I bought the Kingdom hearts novel collection.
And I’ve decided to read it, take a fuck ton of notes and answer a bunch of questions.
What are the characters actually thinking?
What is the actual plot of Kingdom hearts?
Is the story actually good?
Is soriku actually going to blow up in the next few games?
Or is the game just a basic ass sora and Kairi relationship.
This is part one
And it may end up taking a year
But It will probably be about
13 parts.

Really loved your thoughts on this beginning, I pretty much agree with you! You just made a few tiny mistakes, just that the grandma never got to the islands, and that Ansem doesn't say to sora he will open the door to light, that's mickey at the end of the game referring to the ending of kh2

thank you for making these, i’m excited to see where this series goes! i’m a recent subscriber & found your channel through your earlier soriku videos. kingdom hearts as a series taught me a lot about my gender identity and my sexuality when i was a kid, & revisiting the games in adulthood has shone a much brighter light on the queer undertones i picked up on a long time ago. it’s really cool to hear about the novelizations from someone else who cares deeply about this series and these characters.
