I want to look in the future and listen to this and thinking "woah this album reminds me of when things weren't so good." I want to be okay in the future to look back at this and be happy that things are okay and will be okay... I love bo en so much...
Yeah, I can imagine a lot of the lyrics as reflecting the characters. Mainly HERO and SUNNY, but the themes of loss and escapism/denial just fit the game
this feels like someone going through their day to me miss you: waking up/ morning be okay: lunch/walk in the park/ noon everyday: lying around randomly/chatting/ afternoon friend: thinking/dinner/ evening winter valentine: drawing/doing homework/ night pale machine: sleeping/dreaming/ midnight my time: slowly waking up from dream/ dawn
I really love this genre of music. The almost cosmic horror feel about it just really entertains me, and the way most of the songs sounds all happy and cheerful but actually have a really dark meaning behind them makes me wanna learn the true meanings behind each song. If anyone is looking for another artist who has this kind of music I suggest Miracle Musical ;)

I like how some people just randomly finds this, others come from Omori, a few may come from tiktok, a few may come from some gaming Channel (who knows), meanwhile I came (3 years ago) from the animation meme community lol-
I don't have a Clear memory of how I found out about this song unfortunately. What I do know is that I made an (I called it Original) Animation meme with one of Bo ens songs 4 years ago, I can't believe its already been that Long!
I came because of Tally Hall. Bo en was recommended to my by both youtube and Spotify. I guess you can say Tally Hall got me into Omori too because My Time was how I first found out about it. (Tho it was 2019 at the time and I thought it wasn’t going to come out.)
I discovered some of bo en's music from animation memes too lmao, but I only recently had the brains to look back at this completely (probably because my omori brainrot urged me to)
this is depressingly beautiful, Terrifyingly good and Melancholically unique. this album is one big mix between happy, sad, and then just straight up depression this isn't just Pale Machine, this is Weirdcore, the Album. a slice of thought of how life could be better, makes me think back in 2015 when things were still normal, if it made sense for me to be depressed then does it makes sense for me to be now? also the sound editing in the whole album just makes me feel like i'm a Schizophrenia patient. 10/10 would hear again
@@cocolocobirb981 I feel like Bo En's work could be taken as literally anything and it could still be considered beautiful, plus he's literally just, like good at what he does and the style of music he makes in particular.
@@startaru it, literally is, here's the thing about "weirdcore" music, it fits the weird and almost nostalgic aesthetic for most weirdcore, it's not mainstream, it's not something which many people at all think of and to be quite honest the music really isn't weirdcore, it sort of becomes that as the aesthetic shapes it to become so, while it on itself may not be, it certainly can fit an aesthetic that is by definition "weird" and as much as I myself may hate the name weirdcore it's undeniable that by definition songs that follow through this pseudo-nostalgic almost friendly aesthetic can be considered that. it's a mix of sad and happy and metaphoric and literal and low and high and whatever else you may think of it, IT'S WEIRD! and that's a compliment!
I think my favourites are Pale Machine, Every Day, and My Time They all sound so nice :D Also the way Pale Machine sounds reminds me of The Pale King I have no idea why tho Anyway I love this album! All the songs are so good! I can’t describe how they make me feel but it’s a good feeling 💜 Edit: just found this comment again, The Pale King is a character from a game called Hollow Knight idk why I didn’t say what he was from but yea whatever
This song makes me feel an emotion that doesn’t exist. If I ever decide to do it, I’ll use these lyrics on my note. This is what I’ll listen to before I die
This album makes me so incredibly happy and nostalgic every time I hear it, I find myself coming back again and again to listen to these songs. They help me to get through my day a lot. Thank you very much for uploading the album here and for making such awesome music.
