Tips for beginners. When u raid other npc village make sure to keep an eye open on "blue barrel"
Those barrel can be destroyed with dynamite or "rare" pickaxe and it drop 4 copper ore :D

this gamemode is straight-up more fun than the actual game! I hope we eventually get an offline option cause that's really my only gripe with it.

i have a tip to add to this! how to get tons of crops easily! turns out theres a bug in the game that allows you to instantly harvest a planted crop. when you break a seed in a plot, you'd expect it to just break or at most give you the seed back, but this isnt the case! if you break a freshly planted seed, it'll give you the full plant as if you had waited for it to fully grow! just put a stack of seeds in a farm plot and then just attack the freshly planted seed with an uncommon sword and you'll quickly get 50 vines and 50 of whatever plant you wanted! its still working as of today!
Let them learn this themself before it get patch

"Find a flat area to start building your town." This is why so many cities in America are so boring-looking. I intentionally looked for a sloped area, and built my town on top of a hill overlooking the ocean.

When you 1st spawn in Do not set up your village right away. Gather enough wood to build a stairway to heaven to help you locate each bio dome, either frostlands or dry lands. Try to set up in between grasslands and desert. Also when exploring and you find a trail, follow it will help you later on.
This but don't build up it's a waste of time and effort run until you hit desert spamming sprint and pick up keep frostlands on the edge of render distance by the time you hit desert typically with 5-7 attacks of wood & granite

Today, it didn't work for me. Instead, I recommend the "Rollers", lure them to nearby trees or rocks and the Rollers should damage the trees and rocks which drops the materials! Just be careful :)
Been playing this a ton, and the prefab/blueprint building system is absolutely amazing.
Can make huge, beautiful structures without having to actually design it or be an architect 😅
Only problem Ive got is at night my village gets full of bones lying around from villagers killing Skellies and bones are mostly useless.

They should add stats to the player character and for villagers. Either that or gear/equipment based bonuses, although some kind of traits levelling system would also be nice. Example giving faster health or stamina regen, faster and stronger attacks, or double jumps, larger carry capacity, etc etc.
I just started playing it. I thought about a backpack upgrade or something, that would allow more than just 24 slots. Because when you're off exploring, finding a bunch of shit and gathering basic materials, those 24 slots add up QUICK. It'd be nice to not have to spend resources on chests, or end up having to leave a bunch of stuff IN a chest somewhere far away from your village.
Not going to lie, this game made me like survival games. I chase those dragon type monsters and man I like to taunt em, haha and then those stone roller hermit crabs are on another level. Haha
Use a shield and let them roll into it, then they will flip on their back and you do tons of damage to them. Super easy
I trained my mechs on fortnite for 1 year and dude am I burnt the f out, had such a blast in LEGO mode today chilling lol
I hate fortnite, but after seeing this. This game type looks fun.
Crazy part is this is the original formula I purchased it when it was released and it bombed, so they had to repurpose the game thus came Royale and I walked away. Now that they've earned millions and world recognition over the years why not repurpose it and it actually worked

@@kofing123 you’re wrong. LEGO Fortnite is NOT the original Fortnite, Save The World is. It was a fort building zombie survival game. I bought it in early access and it was a blast. I hope they bring it back. Lego Fortnite is similar but not the same
@@disturbedpyro4511I agree I don’t think they’re similar enough to really compare the two. I’ve described Lego Fortnite to my friends that haven’t played as a competitor to Minecraft and I really think it’s a lot better.

If you need flex wood or copper bars early game pick up those stupid crates that you can only pick up and throw them up in the air twice and they’ll bust open with a decent amount of both

Oh how misleading you were to say don’t change the settings😂 unlimited stamina, keeping inventory, and no temperature is honestly the best way to go. Also making sure pets respawn when they die is a good setting aswell. Rip OG worlds

I wish they would make a fix that deleted/removed all the loot that is just lying around.. such as the bones and broken tools that the skeletons drop. I’m really missing a ‘destroy’ option or something
Bit late; maybe you've figured it out by now, but have you tried dropping your junk onto a campfire? It burns up and is destroyed after about a solid 30 seconds to a minute.

4:00 Thanks so much! I took this a step further... For the second layer, instead of another large rectangular foundation, I made two parallel pieces of long and thin foundations, then on top of that I made another pair in opposite directions, like Lincoln logs style, then finally I put chests on top. Wa-laa - a portable expanded inventory! And you can push/steer it from inside. Admittedly, it's a bit hard to get uphill with just one person, but it's really great on flatland or in a valley. It unfortunately also doesn't trample shrubs into materials, but at least glitches through them instead of getting stuck in the way. I tried putting a marker on it, but it went right to the ground as soon as the platform moved. That being said, I highly recommend making a marker - at the mere cost of 2 granite - wherever you park the thing so that you can actually find it after wandering away from it on a looting spree!
Do things like trees grow back after being cut down?
Yes
5 months late but only the slim trees grow back. The big trees do not respawn.

How do i finish building the shack because i didnt get the different things
Blast Cores are a bi- -h to hunt down. Best method I have found is to find a cave with two entrances, and several spawns for the critters (bare in mind the ones from outside the desert can spawn in, the ones that give the blue Sand Shells)
Run through, ignore what skeletons you can, hit the spawns, leave through the second exit. Exit the game, turn around and go back through again (enemies will reset, which is why I caution not to get bogged down on all the skeletons.
Be careful, their strategy is to close the gap and explode, but so long as you survive they'll still drop the item
Don't let them explode like total noobs, run right up to them conk them twice with a pick then 3-hit sword combo they cannot explode

Also why doesn’t it show the upgrade option on a craft bench for me? I had all the needed items to upgrade it in my inventory and it still didn’t show the option

"First things first" should explain how to change your character before you even start to play.
You change it in your Fortnite inventory? Some skins don’t come with the Lego version so you have to work with what you got.

My village says village is fully upgraded at level 4. There is no rating bar and no other levels.. literally says 1-4. I created a new world hoping this helps but still don’t see any rating :( hell?
You have to create another village. I created one close to the original one.
Funny, I typed random numbers into the seed option and got a whole village and car automatically.

You can put it anywhere
Says to leave all initial settings to "Play the game as intended" then proceeds to show the foundation push farming cheese and the chest cheese (at least they noted that this one doesn't work anymore).

They are timed activities so you can be maximizing your output or be making different things at the same time. Basically to save time

Fortnite lego is waay to slow and annoying, you need frozen berries in order to go to the hot dessert to mine ore but to get the frosen berries you need hot chili to be able to stay in the frozen area. So it’s a catch 22.
