Hi D, I'm from Bogota, Colombia. I grew up listening songs like this from Soda Stereo and another Latin American bands for my whole life. Now I'm 46 years and still I love this music and every day I love more and more Soda Stereo.
Friend D!!! That was the last night of Soda Stereo, they started the tour in Buenos Aires with 5 shows, then continued through different countries, and returned to Buenos Aires to close the tour playing a sixth time. I was lucky to be there the second and last night. I've seen bands that I love like The Cure or Red Hot Chili Peppers, but I would go back a thousand times to see Soda live, these videos give me a mixture of melancholy and joy, because I can't repeat the experience but every time I I see, I feel more fortunate to have been 10 meters ahead of Gustavo watching him play and sing. 😪😌🤗 🙂 Here are the lyrics of Sueles Dejarme Solo (Usually leave me Alone): Baby I'll never be a superman you usually leave me alone I am opening the game an electric game you usually leave me alone Ay ay ay (Unanswered) Risk is the road and it's so intense you usually leave me alone Outside the cold attacks Dresses? Inside the vertigo you usually leave me alone Ay ay ay Baby I'll never be a superman, oh you usually leave me alone
Me encantan tus reacciones amigo!!
Hi D! Love your reactions, they're really funny. I think that the guitar destruction represents the frustration and angryness of somebody who has been left by her/him beloved. The lyrics say "you usually leave me alone and without answers"
Gracias por tu reacción! Verte disfrutando el show me emociona...
hello. as you say...it is impotence and pain that Gustavo left us...he was a prodigy...complete...a whole...he was the one who made 99% of the musical arrangements and put everything together in his own way of singing and crazy I had nothing. In this matter, as in the others, everything was thought out and the 3 always sought perfection and there was Cerati. Someone a bit underrated and somewhat ahead of his time. I respected musicians like Spineta whose lyrics were poems... maybe I didn't have the musical part of Cerati. Gustavo is getting bigger and bigger. I saw them live in the front row in 1988, when they released their best album... city of the furies... all the songs one better than another... in studio recording some did not have as much reach to the people but these guys... people they were enhanced live they were magical.
Hi D, I love your reactions man!!...I recuest you return to SODA STEREO MTV UNPLUGGED, there is many good songs. You can try with "paseando por Roma" or "ella usó mi cabeza como un revolver" or "entre caníbales", tus songs gonna blow your mind Buddy. Take care!
Hi D ! Gustavo broke his guitar every time he played that song throughout his tour "Me Verás Volver 2007", meaning he broke it many, many times. Here's a funny talk between Gustavo and his band about this after a concert. You can activate the subtitles in English. Take care, peace up, saludos! ua-cam.com/video/XD0_IIfKSgQ/v-deo.html&ab_channel=NahuelCabrera
You are lucky in something that we no longer have, which is that you have to know the entire discography of soda stereo and Gustavo Cerati ahead and discover true musical works and marvel at the songs that we have already known for 20, 30 years. I envy you may be hearing all those songs for the first time.
Man, react to something of Soda in the eighties! for example: Soda Stereo - Afrodisiacos live in Obras 86.. or live in Viña del Mar 1987.. YOU LIKE IT!
hello D, for the next time do a reaction of the song...."La cúpula", It's an old song from the mid-80s, Carlos Alomar (he's an excellent guitarist) is a guest on that song, he's lead guitar. your reactions are the best
I just wanted to suggest reacting to "The Warning". it's a power trio from México, they are all sisters and they are great! They have a few songs in Spanish but sing mostly in English. I'm sending a link of one of their original songs called "Survive" played in a TedX talk in Nevada a few years ago. I consider this song as one of the best to be introduced to the band because at that time they were not as big as they are now but they were already as great. You can already see how professional they were at such young age (11 to 17 years old I believe at the time of this video). I can say with confidence that it takes just one song to fall in love with them! ua-cam.com/video/E62SVvLw9FI/v-deo.html
Recently an abomination was spawned upon us mortals when Bosio and Alberti decided to tour again under the name "Soda Stereo" with a revolving set of vocalists. I stayed away. Yet, this "tour" produced a version of "Remolinos" with Robbie Draco Rosa (yeah, him) on vocals, and featuring Soda old hands Von Quintero and Richard Coleman. It's intriguing. It might interest you. Baby I'll never be a superman

Risk is the road and it's so intense

You have to react "Picnic en el 4to B (Gira me verás volver). Also "Lo que sangra (La cúpula)" in the same concert. You will enjoy it!
