Oh wow this video is excellent!!! Your rock my friend!! I put all of my dirty rags in our washer, but that was many years ago. I never forgot the look on my wife’s face when she found out. 😳
67herby At first she was...😳 Then looked inside the washer and 😡 Honestly this may sound strange but I wouldn’t mind finding an old ringer washer, for my garage. I know that’s kind of strange. Then I can wash my rags, but thanks for this video I think I have a new way
you know dan that is how they started making those big hot water washers. a guy out here patented that. Made a bunch of money now out here I dont even think they are legal anymore. good ole california killing everything but facebook and google.
I use old cotton clothes for rags. If I get solvents or gas on them, especially using paint thinner for parts cleaning, I put them in my burn barrel and burn it all up. Plain old oil rags I throw away.
cleans them up really good. Those rags were useless and now I can use them. Sometimes I use the HF ones and throw them out because I dont really have time. but this is great for ecology. water is still good for my big trees.
By the way those rags are pretty much like new and ready for reuse.
Good PSA 👍👍

You should see the look you get when they open up the dish washer and there a VW case in there..
my wife would never use it again She would have me at the appliance store coughing up cash for a new one.

That was a good comment about the rags spontaneously combusting. This is definitely something you have to watch out for in a shop!

Thanks for the video. I'll be tearing into the 94 Capri XR2 soon. Food safety tips. I'll use plastic cat litter tubs. LOL

now this is a interesting video
I bought a washer for $50 buks and trow all my shop rags oily jackets shirts and pants all in one and let them air dry on the clothes hanger outside .
Oof, that drill is not happy. I'd get a big stick or something and mix em like churning butter
For easily being combustible, are you talking about ATF or about gear oil?