same. I found out about it last week and then finally went into the channel earlier today. This is probably the only full album of any music I have watched completely
I found about him from omori's old trailer song that is called my time I was like :WOAHHHH THAT'S SO SICK! . Then I saw the lyrics and saw the name of the creator and saw a comment if his songs and that stuff and now I'm here. I like being here
When I listen to it it reminds me of some things: Hopes and Dreams, Light and Darkness, Bubblegum, cats, glitter, Pastel, gravity, space, Future, stars, Love and death, Hate and Birth, anime and cartoons, Soap ;3 , pastel gore and pastel colors... This is my New favorite kind of music :)
Thank you for reminding me cool person! Uhhhh cool theory on this album being from the perspective of the last person on earth! I don’t think this is 100% what the song’s about, rather just a cool thing I thought of! (Don’t recommend doing this on UA-cam itself, I kept accidentally refreshing the page and losing my very long comment lol) Intro - not much to see here, quite saddening music so maybe referring to the incident that caused him to be the last one? Miss You - The song starts off with a young child talking to an adult, so maybe he was a father? One of the only lyrics in the song are “Think how the time has gone, Somehow I'm alone”, really pushing that idea that everyone else is gone. “Somehow” he is alone, which could be taken as him erasing the memory of what happened from himself, to deal with how goddamn devastating it must have been Be Okay - I haven’t got too much on this song, but it is about being in love! Notable thing about this song is that he says “we’re gonna be- you’re gonna be okay” (pls lmk if the lyric is wrong) which kind of seems like he doesn’t think he will be okay, but you can take it your own way! Every Day - woo!! I really love this song. Onto the meaning: the song begins with “I want to take a walk every day, but I’m in a cave.”. This can be taken many ways, but in this case, it appears that he is hiding from something - maybe the something that attacked (que evangelion third impact reference here)? The last lyric before the epic beat drop is “It won’t matter anymore”, accompanied with a creepy sounding reversed version, before the insane-sounding music plays. I think no matter which way you look at it, it sounds like he’s going crazy. Especially the repeated “la la la’s” at the end. Friend - you can hear a robotic sounding voice in the background (most likely an utau), which could very well be referencing the “Pale Machine” in the album name and its counterpart song. Maybe the man made a robot, because he couldn’t deal with the loneliness of being by himself? It’s plausible, he does seem quite “far-gone” (for use of a better word) by this point as it’s heard in the music of the later songs. It’s obvious this song is about using your friends (intentionally or not - more likely to be intentional because he says, “I’ll be eating you”. Mentally, obviously.) so that you can get out of the dark place you’re in to see the light; this can be repurposed with the robot as the friend, he most likely used it to help himself get out of the loneliness he was feeling. He also says, “make my dream come true”, presumably his dream for everyone else in his life before they disappeared to come back, Again, another thing - there's a small piece where he just kind of. Screams and shouts in joy, which may be when he finally finished the robot Winter Valentine - again, not much here. One of the lyrics say “So I fall back to sleep (Dreaming of the time)”, probably the time when his “winter valentine” was still here. The robot is heard a lot more here, saying quite loving things, so maybe he created the robot in place of his lover? PAAALLLEE MACHIIINEEE - YEAHH THIS IS WHAT ITS ABOUT!!! OK ok ok. So, the song starts off with a happy (?!!? For once/j) sounding singer, singing “I'm feeling good let's say, My emptiness has gone away”, so it’s obvious something great has happened. To be honest, I think either this takes place around the time of Every Day and Friend (oh god I’m making this sound like a Harry Potter timeline), either that or he’s recalling a memory. He seems happy, so it appears like he just created the robot and is bonding with it (as the robot is singing along with him in the BG). He’s asking the robot quite philosophical questions: “Show me how to live” “Will you lead me straight to paradise?”, he might be seeing the robot as a savior in his struggle; the robot however answers with just “like clockwork”, or with “perfect circle, perfect circle” which the man isn’t capable of doing (I mean who would be? It’s impossible to live the 'perfect life'). Then you go onto the chorus, “Lonely, with my pale machine, Eyes will run with tired tears, Living like a dream”. Again, afterwards we’re greeted with a similar sounding “descend-into-madness" kind of instrumental used in most of the other songs. When he realized the robot couldn’t help him with these issues, he probably “lost it” (again, for use of a better word...). My Time - oh geez. Apologies to anyone out there who waited for OMORI to release (it now has!) and is getting whiplash from hearing this again after 6 years, lol. Also sorry to anyone who was waiting for the finale to this theory with this song, but to be completely honest all I can say is that (big TW ahead!!) is that the man either committed s*icide, or in some way completely lost himself in his madness. I’m really making this album out to be as sad as possible... But that’s just how I see it! Anyway, I really hope you enjoyed reading this, and can maybe see the album from another perspective now!
