We had the opportunity to talk to Tim at Sniper Marine to give us the details of their Forward Facing Sonar Pole/Mount. We thought this could be a good solution for Tiny Boats in certain situations.
These poles will work with LiveScope, ActiveTarget and Mega Live.
They also make trolling motor mounts that will work with the Garmin Force, Minn Kota Ultrex, Lowrance Ghost, Minn-kota Fortrex Maxuum and Edge Trolling motors.

Super cool! They would make a fortune if it had no handle at all and where the pole comes out the side there was a small cable that went to a tiny foot control pedal. So you could just move between your trolling motor pedal and your live scope pedal hands free!
I think this handle is more accurate and easier to use. I made my own with motor and it's not so good to use

Why not just put a pile inside a pole and forget all the gears and crap.
