I Knitted A Full Length Dress in 12 Days 🎉
Hello and welcome to another knitting challenge!
In this video I set out on an epic scrap yarn project - knitting a full length dress in just 12 (!?!) days.
Follow along behind the scenes where I struggle with color choices, dress length issues and all the ins and outs of designing my first ever Summer dress.

Ahahahaha, your husband reminds me so much of my partner. 😂 I don't know if it's the same, but he really struggles to see the end result when yarn is just sitting on the couch in balls. It's only when I put on the final result that he finally goes, "OHHHHHH. Oh yeah, it's good." (To be fair, I do the same thing with his cooking lol)

Today I found a knitter new to me who has downloaded your salty days sweater pattern and begun it in a beautiful cobalt blue. Just stunning. Your channel is a lot of fun - you enjoy your work, your husband seems so proud and you make such lovely things.

I love that you made the point that knitting at speed is not the aim. At least for me it’s all about meditation and mindfulness. Even after I finish a project I like to give myself a hot minute before casting on again just to ensure I continue to enjoy it. ❤

I just received the yarn for the Lazy Cat Sweater so this beanie is a good warm-up to get the rhythm of the brioche stitch. Always---look forward to more.

Hey Kika, I love this dress! I bought the pattern this morning, along with the Lola top and Salty days Sweater patterns. I have the yarn for the last two already and ordered yarn today to make two dresses. I cannot wait! My Arctic light sweater is being blocked atm and is taking its time to dry, but I love how it turned out. Very excited to see you working on a design for a top and skirt pattern too! ❤

I bought the pattern! I'm so excited (and a bit nervous) to start this dress. I may try to turn it into a top and skirt somehow because I'm due to have my third child in December and I need it to be nursing-friendly!
