Kuma's a really fascinating character because he's got so many different things going on, so many details and a whole lot of questions but very few answers. I'm really interested to see how his whole story comes together.
Personally I think Kuma and BB are the same race and it's not been revealed yet but will be this arc Looking at Kuma's story from the perspective of him not needing to sleep like BB just makes so much sense -Why he'd be such a valuable slave to the Celestial Dragons that there's a wait list for him -How he managed to single handedly defend the Thousand Sunny for 2 years -Why they'd want clones of him specifically first over any other Warlord for the Pacifistas, untiring soldiers It would also make showing the recent BB stuff make sense because we're going to get the secret to his body this arc And "Connie" being Kuma's mother doesn't make much sense based on her appearance, it would make more sense if she was Bonnie's MATERIAL grandmother the mother of Kuma's wife and she could have been royalty Kuma married into explaining his lack of princely-ness as a child
I was thinking something similar. I think Kuma being poor when he was young gives the impression that he studied and then was very useful to the kingdom. This lead him to marry into royalty. Him being poor wanted to change the sistem, this thought didn't go as well. I think it's a sort of thing where he distributed wealth from rich to poor. Or the Marie's made him put in laws to sabotage him (that's where the Marine hate comes from) that made his kingdom revolt agent's him

@@alfredhinton8792 I also think his ability shown in taking over the kingdom gave him leverage to negotiate with the world government to not be executed. Showed his power in the hostile takeover, made them think they could use him rather than destroy him.
I think Seraphim Kuma is actual Kuma. Vegapunk probably wouldn't completely erase Kuma, so basically transplanted him into the Seraphim secretly. Thats also why its acting weirdly.
I'm really excited to see Kuma. The *real* Kuma, because I don't think we've ever seen him before. He's always been one of the most fascinating One Piece characters for me.
In Thriller Bark, he literally said this is the last time you’ll ever see “me”. “You and I will never meet again” were is real words though. That was like a cyborg of the real kuma, with his real self intact and he really used his emotions and non clouded judgement to allow zoro to save luffy.

Last thing Kuma said to Luffy at Sabaody was "We will never see each other again" So, I think there is no possible way to bring him back cause he would have known someday his body will end up with the Revolutionarys again and Dragon would try anything but it's just impossible.

Kuma is going for the platinum. He was royalty, pirate, with marines, with revolutionaries, with WG, and with vegapunk. Is there any other faction he wasn't a part of? Maybe underworld but i think he even dabbled in that world a bit too as a pirate/revolutionary.
These revelations add so much more weight to Kuma's words about the strawhats, when Zoro takes Luffy's pain. Specifically about how what great friends he has. Attributing it to being his son. Both having strong allies willing to sacrifice their lives and ambitions for their leader and crew.
Kuma's story is pretty sad so far. Dude just wanted to be a nice guy, wound up a WG genocide machine. Yikes. At least he'll probably get revenge when Vegapunk turns the robot army he's slowly infiltrated and replaced the marines with against the World Goverment in a story as old as machinery.
I really like the theory of Vivi getting the Paw-Paw Fruit, and with her possibly being with the revolutionary Sabo at the moment (Sabo wanted Ace's Fruit to honour him, so wouldn't it make sense for him to want to give Kuma's Fruit to someone aswell?). So I think Kuma probably has to die, sadly.
Looking at young kuma, his head is shaved, and the shaved area is gray, this could mean his hair was dark when he was young, or it was a light gray/white indicating his lunarian lineage!!
It seems like, when you add this extra book, he seems to be a king who values wisdom as many of the books of the bible (as it is many books in one) are known as holding wisdom.
I think we will find out that Kuma was an actual tyrant, or more so Kuma viewed his actions in that way at some point even if what he did wasn't really that bad or necessarily his fault. Just some event that he feels he needs to repent for which is why he was willing to go through such drastic actions in the first place.
I like how tekking said "we overthrown the old king, he sucked, who should be the new king?! that guy! you should be the new king, you're a nice guy!" as a joke, when it was exactly what happened with Dalton...
There's also the OTHER reading of Ninokin to consider. "Ni no Kin" which means...2 gold or gold of two. Could the TWO Piece be real? But, if I had to guess, Kuma's a "tyrant" because he got rid of a "rightful" Celestial Dragon or something.
Does anyone think Luffy will eventually meet Dragon? What if, and it's a BIG IF, the two won't get along in the slightest? In fact, what if Dragon will act antagonistically towards his son? Like "you're too carefree, you don't know the lengths I've gone to in order to make the Revolution's vision a reality!" And Luffy will be like "I don't care about your methods! You're too extreme! I don't even see you as my father!" And Sabo will be caught in the middle. Honestly I could kinda see that happening... Think of the drama!

