexibility of an American income, which definitely affects my perspective. Living entirely on a local income would mean making different choices, and while some things would still be affordable, certain comforts would definitely add up. Thanks for highlighting this-it's an important piece of the living abroad puzzle that deserves more attention.
@@PhilipJames360 I'm glad you clarified. I still think it doesn't negate your points, i was just curious. I myself consider living elsewhere, even if only temporary. It makes less sense to spend hard earned USD here when it can be better arbitraged in another country. I think your video touches on that topic very well.
Yes were are living and spending our American dollars. The exchange rate is in our favor. If you are working then you want to be earning western wages and not Thai wages. Life is a mixture of Western amenities and Thai culture we choose to indulge in. If you try to live an exclusively western lifestyle you will not experience much cost savings.
USE x pat living in bangkok..1 year now.. zero crime blows me away . I lived in the sf bay area ..don't miss America .I'm buddhist too so that plays into it. Thanks for your video brother!
Live in a way that we understand them. They understand us. The rules are not too tight, not too loose. You will have a Thai society. Everyone can do what they like. But if you disturb others, instead of blocking them, don't do it. Find a space where they can do it, you teach them where they can do it or not instead. Everyone can free to do what they like. Everyone is happy. And be kind to each other.
Watching you back on our broken streets that await (according to some) this justifiable thermonuclear annihilation was mind blowing. I was thinking of the blatant racism on display towards Caucasians, and feeling somewhere between offended and utter despair, but your calm heart set me at ease. You've been away (and maybe you were like this before) but it seems apparent that Thailand has seeped into your bone marrow my friend. America needs more of yen jai (comfortable heart) "The experience of feeling the absence of problems or burdens in life. I'll never set a foot back in California but I'm grateful for the money train I was able to ride while there. Definitely the land of have and have-not. Soon, I shall find my kra yim jai หัวใจที่พึงพอใจ Satisfied Heart 👣
I love the quote. That description of yen jai is so fitting-it really captures the peace and acceptance that come with life in Thailand. It’s inspiring to hear that you’re on your way to finding your own kra yim jai and starting a new chapter.
Yes, our religious nuts want death and destruction to come to this planet, so Jesus can return and fix everything. I think I prefer to go with more peaceful eastern religions. But this is how western civilization evolved. Peaceful loving peoples got massacred and taken over by the violent conquerors. Fortunately a recessive strain of goodness genes was able to survive in people living all over the world, but it certainly lives in greater numbers in the east.
This is true, people from Thailand want to come to American and people from American want to go live in Thailand. My nieces been trying to come to America for the longest she hate living in Bangkok she said is hot and not to mention traffic and etc.. and I am over here telling her is too cold here in US lol. But as for me I pick living here in US. We live in small town of Michigan surrounding by lakes. As we all know we have four seasons here right now is beautiful fall.
Thank you for sharing that. It’s true that perspectives vary based on what each person values in their environment. Bangkok’s energy is unique but can come with its own challenges like heat and traffic. Meanwhile, a small Michigan town surrounded by lakes sounds peaceful, especially with the beauty of fall colors. Thailand and the U.S. each offer something special, and it sounds like you’re embracing the best of your hometown. Perhaps one day your niece will get to experience a Michigan fall, and you’ll both get to see a bit of each other’s world.
@@PhilipJames360 for sure and yes I have experience living in Thailand myself for couple years during my younger years and yes I when back to visit and stay for couple months. Thank you for your kind comments. Our family really do love and embrace our state.
It would definitely be better to live in a third world country with American income, but a country with relatively good public security and infrastructure would definitely be better. The people who live there with local wages will suffer.