That is actually a good take on it🤔 But to me it's more of someone who doesn't have the happiest life, or isn't enjoying it and wishes for more. But they cant exactly get what they want still, so they just end up lying to themselves that things are alright. (So like how many others have said, it could just represent someone's daily life.) And I can recall that Bo said in a stream that the album was about how we try to keep ourselves happy through virtual reality (the internet etc.), or how we'll lie to ourselves sometimes that how we're living now with the internet is alright/everything is okay. Or maybe he said that it's about how we'll surround ourselves with happy things from the internet, and then try to ignore all other problems. Saying that everything's fine etc.
(Sorry if this is long🧎♀️) As for the "lala" that we hear in some of the songs, they usually sound like their trying to block out something to me. In "Be Okay" as u said, it sounds like they dont actually believe that. The "lala" sounds like an almost ignorant one. Like how u may cover ur ears and just repeatedly say "la" to block out whatever u want to block out. Then like in many songs that include something similar, they'll use "la" to make things sound happier or more innocent if u may. And like in every-day, which doesn't have that happy of lyrics, Bo used "la" immediately after to close the song. (And they did make me feel a lil happier.) Under the audio of Pale Machine (the separate video) there was a comment talking about what they envisioned once. It was indeed a robot and a man, but they were one person. Half man, half robot. And they struggled to feel human emotions. That doesn't necessarily mean they didnt feel any, since in the comment they explained how they yearned to feel human emotions. Which yearning is an emotion. They also weren't so compatible with each other. They didnt agree with each other, their feelings would overlap etc etc. (I cant exactly recall if this is the correct order of events.) Eventually they began tearing themselves apart, ripping their more robot body apart out of frustration of not being able to feel(ig) But soon they realized they had felt the emotion of sadness as they began to cry tears. So as they had already torn themselves to pieces and were slowly dying, they died satisfied or content since they had finally felt an emotion they could recognize. (Which matches up with the more calm ending to the song.) To me this image is quite a lovely one, but it wasn't meant as explanation or theory of what the song was about. Just what the person imagined. (This is just imo, or my take on this.) Pale Machine sounds like someone struggling to feel happy, or anything a good portion of the time. But they use things around then to lead themselves into a false sense of safety. They're dependent on the ppl/things around them, or even just idols or famous ppl they look up to. And bc of these lives or things around them, it leads them to lie to themselves once again. That they're alright, that they feel alright etc. And they do this until they explode/crumble. Like the lyrics (which im hoping are correct): *"Eat my corny flakes for you."* *"I just want to be with you."* *"Teach me how to live."* Then finally, *"I'm feeling good today, let's say my emptiness has gone away."* (And that's like when someone is quite mentally and emotionally unstable, but as soon as they feel alright they may lie to themselves that nothing's wrong etc.) *My Time-* it honestly just sounds like your drowning in emotion, but you've also finally excepted the fact that things aren't all hugs and kisses. So u create some type of escape for yourself, which could just be sleeping. Dreaming, passing time, napping ur problems away etc etc. It was also said that Calum said at some point that My Time was just about "sleep." Not to mention the lyrics more obviously talking about the subject of sleep and escape. Then at the end of the song it plays the intro of the album once again. Which ig could signal that the whole process of going through ur daily, unhappy life is gonna repeat. On a side note- "Friend" I think was about how they'd use their friends as a way to feel better/an escape. Hang out with em etc, or whatever.
