It's was an honor to be allowed to film over such a historic place like Masada! Flying solo operating the drone and the camera was a challenge in the wind but it really paid off! I’m grateful to the Israeli Nation Parks Service for the opportunity to film over some of Israel’s most precious archaeological treasures!
    SCRIPT:
Masada… is a symbol of the last stand of Jewish patriots in the face of the Roman army in 73 C.E. For nearly two years, the Jewish rebels successfully defied the power of Rome from atop this natural fortress. Thirteen-hundred feet above the Judean desert, etched by history and time, this rugged natural fortress was constructed by King Herod the Great as a palace complex to be a virtually impenetrable stronghold. It was able to store years worth of food & supplies. Rain water from nearby canyons was collected by miles of aqueducts and stored in massive cisterns capable of holding ten million gallons. During the Jewish Revolt in 66 C.E., Zealots managed to capture the fortress. A few years later, after Jerusalem was burned by the Romans, Masada became a refuge for the last survivors of the Revolt. The Romans soon surrounded Masada and built a massive siege ramp that eventually broke through the defending walls, capturing the fortress and ending the Revolt. Today, Masada is a symbol of Jewish perseverance and determination to be free.

I think this ramp supports the possibility a single ramp was used for the building of Kufu's pyramid.

Outstanding all the way around; from the incredible difficulties, challenges and talent of the Drone photography, to the power, cadence and perfect pitched delivery of the Narration, this is 2:00 Minutes of New Media cutting edge perfection.