He is an NPC and has a very romanticized image of Thailand and he’s living out that image . Zero awareness of what’s going on politically (WEF, globalists, Zionists takeover) . I agree with you in a few years Thailand will not be the same. What I’ve noticed here in Thailand since I’ve been away for so long is the cultural issues like you said among the youths of Thailand. They seem to be totally propagandized by LGBTQ stuff, they have completely walked away from religions, etc. Same things happened in the USA starting around after WW2 as a result of cultural subversions. Similar subversions have begun in Thailand, 😢
The Philippines and Vietnam are probably much cheaper and better at the moment than Thailand. And if you want to reduce the foreigners in your country a lot you only have to shut down the red light entertainment areas. ^^
I agree with almost everything but what you said about sports, I think sports can play a huge role inspiring people to be great, I've learned a lot about life watching the UFC, and thailand has muay thai, this is a huge plus for them, they practice connecting with the spiritual, perseverance, mental and physical strength.
Same situation in the UK the beginning where you interviewed those guys on the street they were commenting on the foreign aid bulls hit I agree with them !
I have lived in Thailand for over 3 years now and would never move back to the US. I had to go back this summer for a very close friend's wedding. The first thing I noticed was LAX was very dirty and broken compared to BKK then noticed at DEN people don't respect each other and tried to crowd the train between terminals without letting others get off first and once they got on the train they didn't move in so other people could get on. There was this feeling of discontent and negativity in the air most places I went. I finally had some good times with my rural friends but only when I got out to the country side. Something I noticed about other expats living in Thailand is they still refer to the US as "home" and I absolutely don't see it that way. Thai people are still opinionated but you need to ask them (it also helps to know Thai), they don't just blurt out their feelings randomly to strangers, there is no need to be confrontational above all else. This is something I still need to to work on for myself.
Because Thai culture treat everyone with respect and are humble. Accept different point of views without judging. Buddhism does not judge or think it is a must it’s just a way of life.
Are you Thai because I am and honestly you sound utterly clueless. Thailand has a very tiered society class wise, take a lo so girl to a hi so wedding and you'll smell the judgement before you even see it. Not that I would of course I'm not insane. There's tons of judgment in Thailand, just because it's not in your face doesn't mean it's not happening
Good video, I try to stay positive here in the US and I live in a smaller town so thats better. It can be a real shit show in the bigger cities. I am going to move to Thailand in the next year or 2 and leave the rat race, maybe sooner hahahah! Enjoy your videos and hope to meet up sometime in Thailand!
Thanks so much for the support. Staying positive, especially in the U.S., can be challenging at times, but it sounds like you’ve found a good balance by being in a smaller town. Moving to Thailand sounds like an exciting plan, and stepping away from the rat race is a big decision-I think you’ll love it here. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos, and who knows, maybe our paths will cross in Thailand one day. Safe travels on your journey!
I lived in Frisco for 2 decades, I live in Pattaya now, biggest difference. BEAUTIFUL AVAILABLE WOMEN PLUS THAILAND HAS ABUNDANCE OF CHEAP DELICIOUS FOOD 24 HRS A DAY AND MORE DIVERSE CULTURE. I have 6 cars in US, I ride a Honda pcx 160 scooter here in Jomtien lol
The scooter life really is something special-simplicity at its finest, offering a kind of freedom that’s hard to find with a car. Sounds like Pattaya has given you a refreshing shift from the pace of S.F. There’s definitely something about Thailand’s abundance of affordable, delicious food at any hour, along with its welcoming, diverse culture. Trading in six cars for a Honda PCX 160 is quite the transformation.
One thing I value about the U.S. is the ability to own property outright. In countries like Thailand, foreigners can only lease land, as ownership is restricted. In contrast, U.S. property laws grant full ownership rights, making it a standout place to live despite its imperfections.
Thailand may not be the best country. Thai people may not speak English. But it is a beautiful country in the heart. And there is freedom in life. Thais give warm welcome. Because thais are taught to know the word "give" and to be "generous."
What visa are you on that allowed you to stay 5 years @BorderlessOffice? And how do you pay/file your taxes? Can you make a video on that topic for your viewers?