God this album resonates with me so much dude. The awkwardness of being a teenager and having different emotions flowing through your body; that’s what this album reminds me of. Thank you bo en for being here
This album makes me think of someone going through their week to me,maybe doing something everyday such as work: Miss You (Monday) - fresh start to the week, but missing the weekend and how it ended so quickly Be Okay (Tuesday) - you start to get tired, but you don't worry about it too much, because you're sure you're gonna be okay Everyday (Wednesday) - halfway there, but still have 2 days, or more like, three more days until the weekend. You start to think you're stuck, doing the same thing everyday, wondering if you'll get anywhere Friend (Thursday) - didn't really think about this one lol. The song might be about someone looking for a friend to make things easier, but just using them only to feel better and for their own benefit Winter valentine (Friday) - this one sounds really joyful, like the person is happy that it's finally the weekend Pale Machine (Saturday) - chilling for most of the day inside their house, but they don't have anything to do and so they feel like their wasting their free time My Time (Sunday) - end of the week. this one sounds more emotional compared to the others, so I thought this could be the person feeling upset that their weekend is coming to an end, and the day is haunted by the looming Monday. However, there's nothing they can do about it so they sleep for most of the day, to forget how they feel
It’s been nearly six years since this masterpiece was released. Well done, Calum. This album, even after six years, manages to keep me listening many times through. I have proably listened to this more than ten times on spotify since I found out about this album back when OMORI was released. And the fact that this was your debut album! Well done! I also really enjoyed your music in pikuniku and crossy road castle! Once again,- I am probably repeating this over and over again- well done!
they're the exact same chord progression, or rather, the same chord progression progression lol it's the magic of john coltrane's giant steps I guess lol
haven't listened to this album is a while (probably about one or two years) but pale machine 2 has convinced me to relisten to it. i am still extremely fond of it, and i have good memories with it, and im glad that it's just as good as i remember. i discovered this album in 2021 thanks to the omori hyperfixation i had that year, and that year was one of the best years of my life. (sorry for the ramble, but i 'twas feeling a bit nostalgic :)
This music is so nostalgic and happy. Every time I listen to this music it gives me inspiration to actually do something like go outside, see the world, and finally upload something on my channel. But these songs fill me with happiness and inspiration I know I said that before but I just felt to say it again. Keep on livin' people and live strong. Thank you bo en.
woah, now that i think about it,this album is about the time that the first omori trailer was out,so that's why this album fits the game so well... man,bo en,you're a legend(also omocat and others for making omori, but let's just focus of these songs first. even though these songs are just reminding us that life isn't always good, this is still a masterpiece. I MEAN,JUST LISTEN TO THE ALBUM FULLY,YOU CAN SEE A PATTERN THERE)
Few months ago, i realised that i'm very happy in my life. Now, i enjoy all of it, before it'll deasapear for some reasons.. Hope everyone's good, for the ones who are trough a bad period, you can be helped and i'm sure y'all gonna make it ! Thanks bo en for this beautiful album, i really love it ! Have a nice day everyone
I found this album because of “every day” being on a dreamcore/weirdcore playlist. After relistening to the song a few times, I started to really love it. So I searched up bo en and listened to the rest of the album. It was so unique and it blew me away. I also found out about OMORI through this album. I couldn’t stop listening to it. The album cover is also beautiful, I love that color palette. This album continues to be my 1# along with Pale Machine 2. Thank you bo en for creating beautiful music. It changed my life.
The Fader brought me here, but thank goodness. I'm really looking forward to another album, and I'm excited for the shift in genre. Really good work, man.
This album is incredible! Be Okay has to bey favorite but every other song is a close 2nd. Gorgeous, trippy, with the reoccurring themes /melodies really bring this full circle. I freaking love this, thank you bo en!