Kuma and King are also the same age and King is Lunarian which Kuma might be as well. They were both experimented or at least studied by Vegapunk and Kuma was even fully modified. And we saw a seraph Kuma in this arc so I'm expecting some Lunarian lore from Vegapunk later on.
One thing that I thought about while listening to the end of the video is that bonnie could be Kuma's adoptive daughter or something of the sort. It's not something that would be unprecedented in One Piece considering that Luffy called Ace his brother making us think that they were related by blood when they were not. Also thinking more about it I realized that it wouldn't make sense since when Bonnie transforms into her older self that she resembles queen Connie which would mean that Connie is most likely Bonnies grandma. So what if Connie had a daughter that had a child (in this case Bonnie) and then she ended up dying (mother's in One Piece don't have a good track record of being alive). After that, we have Kuma who started becoming more important in the Sorbet kingdom like Ninomiya did when he was alive. Once he started getting a lot of recognition then the king and queen at the time might have decided to take him in and make him the king of the kingdom because it seemed like he would make a better king. That is when he took Bonnie in and she became his adoptive daughter. This would solve any problems related to Bonnie not being of the special race that Kuma is (Lunarian or otherwise) and her not even specifying if she is part of said race. At the end of the day this is all speculation and it could just be flat out wrong LMAO
When you have to go through a dozen hoops in an attempt to explain why Kuma could be a Lunarian I think it makes far more sense to just realize the theory is very flawed and unlikely

I recall that Franky was the first person to see Kuma and upon seeing Franky he stumbled off with some difficulty since he was apparently damaged during those two years.
Kuma could of become the king of the Sorbet Kingdom by marrying the princess and heir to the kingdom. Stelly, Sabo's adopted brother did the same. Now Stelly did because of politics and plotting and Kuma could have did it because of love, but the end result is still the same.
It’s interesting how the the island imu blew up with the death laser (allegedly) also had a rebellion against its king. What if the sorbet kingdom was trying to uprise against the WG and Kuma found out the truth somehow and made it look like they were rebelling against him
It is possible that Kuma married into royalty, so Bonnie is still the princess because she's connected by her maternal side, much like Dressrosa had Rebecca, but her mother left the throne due to marrying Kyros(and thinking the citizens wouldn't accept him as king), but it didn't disqualify her as princess after everything was settled back. Vivi is also the next in line so whoever she marries would become king. Also Sterry, Sabo's adoptive brother, was married into royalty since Sterry was only adopted into nobility, so rising up the ranks to marry royalty is possible. Kuma and Bonnie are possibly of a special race given their strength but it's also possible that it was Vega Punk that Bonnie was referring to. However, I'm more inclined to believe it's Kuma as Big Mom did mention a 3rd missing race, that was lost to time excluding giants and Lunarians..
Also I´d guess that Kumas size is what sigifies his special race status, but "Connie" just looked like a normal human, so the real Connie might be his mother in law, while Bonney didn´t inherit the size.
My wild theory is, the real/original/human Kuma is still well and alive, somewhere at Egghead. Then at some point, he will reunite with Bonney. Maybe the cyborg Kuma (pacifista) was just a double made by Vegapunk to deceive the World Goverment. 😁
If you go with him being based of the guy then his family could have died as well but not before sending him off with his wings taken off for protection/cover and then his story could play out the same assuming he's lunarian

When I saw his picture as a child I started to think his title "Tyrant" is somewhat justified. As in it was given to him by the World Government because he become the ruler of the country after removing the rulers from power. Now, with the information about Ninomiya Kinjirō, Im thinking he helped his kingdom to the point it started to thrive, and the people wanted the rulers out for him to become their new ruler. And considering One Piece, the rulers were pieces of shit and were associated with the W.G.. \o/ HEADCANON! \o/

