These luxury vans / MPV are dope and baller. In parts of Asia, this is used for: - wealthy families - VIP transport for airport travelers - VIP transport for high-roller casino gamblers (e.g. Philippines, Macau)
At 150 000 euro, I can certainly say this is not for me but I have been eyeing the Hyundai Staria and it has some nice features for about 60 000 euro. Now, that's a lot of money for me but, on the used market, might be an option one day. There is one available used from 2022 for 38500 euro so we're getting there. For now, I am happy just to look for them in videos. And yes, you can buy a 3 bedroom appartment in my city for 150 000 euro.
Lexus cars all have incredibly ugly front ends due to the grille, this just magnifies the effect exponentially. Looking at the low edges all I can think about coming from the UK, is how quickly they will get scraped by the deliberate road hazards.
A limo-styled people-mover that doesn't even fit 5? Yeeeeeah, hard pass on this. Seems like SUCH a waste of space, this does - I'm sure it could've been to accommodate five people with 90% of the comfort and probably the same-ish exterior size... I don't know - looks amazing, and has so many bells and whistles, and yet - the 4-person-fit is an absolute deal-breaker for me. Moving 4 people with the same comfort and style is already done in more beautiful packages/form factors, and this just looks like an odd player in that space. It's entirely out of line for the people-mover category, too, and the category it has set for its self is definitely not up to my taste.
@@siddharthgoyal4008 You must not be a very keen-eye car enthusiast, my friend. There are a number of cars on the road that do that, with Bentley having a solid foothold in that category, PLUS I didn't fail to mention this specific benefit and how - for me personally - it doesn't compensate the drawbacks (in my taste/needs) this comes at the cost of. Regardless - it's just my opinion based on what I would be looking for. You don't have to agree OR disagree - we all use our cars as we see fit/we want.
@@MarekDrivesENG Yup, I saw that - I saw the seats (nothing first-class about them) and the trunk space that's left is... well - it has the same problems other 7-seaters have, so it's definitely not ground-breaking on that front. As mentioned - it doesn't tickle my fancies, and it really doesn't leave me with the impression of something... revolutionary or even evolutionary, to be frank. Same give and takes as other 7-seaters in this form factor, plus more benefits that come with different drawbacks... definitely not a "masterclass" in anything - not in my book, at least. I am, however, suffering from chronical frustration over the design decisions in the car industry's last 20 years or so, so... definitely not objective/heavily biased here (subjective tastes aside).
Actually I've seen some very "greenhousy" hearses in Portugal. If this was a bit longer, it'd be great. Also in hybrid mode no fumes for the mourners to breathe in :)
@@MarekDrivesENG Great idea. Battery driven, remote controlled hearse slowly rolling into an underground incinerator with 3 black drones flying stately on each side releasing pink confetti as a last Good Bye. Hey Lexus, get Your little head around that idea, no?😎
You've sent me down a funeral/drone rabbit hole. Google it, and you'll find funeral photo and video services, as well as scattering of ashes from drones. This is something I didn't need to know, but now you know too, so it's on you :)
The minivan is truly the KING of cars!!! Minivan > SUV Black Car all day and twice on Sunday. Please 🙏🏽 send this to the U.S.!!!
"Luxury minivan are rare breed"
Oh my dear, come to South East Asia, rich people and state officials use them regularly
Never been to South East Asia, but thanks for the tip.

I absolutely f'in LOVE IT ❤😍
Did you sing Baby you can drive my car, yes I'm going to be a star? 😂 This was a VIP review! Thanks Marek!
At my age when you have a seat like this, you take a nap! :)
@@MarekDrivesENG haha
Great review, as always. I guess the van is aerodynamic but the nose reminds me of the cow-catchers on steam train engines of yore.
Indeed, it has that vibe :)
Nice bus, Marek. But keeping those wheels clean and shiny would be a bit of a b*ll buster !
I'd have my driver clean them daily :)
Mercedes V Class looks agricultural compared to this 😮

Not impressed at all, the styling is unattractive and many shortcomings inside. The price and EUR 147K, you got to be joking!!!!
Toyota Alphard is the cheaper model

You can order a 7-seater as well.
The 4 seater version has literal first class airplane seats. No other car in world has that.

A motorised coffin with windows and a wheel at each corner. A very pricey and acquired taste. - No corpse deep freezing ?