It is interesting how people keep coming to this album from a lot of places even though it was released more than 8 years ago, I recommend listening to the full album, there is not much information but in my interpretation it narrates the progression of the depression and despair of a person who unfortunately ends up committing suicide, this album is very important to me and it makes me happy that its still alive in some way.
I found out about Bo En through OMORI, but now that I'm taking the time to listen to this album it's actually pretty good. Just feels really surreal, like a montage of warped memories. The start of Winter Valentine reminds me of Yume Nikki for whatever reason. OMOCAT has good taste. Plus the songs just fit a lot of OMORI's themes... I've seen an animatic of Pale Machine and it's really cool, but it'd be awesome if someone did something with something like Miss You for HERO or something
Each song makes me feel a different feeling, each feeling does base its self off of my blissful ignorance. Miss you makes me feel nostalgic, I just want to sit down and think while also enjoying the nice world that is the present. Be okay makes me think about wiiu era, I just feel SO SILLY! I wanna go play Nintendo land and enjoy my life a little. Even if my life is in complete shambles Every day makes me feel so wrong and fine at the same time. My life is falling apart, but HEY! Remember when I put that banana peel in the disc slot? That was hilarious! Who cares if the world is slowly dying! Seems perfectly fine to me! Friend is the blissful ignorance, without the ignorance! Life is genuinely amazing, and I will keep playing animal crossing new leaf, who cares about new horizons! Friend group drama? That's fine! I can fix it! Its all going to be ok in the end. Winter valentine feels like when I decide MAYBE I DO HAVE PROBLEMS. And decide to try to better myself instead of sticking with my boring old habits and problems. Its fine! I only need to think about how other people see me for a little bit!
Pale machine is how I feel when I'm not just blissful, I'm just feeling as great as it gets!! Everything is amazing! My friends love me! Everyone is supportive and nice!!
My time, what a DOOZY. I'm not ok! I'm delusional. I most likely have to face that fact eventually! Just because I'm insane doesn't make me wrong about these things! Feeling suicidal? Just listen to this! Don't go jumping off any buildings! That would be a tragedy, wouldn't it SUNNY? Everything will be just as it was in the end! This is the last time you will have to think this!
One day I am going to look back on this peculiar comment. I will most likely think "MANNN I was edgy." but I will also see this wholesome comment! This is here to future me. I hope you are doing fantastic! Sincerely, Kat
It's the lyrics for all the songs on the album, on the cover of the album. If you're asking the meaning for these lyrics then i'm just gonna have to ponder for a few days.
Omy God I listened this when I'm18, and I'm 23 now. I was struggling at that time. and I really like these songs. I used to imagine my world while I listen to this... thanks to algorithm. I MIssed you

Edit: I have gotten into two of the "weird" artists I see everyone talk about (the two being jack stauber and tally hall) and I love them both to death. Also I've seen a few comments (well, idk about a few, but I did see one) talking about how jack stauber and bo en should collab and I want that to happen. Like I really, want it to happen. edit: as of July 1st, 2022, I've gotten into two more artists under this camp (those two being will wood and lemon demon) and I love them both. I'm actually listening to some lemon demon rn as i'm typing this (song im listening to is when he died for those wondering :)

Just take a moment to appreciate that you can listen to this masterpiece of an album. =D
True understanding is spontaneous, fleeting, and, like a dream, quickly forgotten. It's zooming out and seeing the world as it really is, in all of it's horror and heartbreak, convolutions and simplicity, without interruption from the mind. You see the universe connect like a jigsaw puzzle, and see patterns you didn't know existed but now seem so obvious unfold before your very eyes. In these moments, you see what God sees. Until one moment, the noise is redoubled, the blindfold replaced, and the puzzle disconnected, unsolvable.
I heard those Yoshi sounds in Pale Machine. Just like the BUPs in See in Your Fantasy. You sampled some interesting bits in the creation of your songs, eh? I have just become aware that See in Your Fantasy was composed by someone else.
