From 0-3 double minibreak down, Carlos had to redline like crazy with clever strategies to win 7 points in a row. And just like that, he snapped Sinner's amazing tiebreak winning streak. That was the only way he could've come back from that deficit, let alone make it back even. I don't know if we'll ever see such a miraculous turnaround at the death of a final set tiebreak like that again anytime soon. The last time something like that happened was Thiem against Djokovic in London 2020, coming from 0-4 down to win 7-5. If we're getting marathon epic matches like this already, so early in this rivalry... at this rate, if the upward trajectory continues... jeez, we ain't seen nothing yet. This is will be scary good and scarcely believable.

Very high quality match with lots of amazing points. Could have gone either way. These two are going to give us many more competitive matches for years to come.
I may be biased because Carlos is my countryman but as a tennis fan for many many years, I really believe that Carlos bring something to the court that is very unique that other players simply don’t have even Sinner who is an outstanding player and certainly one of the best of this generation. Carlos has a belief in himself that no other player has. He is constantly looking to attack and to vary his shot making. He is also very conscious that the public has paid to enjoy tennis. Therefore, he’s looking to entertain, which is I think unusual in the professional circuit where many people simply and naturally want to win so that they can earn a living. I hope you see many many more finals between these two marvelous tennis players because it certainly was a joy to watch.

