- Two new motorcycle brands - Moto Morini and Zontes, have launched in India! Amongst the multitude of bikes they've launched, their advs - the X-Cape 650X and the 350T ADV, respectively, have caught Varun Painter's eye. Especially since his playground was an off-road park. Like butter on a hot toast then! Both adventure motorcycles look beefy and carry ample equipment to go over almost any surface you desire. But we don't ride the spec sheets, do we? So here's Varun's detailed ride review of the two motorcycles.

Varun Painter has always been one of the best motorcycle reviewers , he has a complete different approach and speaks from his heart. One of the reasons why still subscribed to powerdrift.

As usual unbiased opinion by Varun; I, too, share a love-hate relationship with the Tiger Sport 660. I've always had doubts about the Zontes ADV, especially when we have better options. But the 350X should be a better package for normal bikers who wish to start touring and do what the Tiger Sport 660 couldn't in it's segment. Awaiting a comprehensive road-focused review.

India needs a Good competitive motorcycle in 650cc segment agree they expensive and good but hopefully this should solve the game and I wish the seat height was higher for an Adv

"Feel", this highly subjective and metaphysical term is quite an importance. The Himalayan sucks on features and sounds like its engine is going to fall apart, use the word "feel" as a saving grace of the review. It feels great! And brand that you don't like which gives feature loaded bike, throw in the word "feel" to undermine it, it doesn't "feel" great. Convenient.

After looking at Zontes 350T, the TVS Ronin's design doesn't look confusing anymore.

What is the benefit of keyless if you have to store the key on the bike?
You can leave the keys in your pocket, don’t have to stick it in the box . I own a Zontes T310 in the UK

Moto Morini - Cross of a Tiger 660 and Africa Twin, The Zontes - looks like the updated version with gadgets of the Benelli 502x.
It all comes down to service cost, parts availability, service centres, frequency of wear and tear, cost of spares.
