I saw these guys open for jimmy eat World and Weezer in 2000.They blew me away and warped my mind in the most delicious direction. After seeing tenacious D at wings stadium in Kalamazoo my life was forever changed. I didn’t need to stay for jimmy or rivers act but I couldn’t drive so I had to wait for my ride back. I saw the D live once. They were promoting Rise of the Phoenix and it was one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. It was like 28 bucks to get in. JB and KG are legends.

Tim Minchin is a great example - one of the best musical comedians but he's done some non-comedy stuff and it's mediocre compared to the comedy
I dunno why it is giving me Simon & Garfunkel vibes, where majority of the songs was just guitar and singing... no fancy effects, just vocals and instruments. I love it and man I would love to enjoy them watch live!

Jack's best performance was in the movie "High Fidelity". When he retooled his band to sing "Let's Get It On", it was magic.
