I understand the state of these animals rescued from being homeless; but I'll never understand an animal being neglected while having a home. Some of us are indeed demons in human's clothing. These rescuers are a saving grace for humanity.

We “fostered” a mum cat and 3 kittens at the start of last year. We found them starved, at an abandoned house. We couldn’t keep the mum as we had 2 older cats already and they weren’t doing well even while they were separated. The runt kitten passed away too after about a week. I got up every two hours and hand fed her before going back to bed. We kept the two sisters who went from being starved and underweight, to beautiful, big fluffy cats now. They’re polar opposites but they’re closer than ever. I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have my fur babies 💕 🐱

I have also adopted a stray kitten with an eye disease but is treated and all healthy now.
Alex P0tato when we first got them, we took them to the vets straight away. They all had severe cat flu and the kittens only had a 30% or so chance of survival. I was so happy when they pulled through 😊

I love these videos . Our "old man cat"was a hot mess. He showed up o e night middle of winter half starved. Scared to death and hissing at you if you looked at him from the other side of the house. Now one year later. He screams and trips you of you forget to kiss,hug and pet him in a space of 30 seconds. Rescues are such a blessing.

*3 kittens were thrown in a bag on the side of the road, we took them home, “They are only 3 weeks old, dehydrated and starved. No milk for days. They are so weak they will most likley not make it” the vet said. We would not give up tho now we have 3 healthy kittens being crazy around the house spoiled at heck*

People who abandon their pets have no heart. They should at least send them to a shelter where they will be safe, instead of leaving them to die. Abandoning is what I call pure evil.

They do such because of a traumatic experience or something. I almost died because of a cat, a cat frees some "air" that if you breath you can have serious problems. I breathe in one of those "air" and got bronchitis with pneumonia and stayed 11 days almost dead at the hospital. A simple cat I treated so well with love and affection caused me to almost die. I still like cats, but the things one did to me weren't cool.
I know a lot of people who hate cats and i just do not get how someone can not love a cat

the pictures of the black cats made me cry. this is why
when my mum was picking me up from school one day my dad called and said we had and emergency. he wouldnt tall my mum what it was. when we got home and walking in the door our little black cat chihiro was lying on the ground purring. i gave her a pat on her head, thinking she was fine and she looked at me. then she tried to crawl foreward and she meowed on pain. the way she meowed and looked at me made me cry. my mum called the vet and took her. after about an hour she came back home but with out our cat. she said we were going back to say goodbye to her. i thought we were saying goodbye because she was going in to surgery. when we got there i asked what is happening to her and she said her chances of her surviving surgery were very slim, so we are going to put her down. when she said that i burst into tears because i really loved her for the 1 year, 1 month and 4 days we had her for.

My cat was a skinny runt that was in a shelter he had fleas parasites and my family didn't really like him. Now he is big fat and mischievous and likes to lounge by the fire place with my mom and sometimes when we eat dinner my dad picks him up puts him on his lap and he,'ll sit there smiling and showing off his Orange belly he's also my picture lol

This is so heartwarming, most people just adopt cats because they are cute. Especially the people that adopt older cats, they often don’t live as long and aren’t as cute so they aren’t adopted as much, but looks aren’t everything.
To all the people who want to help the stray, you a kind and would never want to hurt anyone else♥️.To all the people who would walk something in need of help you are selfish and mean,you will never find true friends 😤😤

Seeing how they suffered sick and hurting to being loved happy and healthy both breaks and warms my heart. I’m sorry Spooky passed but at least they knew that they were loved. It hurts when you lose one. Whether you took them in to foster when you find them on the street when you adopt from the shelter. Whether they’re a day old or 10+ years old. Whether they are blind or deaf or paralyzed missing an eye an ear a tail a limb. They deserve a chance to be loved.
Thank you, amazing people, for giving those beautiful angels a chance in life and a home where it is filled with warmth, love, and comfort.