I think the will of D. Is the will of DED... The people that don't rely on the celestials for their navigation through life.... OK so idk if anybody has thought of this but what if Kuma and blackbeard come from the same special people. What if this race of people were able to hold multiple devil fruits and thats why vegapunk was able to experiment on him by putting multiple devilfruits in him. Also they said Vegapunk was impressed by his muscles and latent ability. Blackbeard despite laying low for so many years on whiteboard crew had very impressive skills and strength. sharing my thoughts at 9:30 sp I don't know if this is adressed later in the video but... The word tyrant is one of those words where everyone knows the wrong definition. A tyrant is not defined by being a cruel and oppressive rule. A tyrant is defined by being an "illegal" ruler. In most monarchies, that comes down to a ruler who was not descended from the previous king. It may be a conqueror from some other land who seized power. It may be a leader of an uprising who threw out the previous king. Many possibilities. So with that in mind, Kuma being born as a peasant, and through his hard work obtaining notoriety and somewhere down the line ending up as king of the country as a benevolent ruler is 100% coherent with him being called a "tyrant". Also, the tenryuobito do NOT want to see stories about lower-class people climbing the ranks up to royalty. So obiously, they made sure to spin their own story about all this.

It is possible that the Sorbet Kingdom could be an Electoral Monarchy, where the king is elected from one of the Noble families and so Kuma, who had humble beginnings, did some great dead that meant he was granted nobility status, which meant one day he was elected king and hated the World Government due to maybe not being able to pay the protection fees or being a special species that was discriminated against byvthe World Government and joined the Revolutionaries, later got captured and the World Government crafted the story to the World that he was a Tyrant but not to the people of the Sorbet Kingdom who looked up to him.
I can see potential tragic backstory of kuma and dragon. What if kuma was dragon's best friend bcs he has the same view to the world govt and sorbet kindom was the first step of dragon revolutionary journey with his "first mate" kuma. The plan that makes kuma to be a pacifista was denied by dragon back then bcs he will lose his best friend. After some story finally dragon agreed but kept it secret from other RA officers. After all things about that plan is revealed, every officer of RA were mad of dragon making kuma did this "sacrifice" but actually dragon was the one who hurts the most about it and he will start to cry.

I dont think Kuma is a Lunarian. Nor do i really see why everyone is seemingly jumping straight to the lunarian conclussion. Other than them being recently relavent in the story. Kuma possesses little to no traits young or old associated with Lunarian.

The way everything has been set up by Oda, it's really seeming like the reasoning Kuma, Dragon, and Garp all hate the Tenryuubito because of kidnapping loved ones. It explains everything. We know they visit the kingdoms of the "lower realm" from time to time, and we know they're not bothered with marital status or even if they're royalty. In the end, there's no better reason to break the system than love.

Looking at young kuma, his head is shaved, and the shaved area is gray, this could mean his hair was dark when he was young, or it was a light gray/white indicating his lunarian lineage!!

I think we will find out that Kuma was an actual tyrant, or more so Kuma viewed his actions in that way at some point even if what he did wasn't really that bad or necessarily his fault. Just some event that he feels he needs to repent for which is why he was willing to go through such drastic actions in the first place.

Kuma and King are also the same age and King is Lunarian which Kuma might be as well. They were both experimented or at least studied by Vegapunk and Kuma was even fully modified. And we saw a seraph Kuma in this arc so I'm expecting some Lunarian lore from Vegapunk later on.

One thing that I thought about while listening to the end of the video is that bonnie could be Kuma's adoptive daughter or something of the sort. It's not something that would be unprecedented in One Piece considering that Luffy called Ace his brother making us think that they were related by blood when they were not. Also thinking more about it I realized that it wouldn't make sense since when Bonnie transforms into her older self that she resembles queen Connie which would mean that Connie is most likely Bonnies grandma. So what if Connie had a daughter that had a child (in this case Bonnie) and then she ended up dying (mother's in One Piece don't have a good track record of being alive). After that, we have Kuma who started becoming more important in the Sorbet kingdom like Ninomiya did when he was alive. Once he started getting a lot of recognition then the king and queen at the time might have decided to take him in and make him the king of the kingdom because it seemed like he would make a better king. That is when he took Bonnie in and she became his adoptive daughter. This would solve any problems related to Bonnie not being of the special race that Kuma is (Lunarian or otherwise) and her not even specifying if she is part of said race. At the end of the day this is all speculation and it could just be flat out wrong LMAO
When you have to go through a dozen hoops in an attempt to explain why Kuma could be a Lunarian I think it makes far more sense to just realize the theory is very flawed and unlikely
Personally I think Kuma and BB are the same race and it's not been revealed yet but will be this arc
Looking at Kuma's story from the perspective of him not needing to sleep like BB just makes so much sense

I recall that Franky was the first person to see Kuma and upon seeing Franky he stumbled off with some difficulty since he was apparently damaged during those two years.
Kuma could of become the king of the Sorbet Kingdom by marrying the princess and heir to the kingdom. Stelly, Sabo's adopted brother did the same. Now Stelly did because of politics and plotting and Kuma could have did it because of love, but the end result is still the same.

