As gardeners and plant enthusiasts, we take great pleasure in watching plants get bigger. So it cuts against the grain to deliberately make a plant smaller. But to make them thrive you have to bust them up, make them small, and repot in fresh medium. For life to thrive, the cycle must be renewed!
I hang most of my orchids under shade cloth in the summer so I use hangers too. I use Aluminum wire now so I don't have to replace the hangers. Also I just marked all of my pots fronts for when they go back outside after you talked about roots growing away from the light. Thanks for that.