I'm always Sinner fan because of his humbleness. Never heard him claimed an arrogance and always claimed that he still needs an I improvement which I hardly heard from most of the players .
This is a great rivalry between two of the greatest players today. When they play, the fans are so excited, the players also improve in the process. Reminds me of Federer and Nadal.
Congratulations Carlos, beautiful to see you with the trophy. Congrats to Sinner too for holding up well under the weight of unfair case reopening. Isn’t that even double jeopardy like….. ( clearly not a lawyer). Anyway, wish both players the best. Especially Carlitos
I see Alcaraz has broken sinner mentally many times, sinner has not really done the same with Alcaraz. Also Alcaraz has figured Sinner out more than Sinner has figured out Alcaraz. Sinner needs to improve those weak chains that Alcaraz keeps going back to such as bringing him to the net or moving him around.
Tough to figure out alcaraz. He can do baselining like sinner whole day. Then he will come to net. He can slice. He can do everything. You have no rythm
You know, we have a huge example with Djokovic. He Is not the best player, in my opinion Federer and also Nadal were better players. But Djokovic Is GOAT because he won more tournaments. Thanks to commitment in training, mental strength, strategy. So, no surprise if at the end Sinner will have won more slams than alcaraz. I do think that alcaraz career will be a bit shorter than sinner's , too, due to his very physically demanding playing style .
Bello vedere confrontarsi!
I honestly think Juan Carlos was crying because this match had so many similarities to the Olympic final against Djokovic. Carlos was the better player overall in both matches, but in the tiebreaks, he wiltered against Novak, and it looked like he was going to do the same thing again in that 3rd set. It was a HUGE mental hurdle to overcome for Carlos, especially winning 7 points in a row after being 3-0 down. I feel like Juan knew how important this victory was for Carlos.
Wonderful rivalry between two great human beings: well behaved, humble, respectful. Their match-up is tilted a bit in Carlos's favor now and to counter that Jannik's net game needs to get a couple of notches better so that he can take the net away a little bit from Carlos.
Although its frustrating gor jannik to have had three losses to Carlos this year in many ways its motivating. If he had no rivals left there wouldn't be anything to work for.
Sinner lost it for few details in the final tie break: on 3-0 onwards he didn't serve anymore first serve and this was the issue. With a better 1st serve Sinner would have won. It was enough to get 2 points by 1st serve over 4 served, he did 0 1st serve and this condamned him to lose.
In details are differences at this level and that makes them great! Both of them...may be you should be more fair play to recognize the winner. See that are Sinner's fan who comment about this in such a gracefull mode. May be you should read that comments and learn to respect champions. So sorry for you because you could not gave credit to Carlos for his fantastic game....
Sinner needs to improve mental strenght when its comes to critical moments.. its not showing on his emotions and physical gesture but his play has no longer focused on his target and seems position himself on defense usually.
@@deepakmahajan-g3c not the first serve mate, the 2nd. The first serve by Sinner was not enough effective, it's something he also and various commentators said. And he also said that during the winter pause he needs to work on that.. during the tie break he didn't serve a 1st serve after the 3-0, which is as I said the reason why he lost. While Carlos served an ace and better 1st serve during the tie break. On these small details Sinner as I said lost the match.
In order to stay healthy for a long time or to prevent new injuries, Alcaraz must improve the weaker segments of his game first and second serves (improving the consistency, techniques, efficiency, quality, power and speed of the serve, accuracy, precision, covering skills so that the opponent can hardly read and when hitting the ball from the backhand or forehand side on the grass and concrete flat, catch or hit the ball very early in the rise, so you take time for your opponent to react, deep and accurate near the baseline without heavy topspin unlike clay with heavy topspin like Nadal, when you return the opponent's serve on clay and on other surfaces, regardless of whether the first or second is closer to the baseline and not the whole match a few meters behind the line like Nadal and when you receive the second serve of the opponent or you have a chance to attack, be aggressive, that is, attack that serve with an excellent return hitting the winner or you are the one who should dictate the point in the match so that the opponent is on the defensive and you are on the attack, and not the whole match a few meters behind the line so that you defend and the opponent attacks you as in the case with Djokovic at the Olympics, regardless of the fact that clay is a slow surface, your style of play or tactics should be a mixture of defensive and offensive style and not exclusively defensive style like Nadal. On the other hand, on grass and concrete should only be an offensive style with an occasional path or a rare use of a defensive style of play, since all his other shots are top-notch and there is no need to improve) and change the tournament schedule. His service is not of high quality and he needs to work on it so that it is a top weapon (aces, unreturnable serves that the opponent does not return to the court, free or easy points without playing and achieving a strategic advantage in points). Regardless of the fact that he has worked on this shot over the years, it is not enough and he still needs to improve in this segment of the game. Alcaraz needs a top serve because he is a short player and to conserve energy (his body will be preserved like Federer's or Sampras' for most of his career and he won't have constant problems with injuries like Nadal). Sampras, Federer and Edberg had top serve and are similar heights to Alcaraz (height 185 cm compared to Alcaraz's height 183 cm). Sampras' serve was very strong or powerful and fast and of equal quality to the serve of high players (Karlović 2,08 cm , Isner 2,08 cm, Ivanišević 193 cm, Rodik 188 cm or Becker 191 cm). Edberg's and Federer's serve was not as strong and fast compared to the previous mentioned players but also top-notch or of equal quality. Also, Federer's serve was superb, but it was difficult to read. Carlos' serve should be of equal quality or in the same range as previous high or low players. For the serve, you have three options: the first is to replace Ferrero with some excellent player with a superb serve to improve your shot (Sampras, Ivanisevic, Federer, Roddick, Nadal version from us open 2010 or Becker), the second is to copy the service technique of some of these players if Ferrero remains in the team as the head coach and the third is to bring another player that I mentioned earlier into the team in addition to Ferrer. Ferero is superb on clay and maybe he should stay in the team but it doesn't have great results on grass and concrete and he cannot improve his serve so that it becomes a top weapon like the other segments in the game, since Ferrero himself did not have a top serve during his career. The tournament schedule should be as follows: a preparatory tournament before Australia or just Australia, one tournament on concrete and not clay or a break until the start of the first Masters, Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Madrid, Rome, Roland Garros, Wimblodon , canada, cincinnati, us open, one 500 or 250 tournament and masters: shanghai, paris, final masters or just the last three masters at the end of the season. In total each season he should play 16 (4 grand slams, final masters, 9 masters 1000 category and two tournaments 500 category tournaments) or 17 when the Olympic Games or the Davis Cup are being played and less than 16 when we exclude small tournaments, Olympic Games and Davis Cup. During the season you do not play small tournaments or you play a maximum of 2 tournaments with different combinations of tournament schedules. For Roland Garros, it is enough to play three Masters as preparatory tournaments for the Grand Slam, and by no means 4 tournaments (three Masters and Barcelona) is that too much and unnecessary. This schedule with three tournaments during the clay season is much better than 4 if you prevent injury during the season and the appearance of physical exhaustion (at the end of the season, during the clay season and at Wimbledon). You should copy the clay season schedule of Federer or Novak, is Rafa's schedule completely wrong. One of the reasons why Nadal has very few titles at Wimbledon, always problems with injuries, when he comes to the grass he always has problems with physical exhaustion and losing in the first week of the tournament is precisely as a result of playing a large number of small tournaments during the season in general and playing a large number tournaments or matches during the clay court season. Also, only one indoor title or no major titles at the last three masters in the autumn period of the season due to injuries and physical exhaustion is a consequence of the very reason I said in the previous sentence. His focus should be exclusively on conquest big tournaments (grand slam, masters final and 1000, Olympic games). Other tournaments that do not fall into this group (tournaments 250 and 500, the cup at the beginning of the year and the Davis Cup) are small tournaments or unimportant competitions and do not enter into the parameters for determining the goat race. For this reason, he should play them as little as possible during the season or skip them. With one gold medal from the Olympic Games, he can throw this tournament off the calendar or at least play one more time for another gold medal and then not play again. Davis Cup enough to have won it once and not play again after that. Alcaraz, there is no need to play exhibitions (Laver Cup and other competitions) are they optional tournaments and you only risk injury or physical fatigue as a result of overexerting your body. He also has to learn when hitting the ball to do it with as little effort, expending energy, to work on improving the technique when performing shots, there is no need to run for every ball and to hit every ball all the time with all his strength. These changes will help him one day be in a position to be a goat, a more preserved body throughout his career, without many constant injuries throughout his career. He needs to learn from some of Nadal's disastrous mistakes.

10-6 and 3-0 this year...and Carlos is two years younger. Sinner is straordinary player, but Carlos is a genious.
Sinner is a genious in his own way
Where is carlos in US open?
You know, we have a huge example with Djokovic. He Is not the best player, in my opinion Federer and also Nadal were better players. But Djokovic Is GOAT because he won more tournaments. Thanks to commitment in training, mental strength, strategy. So, no surprise if at the end Sinner will have won more slams than alcaraz. I do think that alcaraz career will be a bit shorter than sinner's , too, due to his very physically demanding playing style .
10-6 what??
Sinner started later, he's still improving.
Carlos is a happy boy😁
I don’t care who is the winner because I like them both, really enjoy how they played in each match. Alcaraz vs Sinner my fav matches
Bello vedere confrontarsi!
Sei sempre il meglio
We watch tennis because you guys win 🏆 or lose we love ❤️ you all ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾
He's getting so much better with his English.
Vinicius could learn manners from this both!
@@teonalozonschi5409 maybe you didn't watch the match, that's the thing. No offence but you don't know tennis at all. Bye
@@deepakmahajan-g3c yes and Sinner has 4000 points more in the ranking. As as Carlos said, Sinner also could have won in 2 (or 3).
