The biggest tip for starting out is to go near the cold area and farm snowberries and then make your first base right at the edge of the desert. This will allow you to have snow berry juice early to survive the desert caves because that is where you will need to go first, also by starting your first village at Desert, the NPC’s in your camp will kill the skeletons and the ones near deserts with the cowboy hat drops blast powder so you will constantly have blast powders laying all around your camp from NPC is killing them. I get 10 a day.
making your first base right at edge of desert is only good idea if you have a grassland cave nearby, otherwise i'd say to build somewhere in the middle between the cave and desert. you will need to get knotwood and marble from the grass caves even in late game. what do you like to use blast powder for though? i have about a stack but have barely touched it
@@yungbroc are used to make grapplers and thrusters because the map is so huge. I haven’t even gotten close to unlocking all of it plus there are so many islands on the backside of desert so I made a boat. I’m hoping there’s water all around the map so I can travel around that way.
This is so funny cause im playing lego fortnite rn with no idea how to play it but i actually farmed snow berries at the start and now i have a base in the edge of a dessert/green land 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I did this without knowing either

For my first caves, i gave my follower a torch to light up everything, then i built a workbench lvl2, a wood cutter, a grill, and a few wooden chests right by the entrance. You can get the resources for all of these plus the green sword, axe, and pickaxe within the cave. Also i built campfires to navigate. Put them on the left as you explore deeper then to get back follow them on your right
Small tip to add for knew players. Petting the animals will give you items, that’s the easiest way but animals also have a preference of food that will make them drop more. Cows like Mushrooms and will drop 3 milk instead of 1 of you drop a mushroom in front of them. Chickens like corn.
I wish they had a durability on and off option when creating your world , I know you can put a durability enchantments on tools and weapons, but that's like mid too end game, and then you wouldn't have too do the breaking chest exploit too fix stuff 😅 Or even a option too repair would be nice 👌

So many good tips! Wish I would have seen this when I started cuz I was so lost and never played anything Fortnite. Even after playing for a few days now this video still provided good tips I didnt know. Thanks !
Not a bad strategy, but since I tend to venture really deep into caves, I bring a ton of wood (80-100) and granite (30-60) so I can build campfires and small floors in every area I had "touched", so far I had went into grassland cave, desert cave and snow cave, never got lost yet. Campfires gives bright enough light to every corner so I can see where that path leads to before I go close to it. So my strat now for any cave is to just bring lots of wood & granite, I make small granite foundations beside the campfire to "point" out the path to initial entry point
Great video! The helper isn’t the girl from the Lego movie (wild style) I thought that too, she’s actually the fortnite girl with the lama on her shirt. Can’t remember her name from fortnite but she does look like the Lego movie girl. 😁👍🏼
I'm at the beginning of the video, and just a quick tip: If you turn off any of the settings prior to creating the world, you won't accomplish the Lego Fortnite quests.
1 tip i'll add is that you can feed the animals things to have them drop. If you drop a 30 stack of vines in front of a cow they will drop you 3-6 milks. I like vines because they are easy to gather and you can do it while you are looking for the animals in the wild. However you can use any food, raspberries are another good choice as they are easy to gather. if you can lurer an animal close to your base you can fence them in and just keep feeding them. Best way to farm milk, wool, eggs.
Yeah too bad the game despawns them if you go to far or leave the game, which is a massive oversight considering the lego lobby screen literally has a fenced up cow implying that you can keep animals

big tip: save a bunch of wool and silk early game, build the spinner wheel, then loom (you need blue axe), then craft a glider ASAP. its a game changer for travelling/exploring and stays with you upon death. also, keep about 10-30 wood on you at all times for making beds (if you need to recover backpack), or for building stairs so you can reach stuff like knotwood in caves, amber ore in the desert, etc. keeping wood on you gets even more helpful once you own the glider since you can basically make a "launch pad" out of the stairs.
This game ended up becoming a great time sink. I have spent several hours wandering around and it feels like I did nothing, yet I was engaged the whole time. Kind of like Death Stranding. Moving resources from one place to another.