It is possible that Kuma married into royalty, so Bonnie is still the princess because she's connected by her maternal side, much like Dressrosa had Rebecca, but her mother left the throne due to marrying Kyros(and thinking the citizens wouldn't accept him as king), but it didn't disqualify her as princess after everything was settled back. Vivi is also the next in line so whoever she marries would become king. Also Sterry, Sabo's adoptive brother, was married into royalty since Sterry was only adopted into nobility, so rising up the ranks to marry royalty is possible.
Kuma and Bonnie are possibly of a special race given their strength but it's also possible that it was Vega Punk that Bonnie was referring to. However, I'm more inclined to believe it's Kuma as Big Mom did mention a 3rd missing race, that was lost to time excluding giants and Lunarians..

Also I´d guess that Kumas size is what sigifies his special race status, but "Connie" just looked like a normal human, so the real Connie might be his mother in law, while Bonney didn´t inherit the size.

My wild theory is that Kuma is Dragons brother in law. Luffys mom (Dragons wife Kumas sister) was killed/experimented by the world government. Would explain Dragons and Kumas closeness as well as their mutual hatred of the world government. Bonnie and Luffy have lots of similar traits……maybe cousins????
When I saw his picture as a child I started to think his title "Tyrant" is somewhat justified. As in it was given to him by the World Government because he become the ruler of the country after removing the rulers from power. Now, with the information about Ninomiya Kinjirō, Im thinking he helped his kingdom to the point it started to thrive, and the people wanted the rulers out for him to become their new ruler. And considering One Piece, the rulers were pieces of shit and were associated with the W.G..

OK so idk if anybody has thought of this but what if Kuma and blackbeard come from the same special people. What if this race of people were able to hold multiple devil fruits and thats why vegapunk was able to experiment on him by putting multiple devilfruits in him. Also they said Vegapunk was impressed by his muscles and latent ability. Blackbeard despite laying low for so many years on whiteboard crew had very impressive skills and strength. Perhaps a trait from the shared lineage?

sharing my thoughts at 9:30 sp I don't know if this is adressed later in the video but... The word tyrant is one of those words where everyone knows the wrong definition. A tyrant is not defined by being a cruel and oppressive rule. A tyrant is defined by being an "illegal" ruler. In most monarchies, that comes down to a ruler who was not descended from the previous king. It may be a conqueror from some other land who seized power. It may be a leader of an uprising who threw out the previous king. Many possibilities.
So with that in mind, Kuma being born as a peasant, and through his hard work obtaining notoriety and somewhere down the line ending up as king of the country as a benevolent ruler is 100% coherent with him being called a "tyrant".
Also, the tenryuobito do NOT want to see stories about lower-class people climbing the ranks up to royalty. So obiously, they made sure to spin their own story about all this.

It is possible that the Sorbet Kingdom could be an Electoral Monarchy, where the king is elected from one of the Noble families and so Kuma, who had humble beginnings, did some great dead that meant he was granted nobility status, which meant one day he was elected king and hated the World Government due to maybe not being able to pay the protection fees or being a special species that was discriminated against byvthe World Government and joined the Revolutionaries, later got captured and the World Government crafted the story to the World that he was a Tyrant but not to the people of the Sorbet Kingdom who looked up to him.
I can see potential tragic backstory of kuma and dragon. What if kuma was dragon's best friend bcs he has the same view to the world govt and sorbet kindom was the first step of dragon revolutionary journey with his "first mate" kuma.
The plan that makes kuma to be a pacifista was denied by dragon back then bcs he will lose his best friend. After some story finally dragon agreed but kept it secret from other RA officers.

The way everything has been set up by Oda, it's really seeming like the reasoning Kuma, Dragon, and Garp all hate the Tenryuubito because of kidnapping loved ones. It explains everything. We know they visit the kingdoms of the "lower realm" from time to time, and we know they're not bothered with marital status or even if they're royalty.
In the end, there's no better reason to break the system than love.