My mum went to Sicilia in 2002. She found two five-day old cats and took them home. Their names were Cato and Cassie. Cato was hit by a car one year later, I didn't even know him. Well, in 2007 when I was born, Cassie was five years old. She was the most special cat I've ever met. She had her own rules we had to accept. To me Cassie was a human who wasn't able to talk like we did. But we could totally communicate with her. When she died in 2017, we buried her in our garden. Some time later, we got two wonderful cats from the animal shelter. Their names are Kija and Nicki. We love them very much, but we won't forget about Cassie. Each cat you have is a wonderful, unique, characterful creature that gives you love.

On Valentine’s Day of 2007 my dads coworker had a kitten living in her garage. She couldn’t take care of him so my dad sent a pic of him to my mom. Her reaction was “ bring him home” it has been 13 years since and he is the sweetest and fattest cat you could ever ask for. We love you Jasper.
Thanks for posting number 20 i have never had one go early unfortunately but its life and im glad spooky met someone who loved them enough to cry for them.
In May 2020, we adopted a stray Calico cat. The cat was born on a farm. She got effected by a few diseases and her parents left her. The farmer gave the cat to one of my dad's friends. But, since my dad's friend already had lots of cats, my dad's friend gave her to our family. When we got her, she was looking normal at first, but then her eyes started going yuck and there was black stuff inside her ears. We got a vet, we paid for the medicine and now she was happier than ever and she still is our wonderful, cute playful cat.
Her name is Zelda, around 8 months old as I'm typing this, and she is the best kitten I've ever had. God bless her

I don’t know why anyone would want to abandon some poor helpless cats. They will most likely starve and there isn’t enough good people around the world who will take them in. My two cats are the best things that ever happened to my life and I would never dream of abandoning them. If I couldn’t take care of them I would at least bring them to a shelter of another family member. 💗🐱

My dad and mom found a cat near the sewers when it was raining there was twi but one ran off before we could get him, so we took care of him until we found him a home. I will never forget.

In 2003 our cat was found in a bin on Fuerteventura. She got flown to Germany where we adopted her. When starting out she was malnutritioned and had almost no fur. She passed away at the age of 16 with one kidney left. She had an impossibly long life that I'm thankful for.

We built a little home for him in a window until we found an appropiate owner.
He's now a big boy, living happily with his new human.

My aunt has 3 cats. One they got from the shelter, he was treated well there. One, she found in a plastic bag in a bin. The third, she found in the engine of her car. All three are gorgeous and healthy and I love them so much
How we got our cat is boring but different from most others. My dad's boss' cat gave birth to two kittens and we got one of them. She's very sweet, and is exactly three years younger than one of my friends' cats, as they have the same birthday! Captain (my cat) also knows a few simple commands (for those who thought cats to be untrainable, you are very wrong! She knows 'sit', 'stay', 'come' and 'paw'!)
Not only are cats very resilient, but they've taught me about my own ability to bounce back.
My first pet cat was a complete accident... I was five-years-old and playing outside with my younger sister when we heard a trash can meowing. Nonna scooped out this orange heap of bones and we instantly got attached. She couldn't keep him because she was already at her pet limit and she was getting up there in age so we begged our mom. Tigger lived a good 14yrs after that, plump and always ready to cuddle. We think he was 3yrs when we found him, vet said at least 2yrs.

We found my cat on the side of the road, only about a few days old and starving. His mother was run over by a car, and he was the last left of a litter of kittens. Now he is 15 years old and recently had a surgery to remove a cancerous lump from his neck. He is so affectionate and kind now, and is doing well.

At my house, we heard meows under the house. We found a red and white cat with one blind, scraped eye. Her fur and herself just looked horrible. My aunt heard about this, drove over, and took her to her house. She fed the cat and named her Myra (Mai-rah). Months later, after good care and treatment, she is looking just fine and grew up to be a feisty but loving cat. She's so adorable 💞💗💖

I adopted an all black kitten(Onix) , as soon as I took him home he suddenly started to get sick, sneeze, breathe loud, throw up. I immediately took him to the vet the same day, found out he was extremely underweight and was at risk for heartworms. Now he's the softest, cutest, 8lb thing I've ever know 😍