Something I keep trying to find the answers to but haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere is that the requirements to upgrade your village depend on the biome the village is in. Upgrading your village in a dry mesa biome uses different materials than a village in a grasslands biome.
That's true, I never even considered the possibility of building a village in a biome other than grasslands, since we all start in the grasslands first to have something to rely on before venturing out far
@@verylate3881 definable do it, you get different building recipes in different biomes, desert gives the castle pieces whereas ice lands give the shogun pieces
Good tip I've seen is use the shield to block attacks from rollers and then easy to kill them, use a crossbow to weaken wolves from a distance, also an arrow can be retrieved if the shot was missed
Palm trees is a beach not a desert, cacti and succulents is a desert. Also punch things to break them you actually do more damage with your fists than tools. Awesome video ❤
Tip that will probably get patched: build a big square foundation, then put the same size one on top but back one row, then put a little square on top in the back center, then break the bottom foundation. Now, you can move this combined object around to break small and medium sized trees and rocks.
Everything respawns daily (except in caves), so you can pet chickens, cows, sheep, get that gift, then kill them for the meat, and they'll be back next day for more! Also, don't build on spots where you chopped trees down... the trees will respawn right through your building... lol
The chest bug has been patched out already. My brother and I tried it the other day and it doesn't work anymore. Also tool durability is garbage, so I'd recommend farming a bunch of rough amber and Marble Slabs to upgrade your tools with Unbreaking in the essence table to slow that process down considerably. Damage is alright, but with a villager or two tagging along (in my 2 person group at least), damage isn't all that big of a deal. Brutes go down fairly easily and if you give your villagers better tools they actually get use out of them. If you chop down a cactus or Knotroot without an upgraded axe for your villagers tagging along, they've actively just sit by while you do the work because they physically can't help, same goes for weapons really, though they will always fight even if unarmed.
Just so you know if you have to deal with rollers and you don't have a sword or ax but you do have a pickaxe, the pickaxe works well against rollers.... normally just to spider or wolves the pickaxe only does one damage but to rollers the pickaxe does the same damage as what it does while mining rocks.
You can use rollers to farm higher materials early like pine trees in the snow or cactuses in the dessert. Just get them to roll into the material by standing next to it then dodge.
Tip for caves: bring wood and build campfires to light up every nook and cranny, Campfires remain in the cave forever, even if you leave and come back. and build stairs to reach high up mats. A lot of the knott root in the caves are hidden in the dark.
1. Find a seed with nearby desert and ice biome 2. Upgrade your town to get more buildings and Hirelings. 3. Command a hireling to party with you, and give them an Axe and Pickaxe. 4. You can feed sheep, cows, and chickens food and they will drop extra resources. 5. When building, make sure you can use auto Snap to build neatly 6. Restore an items durability using chests (glitch)
NGL, the only reason I started playing Lego was to see if I could gain passive Battle Pass XP. I have a hard time keeping up with my kids unless do XP maps every so often. I didn’t not expect that it would be a survival game that seems like a lot of fun to play. I’ve played it quite a bit at this point but mostly creative. My one survival world has mainly been a crazy amount of exploring. I’ve only got the village to lv2. I built a bunch of useful stuff before I even bother with the village. Thanks for the video. Lol I had no idea I could pet the animals, other than the lama. Don’t kill the lama, you get nothing. Also I don’t have a desert anywhere near me. Might want to completely rethink my world. Lego and the racing are pretty big wins for me, in this season. I haven’t played one BR match and I’m lv 40 in the battle pass already. I do hope they continue to support these game modes. FYI. The rollers can help you farm granite and wood if you can dodge the rolling attack and make them run into the trees or boulders.
I use the brutes lol. Highly dangerous. But got tons of resources
Rollers die in water if they roll into it 😂
Just got patched chest hack
Lego survival ascended. The destiny 2 killer 😂
Good tip I've seen is use the shield to block attacks from rollers and then easy to kill them, use a crossbow to weaken wolves from a distance, also an arrow can be retrieved if the shot was missed
That upside down crit is nice
Palm trees is a beach not a desert, cacti and succulents is a desert. Also punch things to break them you actually do more damage with your fists than tools. Awesome video ❤
THANK YOU! for mentioning its a beach not a desert 😅.
Yes, you can skip the night. You just need to leave the game, when you load back in it will be the morning
Aha! BRILLAINT
Tip that will probably get patched: build a big square foundation, then put the same size one on top but back one row, then put a little square on top in the back center, then break the bottom foundation. Now, you can move this combined object around to break small and medium sized trees and rocks.
It hasn't been patched as of January 11, 2023
@jorgechavez7211, do you mean 2024?
Everything respawns daily (except in caves), so you can pet chickens, cows, sheep, get that gift, then kill them for the meat, and they'll be back next day for more! Also, don't build on spots where you chopped trees down... the trees will respawn right through your building... lol
FYI Beds are also the BEST WAY to level your village. Build like 15 beds and youll get levelled huge chunks toward your village
Thanks for the tips!
Lumber mill is better. Only need 4 to level up 1 level and they are cheap mats
Another tip: Rolling logs or boulders into materials you cant harvest yet will allow you to break and harvest them! (or blowing them up works)
What seed did u have in the world u were early in the location part of the vid
This is lik da upgraded version of Minecraft
Fr
Wish i knew about the world options. Im way too invested now to start a new world with no stanima bar
E: I never thought I’d play this
Me: honestly me either.. but Lego!
If you have a shield and a roller comes at you rolling... block it... it flips them on their backs... makes them easy soft targets to beat up
If you run into any sand rollers on the beach you can easily kill them by making them roll into the water.
@@C-Rage oh yeah I kinda forgot about that when I was commenting.
@@jadedsilverwolf that's nice to know.
1. Find a seed with nearby desert and ice biome
2. Upgrade your town to get more buildings and Hirelings.
3. Command a hireling to party with you, and give them an Axe and Pickaxe.
4. You can feed sheep, cows, and chickens food and they will drop extra resources.
5. When building, make sure you can use auto Snap to build neatly
I have enjoyed them.
What was the seed you were playing in the beginning of the video?