I want to look in the future and listen to this and thinking "woah this album reminds me of when things weren't so good." I want to be okay in the future to look back at this and be happy that things are okay and will be okay... I love bo en so much...

I discovered some of bo en's music from animation memes too lmao, but I only recently had the brains to look back at this completely (probably because my omori brainrot urged me to)
My friend showed me this music when I was ehhhhhh twelve or eleven but I moved I miss them 😭
i discovered him though omori and listening to more of his music was the best decision i've ever made
this is depressingly beautiful, Terrifyingly good and Melancholically unique.
this album is one big mix between happy, sad, and then just straight up depression
this isn't just Pale Machine, this is Weirdcore, the Album.
a slice of thought of how life could be better, makes me think back in 2015 when things were still normal, if it made sense for me to be depressed then does it makes sense for me to be now?
also the sound editing in the whole album just makes me feel like i'm a Schizophrenia patient.
10/10 would hear again
when you’ve played omori my time and pale machine(not in the game just has similar messages and meaning) hit different 😭
@@cocolocobirb981 I feel like Bo En's work could be taken as literally anything and it could still be considered beautiful, plus he's literally just, like good at what he does and the style of music he makes in particular.
please dont call his music weirdcore

Thank you for reminding me cool person!
Uhhhh cool theory on this album being from the perspective of the last person on earth!
I don’t think this is 100% what the song’s about, rather just a cool thing I thought of!
(Don’t recommend doing this on UA-cam itself, I kept accidentally refreshing the page and losing my very long comment lol)
Intro - not much to see here, quite saddening music so maybe referring to the incident that caused him to be the last one?
Miss You - The song starts off with a young child talking to an adult, so maybe he was a father? One of the only lyrics in the song are “Think how the time has gone, Somehow I'm alone”, really pushing that idea that everyone else is gone. “Somehow” he is alone, which could be taken as him erasing the memory of what happened from himself, to deal with how goddamn devastating it must have been
Be Okay - I haven’t got too much on this song, but it is about being in love!
Screams and shouts in joy, which may be when he finally finished the robot
Winter Valentine - again, not much here.
Oop- it's been 3 days so I think you can edit it now
@@dill8022 lololl thank you
@@dill8022 edited and up now incase u wanna read B)
That is actually a good take on it🤔
But to me it's more of someone who doesn't have the happiest life, or isn't enjoying it and wishes for more.
But they cant exactly get what they want still, so they just end up lying to themselves that things are alright.
(So like how many others have said, it could just represent someone's daily life.)
And I can recall that Bo said in a stream that the album was about how we try to keep ourselves happy through virtual reality (the internet etc.), or how we'll lie to ourselves sometimes that how we're living now with the internet is alright/everything is okay.
Or maybe he said that it's about how we'll surround ourselves with happy things from the internet, and then try to ignore all other problems. Saying that everything's fine etc.
(Sorry if this is long🧎♀️)
As for the "lala" that we hear in some of the songs, they usually sound like their trying to block out something to me.
(And they did make me feel a lil happier.)
Under the audio of Pale Machine (the separate video) there was a comment talking about what they envisioned once.
(I cant exactly recall if this is the correct order of events.)
Eventually they began tearing themselves apart, ripping their more robot body apart out of frustration of not being able to feel(ig)
But soon they realized they had felt the emotion of sadness as they began to cry tears. So as they had already torn themselves to pieces and were slowly dying, they died satisfied or content since they had finally felt an emotion they could recognize.
(Which matches up with the more calm ending to the song.)
To me this image is quite a lovely one, but it wasn't meant as explanation or theory of what the song was about. Just what the person imagined.
(This is just imo, or my take on this.)
Pale Machine sounds like someone struggling to feel happy, or anything a good portion of the time.
