Sir / Madan, I am thinking about doing a Ct Coronary angiography ( Scan ) for my mother. She has never done it before. But I am still very worried.
While doing it will enable me to understand the blockage percentage but i don't want any negative side effects ( Cancer etc ) .

CT can be done with or without contrast, but it is often not needed.
If patient is the at risk of a potential allergic reaction, normally CT scan without contrast is suggested.
