Lucky Surfer Has Lineup To Himself (Opening Scene) - Uluwatu

The crowd thins out dramatically on bigger days at Uluwatu, but even then there's usually a hardy bunch of surfers chasing the solid stuff. But the guy at the start of this video found a whole section of reef to himself ...for a little while at least.
People did eventually show up, but it was a trickle rather than a flood of surfers paddling out on one of the bigger days that we've seen, back in September.

He may not have the skills of the levels you may possess, or that you may be expecting to see on youtube, but he's exactly what and who surfing has always been about. The zen environment, being at one with the universe, and having the best moments of your life in the water. Whats more acomplished than that?
