The art of the chopper in it's PURIST form. All the shitshow that's on TV these days isn't real choppers. Sports bikes with apes pretty much. This is where it's at.

Thanks for sharing all the history of the bikes. I had a 1956 panhead 74 inch topend on 1948 rigid frame chopped with a 16 over wide glide. Also was on 61 inch EL cases. cost me $ 800 and spent $ 500 chroming and rebuilding. Brings back great memories.

I’d love to see who bought this bike and where it’s at now and what the new owner has done with it. That bike is so bad ass!

Would be cool if you posted a video of some pictures from the old days of all the bikes you had that we haven't seen. From the 80s-90s.

I don't understand why people chopped of the sidecar loops, those frames look 100000x's better with all the original tabs brackets and loops

how much did you end up selling this gorgeous chopper for in the end.....id love to cruise around on a bike like this one...you see choppers being created on shows like OCC...and the theme bike stuff and the bikes are nice dont get me wrong but im not into all that OTT look...tons of chrome, gigantic rear tyre and super low and long so the rider is almost lying on their front when riding....the bike in this clip tho is old and worn and most definitely well used and yet despite those negative attributes///////////////////in my opinion its design, its stance not to mention those handlebars that look as tho they were made to be on that bike and no other....its extremely pretty thing...if i were the lucky owner of this bike i wouldnt part company with it while i remained living...

I remember watching the video when you bought this!
Its too bad you never got it running; was there a specific reason?

    • @HuntingHarleys

lack of mechanic's doing what I paid them to do, too busy stealing parts and doing shabby work. I am moving to PA. Done with the jealousy and greed of the California people. However, to move, I need to sell a few bikes

HuntingHarleys Thats too bad, It would have been great seeing this bike ride up and down the street.
I'll be in MA in the near future, maybe I'll see ya at a bike show!
Whats still wrong with the bike? I noticed the missing carburetor and ignition coil

***** I have never tried to start it. What I personally like to do with a bike like this is pull it all the way down, THEN you know what you have and it is a good machine. However, a carb, tune, and gas and it "should" run. The question of course is how reliable. That one never knows.

Cant believe my ex wife sold my 36 (36 EL 1980) FOR $3000 while I was in prison...She forged my name on the title and once i found out it was gone it had been gone for 2 years.

so sad, someone in your house who is not trust worthy can really fuck you over. Bike is worth anywhere from 50 to 200k today.