If you are not married to a Thai, you cannot buy a house or land in Thailand, but you can only buy a condominium, which starts at around 2-3 million baht. In Bangkok, it will be more expensive, depending on the location.
Man, regarding sports, you are 100 percent spot on. And I came to that revelation during the plandemic. It didn’t matter that they separated the world from each other, sports continued on. I've been in Southeast Asia for a few years. I've made my homes in Chiang Mai, Thailand and DaNang, Vietnam. I have no plans to return to the US other than to visit family. I'm done with life in America.
Returning to the US from Japan, you can almost taste the hate and I'm talking 1975 and 1992. I've been in the Philippines for 16 years now. Pretty much just ignored but I don't feel the hate.
That’s an interesting perspective and a stark comparison. It sounds like you’ve found a sense of peace and neutrality in the Philippines, a place where you feel more at ease. The cultural atmosphere in some places can carry a weight that’s hard to put into words, and each country offers its own sense of acceptance and community. Sometimes, simply being in a place where you’re not constantly reminded of tension or hostility can make all the difference in how we experience life abroad. Thank you for sharing this.

Yeh but you make F all money in Thailand.

We have good parts and dark parts but over all, hope the better parts are a lot more.❤
I love this video so much.

Health care 3rd world in Thailand?? Where in LOS are you talking about??
@@neonomad1939 Read more carefully. I said "for the majority". They would be the poor. If you are wealthy there's a number of choices, but I've been to a hospital where the family are sleeping under the bed and have to bring food.

Most Thai people just believe in Buddhism for a long time.

after converse with people from major religions from multiple sects,
understand some core value and I think Buddhism does suit me the best
I'm a simple guy, I'm not really religious either
Here I don't have restrict custom when it comes to interact with another religious group,
the goal of Buddhism really simple as it just the way of life and how to attend happiness.
which is why a lot of part in Thailand is peaceful.
there is a word in Buddhism that is to "take middle path"
not too right, not too left. Basically, choose to act in a way that isn't too extreme and end up hurting ourselves and others.
If you have some matter that make you feel down,
speaking with actual good monk once in a while is great too
Thank you for sharing this thoughtful reflection.

I honestly believe with the right leadership America can be a good place to be
I do as well.
We need to change. I do not want to give up on American. I’m voting for Jill Stein.
But that's not going to happen

However; anytime I leave Thailand and come back to Thailand, I feel like kissing the ground. I also agree on sports. I stopped watching sports when I was about 15 when I heard the still true statistic, the average football or basketball game has between 8-12 minutes of gameplay. The rest is resets, calls and commercials. When I go back to America, I know it's weird, but the the thing that is weird for me now is how tall the women are. They feel like giants to me now :)
Brother, you captured how low is the vibration of this place. We can feel the sadness...
at 72 and retired here in Thailand , nope not going back or moving back, I saw back in 2016 when I had to retire because work finished , I knew 20 years ago with the increasing costs my retirement income would not make it why, because of what happens to all retired or older folks that can't work. So to get ready to move to Thailand all my investments and home had to be paid for by 2016 and then make the best choices - I sold everything to move back - Wife is from thailand. Took all the cash I had saved and paid cash for everything here cars and house.
Thanks for your compliments 😊
Buddhism in thailand sees reality, the happenings that happen in front of us, sees the cause of birth, sees the result of the cause of birth, more than thinking and guessing by ourselves. So we live in the present and are happy rather than expecting the future to be happy.
All that peace and happiness is cool, but I rather go to heaven, then be reincarnated bruh
Thankyou for making this and your view (: I totally agree with everything
I opened a business where there were 100 homeless people on the doorstep and WE had to get the police and community together to clean it up.
-San Francisco
I live in Santa Clara and I’m so scared every time I visit SF. It used to be a beautiful city but now it’s so scary. 😢
I 'm Thai. Basiclly Thai people maintained about good culture. Respect elderly people. Thai people would like to live peaceful. Compormising people together. Thanks for your videos.
Candace quality of life continue Thailand with all the foreigners flocking there to live and how much longer will the cost of living below in Thailand the big influx of people moving there???!
Expat from the US living in Thailand seven years.
Everything great there. Haven't missed the US for a moment.
Visit family several times a year. Visits are great. Love my family.
But always happy to get back to Thailand.
Admin, the way on your thinking and your mind, now you're Thai. USA and Thailand are very similar. We have so many ethnicities. American problems we can fix by make USA to be Thai. ❤🎉😊..
warm warm heartedness = Love !!
American foreign policy is a train reck been like that for 50 years
American foreign policy is to prop up the Dollar and American interests despite all damage done to others.
Thank you for finally talking about this long over due.
I landed in Thailand a couple of days ago, I love it over here ❤
Watching you back on our broken streets that await (according to some) this justifiable thermonuclear annihilation was mind blowing.
You have entered a state of feeling perfectly in tune with yourself emotionally or a state of comfort and pleasantness. You feel comfortable inside yourself and with those around you; there is an inner peace and sense of calm. You have eaten a perfect mango and sit back with a big grin, stomach full, heart comfortable." -- hearttalk by Christopher G Moore.
I'm counting the days! Reinventing myself, as they say, after a divorce, I'll be in Bangkok for January and then making the big move to Thailand forever after I cash in some Golden State investment money. I'll never set a foot back in California but I'm grateful for the money train I was able to ride while there. Definitely the land of have and have-not.
Soon, I shall find my kra yim jai Satisfied Heart 👣
Thank you ขอบคุณครับ
This is true, people from Thailand want to come to American and people from American want to go live in Thailand. My nieces been trying to come to America for the longest she hate living in Bangkok she said is hot and not to mention traffic and etc.. and I am over here telling her is too cold here in US lol. But as for me I pick living here in US. We live in small town of Michigan surrounding by lakes. As we all know we have four seasons here right now is beautiful fall.
"Wherever you go, there you are" indeed. But America is not a land of preem jai

