Yes to front deck (potentially a good battery storage location, which could help with fore-aft balance). I think you should go with the shorter gun-only box. Hard to say about one seat or two. That's a pretty small boat so two guys is tough, but duck hunting is often more fun as a group activity. I'm looking forward to watching this play out!

Gun box from the back bench to front rib on the left side. Run a small platform from the front to the first rib . Run an open shelf on the right side to store ammo and lean the guns up on . Run two seats . Be cool if you could do a quick blind with it

Definitely a front deck 3’9” for fishing and in case you’re taking a dog. Would also be big enough for storage of decoys and other gear. Gun box with the length of a rod locker. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. I’d definitely weld in the front platform; a middle aged bald, bearded dude told me to share that nugget. One seat post, IMO. Second person can put a 5 gal bucket on front deck. 100% on the notched out rear deck and I’d even consider notching the front deck to accommodate half the depth of an average cooler. Would give you some floor space without having to completely remove the front bench seat.

Id prob do no floor in the front, leave it for decoys and gear and dog, if you put all that on top of the floor now you cant see idk

Do you need to calibrate everyone you turn the unit on? Also, about how long does the battery in the remote last?

I understand if the gps module is the wrong direction on a Bow mount set up it will do unusual things but is this the case with a Transom mount set up? It seems like this is what you would need to do to get the transom mount to operate all the features properly.

Have you guys ever considered making an insulated lid specifically for your live Wells? Maybe encapsulated and waterproof foam within two layers of aluminum?
