I have been watching many outside tub videos recently! My only concern is being in florida, our summer temperature "feels like" ranges from 95 to 110°... And oddly enough not one video has yet addressed that extreme summer heat. Which keeps me really perplexed. I have a screened porch that is shaded 100% of the time. I have multiple fans that could blow right over the tubs. I have multiple pond pumps and aerators and air stones for water circulation. What else would I need?

I don’t have experience with such high temperatures. An air stone or small filter would really help, I think, as warm water doesn’t hold as much oxygen as cool water does. If the porch is screened in, you would need to feed the fish-you couldn’t count on insect larvae to feed them. And, I think, at least 50 gallon capacity, to guard against extreme temperature shifts between night and day.

Could you breed catfish in a bathtub if the lights went out?

      I don’t know.

I suppose it depends on the catfish. The answer is, I don’t know fish may need a cycle of daylight in order to breed.