Like the lyrics (which im hoping are correct):
*"Eat my corny flakes for you."*
*"I just want to be with you."*
*"Teach me how to live."*
Then finally, *"I'm feeling good today, let's say my emptiness has gone away."*
(And that's like when someone is quite mentally and emotionally unstable, but as soon as they feel alright they may lie to themselves that nothing's wrong etc.)
*My Time-* it honestly just sounds like your drowning in emotion, but you've also finally excepted the fact that things aren't all hugs and kisses. So u create some type of escape for yourself, which could just be sleeping. Dreaming, passing time, napping ur problems away etc etc. It was also said that Calum said at some point that My Time was just about "sleep."
Not to mention the lyrics more obviously talking about the subject of sleep and escape.

This album makes me think of someone going through their week to me,maybe doing something everyday such as work:
Miss You (Monday) - fresh start to the week, but missing the weekend and how it ended so quickly
Be Okay (Tuesday) - you start to get tired, but you don't worry about it too much, because you're sure you're gonna be okay
Everyday (Wednesday) - halfway there, but still have 2 days, or more like, three more days until the weekend. You start to think you're stuck, doing the same thing everyday, wondering if you'll get anywhere
Friend (Thursday) - didn't really think about this one lol. The song might be about someone looking for a friend to make things easier, but just using them only to feel better and for their own benefit
Winter valentine (Friday) - this one sounds really joyful, like the person is happy that it's finally the weekend
Pale Machine (Saturday) - chilling for most of the day inside their house, but they don't have anything to do and so they feel like their wasting their free time
My Time (Sunday) - end of the week. this one sounds more emotional compared to the others, so I thought this could be the person feeling upset that their weekend is coming to an end, and the day is haunted by the looming Monday. However, there's nothing they can do about it so they sleep for most of the day, to forget how they feel

Got here from Omori MAP (Multiple Animator Project) Pale Machine. Absolutely worth it.
I've seen an animatic of Pale Machine and it's really cool, but it'd be awesome if someone did something with something like Miss You for HERO or something
ya know what? ive seen this comment multiple times, and ive decided ill do the last thing you said.
Even if my life is in complete shambles
Every day makes me feel so wrong and fine at the same time.

Close your eyes you'll be here soon.
can someone recommend me artists like bo en? i really like his music and i would like to expand my taste.

I found a strange video known as "the full story of Omori (secret good ending)"
I watched it.
I liked the story
I dived deeper
The discovery of a lot of music came into play here.
I listened to the OST of Omori many times.
I found pale machine through the OST of Omori.
I then found this album.
If just one thing was different, I wouldn't be here at all, I wouldn't love music, horror, or anything like that. Just take a moment to appreciate that you can listen to this masterpiece of an album. =D
Listen up people, from this point onward music/melody that have abstract/happy sound, but meaning/metaphor’s depressing/dark are called distortcore
god damn. its beautiful. I like how exiting intro turn into end of the album. So simple but so geniusly
in case you want to know what insanity feels like, wear headphones, and flick the volume from 30 to 80 every second with the knob
It feels amazing
True understanding is spontaneous, fleeting, and, like a dream, quickly forgotten. It's zooming out and seeing the world as it really is, in all of it's horror and heartbreak, convolutions and simplicity, without interruption from the mind. You see the universe connect like a jigsaw puzzle, and see patterns you didn't know existed but now seem so obvious unfold before your very eyes. In these moments, you see what God sees. Until one moment, the noise is redoubled, the blindfold replaced, and the puzzle disconnected, unsolvable.
This album still holds up to this day as a revolutionary masterpiece, truly a work of art.
Man , i keep coming back to this
Why is this piece of music so beautiful
I heard those Yoshi sounds in Pale Machine. Just like the BUPs in See in Your Fantasy. You sampled some interesting bits in the creation of your songs, eh?
I have just become aware that See in Your Fantasy was composed by someone else.
I like to listen to this album when I'm working on my art school stuff, brings the creativity right back up. love this lol
