What a time capsule. Perfectly at the precipice between what we now know as The Beforetimes and Literal Hell. I'm enraptured, even moreso than a normal GVLOG.
Oh, yeah. This was the day of checking every hour to see what was cancelled now. I was at the Improv Post Mortem panel, and the laugh for the GDC joke definitely had a 'haha but also oh no are we making a mistake?' feel to it.
My partner and I brought the Moxie! OMG watching this makes me miss the convention scene so much! I was looking forward to seeing folks in Philly in November :(

Not really before covid, but before the US started to "worry" about it. I wouldn't be surprised if there were sick people there and even it what Graham had was a minor flu, talking over an open container of liquid, Ben drinking a stranger's coffee and stuff like that should never have happened. Hopefully it'll teach people to be more careful with diseases in general....
@@BengineeringTV The reason they don't is that a huge part of their branding is based on how fast they can get a custom-made sandwich into your hands; if they toasted the bread, they'd not be able to do so nearly as quickly. This was the last couple days of February. At the time, everyone thought the virus was spread primarily through infected surfaces. That meant that 'being careful' had nothing to do with masks - it meant washing your hands regularly and thoroughly, and remembering not to touch your face, and being careful about touching things other people had touched. Most folks at PAX were doing those things - the staff had dispensers of hand sanitizer positioned at every escalator and most of the doors to the expo hall, and people used them.
I love that sick Graham voice is pretty much just Gibb.
I was thinking the Chuffield scientist who's in Nsburg for the flushing of the Culvergrid.
Just wanted to say i adore your vlogs, you seem like such a genuine and lovely person and i enjoy everything you do!
