Dumfries, Galloway, and Northumberland, a great area to explore quiet single track roads everywhere, just watch out for logging trucks. To miss the Erskine Bridge and Glasgow take the Gourock Dunoon ferry. Great series so far and so lucky with the weather.
What a ride! I have enjoyed you sharing this trip in Scotland with us. I am across the pond and to see the scenery that you have experienced riding through, is magical. Motorcycles help us get out and about to see what is in our back yards! You would not have taken this journey in a car and certainly not experienced the sites, sounds, and smells that a motorcycle provides while riding. I enjoyed getting caught up in your excitement of this journey and I am at peace. Motorcycles are cheaper and better than a counselor for mental health! One is alive when riding a motorcycle! Be safe and many more adventures, mate. Cheers.
I wil say i would love to se you in Norway and drive the NX 500 around here it is insane nice nature and roads here for you Mr Fish since it look's like you like lovly and amazing nature and roads :) Eivind from Norway also owner of a NX 500 😆😆👍👍 PS : It is expensive here!!! So bring the tent with you! And you can use the tent where ever you want in the nature it's no law's against that here only keep 150 meters distanse to houses and so on! I must admit Scotland is bautiful too!!! And a very good video one of the best you have made!
48yo with midlife crisis( so they say) and a new NX. I absolutely live your content and defo enjoy your relaxed style of riding. More more more. So many questions too lol
Fantastic series road trip Mr Fish, thoroughly enjoyed it all & the NX did you proud - what a brilliant small adventure bike it is. Your not bad at this vlogging malarkey are you ❤️
Thanks mate, i'm out of the country always nice to see what the seasons are doing over there. The image is good also. Like the sound of that exhaust, i'm on an older ninja 650 got a 'Black Widow' exhaust (silver British stainless steel looks bad ass like the end of a bazooka but the sound is too high). Need something deeper easier on the ears.
Unfortunately the bit in the middle outside the cities is mostly full of ex-mining, or other dead industrial (like shipbuilding, car manufacturing) towns and villages that never recovered, so can sometimes appear to be a bit rundown and poor. You would need more knowledge to be able to pick your way through via the nicer areas. I've never ridden through the Galloway forest park, will need to keep that one for next spring/summer, looks amazing.
im trying to figure out what that road is through to Galloway Forrest is it A714 ? Looks incredible .. never been down that way .. from Glasgow .. will def be going now .. nice one
