This time it's "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" is the second studio album by American rock band My Chemical Romance, released on June 8, 2004 by Reprise Records. With this album, the band produced a cleaner sound than that of their 2002 debut I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. It was the band's final release to feature drummer Matt Pelissier, who would later be replaced by Bob Bryar. I hope you enjoy it.

"I never told you what I do for a living" is one of the best rock songs ever.
Cant forget Thank You For The Venom, another great song and right up there with INTYWIDFAL (so are a majority of their songs)
Is it only me who thinks MCR doesn’t solely belong in the emo genre? They’re very much rock too & alternative rock specifically I suppose with a tinge of metal. MCR seems to me to exceed the emo genre, unlike a band like Taking Back Sunday or Hawthorne Heights as they scream emo (literally & figuratively).
Give em'hell Kid seems like Nana from the anime litteraly from the Blasts it's just awesome in general there's not a better song all of MCR songs are as beautiful.
@@a.evelyn5498I always considerated them Hardcore for sure, Punk Rock just for their aggressive tone which for me remained even in the black parade but lesser, but for sure I think also that they have alternative rock elements from the Black parade yet.

Ooooh the transition between the ghost of you and jetset life on vinyl is so smooth. For some reason on my phone it never transitions like it should on vinyl or cd and it makes me irrationally annoyed

the version on streaming services may be the single version. the same thing happens with dirty harry and feel good inc off of demon days so that might be the reason

The transition from ghost of you to jetset life turned out to be the most replayed part of the video and it says everything

man this album saved my life, i hate saying that because it’s so corny but no seriously. soooooooo many heartbreaks that left me bruised and broken, as i wept like orpheus this album always finds its way back to me and makes me whole again.

I first heard this album when I was 16 and now listening to it again at 32 I still cannot believe how amazing this album is. Being older I can appreciate how technical the music is like this is serious talent! Absolute chefs kiss perfection.

They remixed the album for vinyl, so it's mostly the same but less aggressively loud which causes that static
You do know that thats the entire point right.
You buy it on vinyl for that static type of sound it gives.

Haven't listened to this album in so long. Tears automatically started coming with Ghost of You. Too many memories, this album got me through a lot.

Hands down is one of the best albums to belt at the absolute top of your lungs. To take all the hurt, the anguish, pain, and suffering, and turn it into: beautiful music.
So much so, I have everyone in my entire apartment complex coming to my door to comment! 10/10 would recommend!

My chem is absolutely superb. Will never get sick of this album, it’s been great to listen to it as a teenager and it’s even greater to listen to it as a young adult. I don’t think I’ll know peace until I see them live lol
I have the red vinyl. My dad loves "physical media" as he say, and so do I. The noise vinyl makes is something that no digital version couldn't never ever be better at. I've listened to this album (and the others) so so so many times that I feel like they're part of me. I can't see my life without the MCR, even in those 7 years. There's something that connects me to these songs with an incomprehensible bond. I love this band and that's all.

I was a runner on this session, and hearing this album on vinyl immediately takes me back to the studio when we heard these songs for the first time after tracking. That full sound. Awesome!

@@Fredg110 runners were how you got your start in studios back in the day. You tried to intern to get your foot in the door, and if they liked you you got hired on as a runner, hopefully to become an assistant engineer or head engineer someday. Runners filled in the gaps, setting up microphones in the studios late at night or helping tear down, along with running to drive a band member (gerard) back and forth to the label. But we also had to earn our way in by doing menial tasks like coffee, or grabbing lunch. Paying our dues.
This is such a cool story man. Jealous of you to have been around these guys, especially right before this album that would catapult their careers

Holy cow, the bass was completely hearable. Felt like it took the lead on this one. Playing along to this album would have been more fun when I covered half of the songs here on guitar but oh well, only stopped by because of the vinyl version. Sweet Cheers, everyone!

i used to listen to this album on vinyl as a teenager. cemetery drive always used to be my favorite and i finally understand why, it sounds so clean here omfg
Now I know the reason why vinyls are such highly valuable music storage than CDs.
I think the most valuable storage is digital since it doesn't degrade or wear down over time, takes up practically no space, and is very hard to destroy compared to vinyl or cd. But vinyl is definitely the most pleasurable to listen to.

I just started buying vinyl. Haven't bought a record player vet though ha. I can't find a copy of Reign in Blood for love nor Money.
This is hardly the vinyl experience. Just because you can see the record is spinning doesn't mean that you're getting the experience. I'm not trying to be a dick but this is an awful idea because it's realistically only capturing a very small percentage of the vinyl experience. Uploading an analog format (i.e. vinyl) to a digital format (i.e. UA-cam) loses the majority of the vinyl quality.

My favorite song in this album has to be "The Jetset life" hands down.
The bass is fenomenal and Gerard's vocals are beyond amazing in this track.
This song reminded me a lot of the feeling i got from listening to the album Bullets .

The last time I listened to the full album I was an early teenager, maybe 15 years old. I have listened to the Black Parade again & again as it’s a perfect album, but I only listened to songs from this album.
It’s amazing listening again & remembering songs & lyrics. It really does recall old sentiments & sensations from when I listened to the album when I was young & hopeful whilst very sad & lonely too.