The same thing is happening in most of the world. Same political ideas influencing it. 😒
I agree with almost everything but what you said about sports, I think sports can play a huge role inspiring people to be great, I've learned a lot about life watching the UFC, and thailand has muay thai, this is a huge plus for them, they practice connecting with the spiritual, perseverance, mental and physical strength.
I am from SF been to Thailand couple of times
Same situation in the UK the beginning where you interviewed those guys on the street they were commenting on the foreign aid bulls hit I agree with them !
From Sacramento and been living in Thailand mostly since 2017, never going back to the states.
As a Thai who lived in The U.S. I agree with you brother.
Yeah, I’m retiring in February. I’m moving to the Philippines. I will check out Thailand, but my fiancée is in the Philippines.
that quote from American Gangster applies to the UK and parts of the EU as well speaking as a struggling entrepreneur !
Hope you make more videos in America. I want to know about the current situation there
Because Thai culture treat everyone with respect and are humble.
Mental health is a multi billion dollar industry in America. There are no psychiatrists millionaires in Thailand. Let that sink in.
Stay in Thailand. You will definitely age faster back home. Great video
I did not know that you could buy a DOT safety dress. Phenomenal.
Thailand 🇹🇭 is the number 1️⃣ Thai smile 😊
quality of life - I agree with you.
Because thais are taught to know
the word "give" and to be "generous."
Warm, heart-felt, welcoming, and generosity... I agree with you.
Great video !
What visa are you on that allowed you to stay 5 years @BorderlessOffice? And how do you pay/file your taxes? Can you make a video on that topic for your viewers?
Flying in Asia is so much more enjoyable than the US! I like to feel respected as a passenger...
How much does it cost to live there home prices
Living in Thailand offers a range of housing options to suit various budgets. Here's an overview of home prices and living costs:

Houses: The average cost of a house in Thailand ranges from ฿3.64 million ($108,406) to ฿5.09 million ($151,768), with an average of ฿144,832 ($4,315) per square meter.
Cost of Living:
Monthly Expenses: A family of four can expect estimated monthly costs of $2,148.8 (฿72,537.2) without rent, while a single person might spend around $603.3 (฿20,364.8) without rent.
Comparison to the U.S.: Overall, the cost of living in Thailand is about 47% lower than in the United States, with rent being approximately 70.8% lower.
Additional Considerations:
Utilities and Services: Utilities, transportation, and food are generally more affordable in Thailand compared to Western countries.
Lifestyle Choices: Living costs can vary significantly based on lifestyle preferences, location, and housing choices.
I’ve lived in Dominican Republic for the better part of the last 4yrs and realized how being away from the mainland was so peaceful. I enjoyed your video. Thank you
