Wear OS 5 is confirmed to come out in 2024. Most likely it will be released alongside the Galaxy Watch 7 with One UI 6 Watch 6.

A better battery life is what most people would like and yes I'd say the same but idk if a watered down wear os would be able to fulfil those expectations
I upgraded to the watch 6 from the 4 back in February. I like being a little behind as the watch 4 as good as it was, was basically a beta version for 6mths never had all its features in place depending on your market. The watch 4 I finished with was fantastic and my 6 doesn't feel like a huge step up, but I see little tweaks (the screen for example) that makes me feel it was worth it.
From my point of view I think GW 7 should do several upgrades from battery life, all around better sensors to GPS accuracy. After using 3 generations of Samsung GW watches I will wait what GW7 is bringing to the table but with all this aside I'm leaning towards Garming watches for my personal use (I think the change of "ecosystem" would be fun to play with). We need updated HR, etc sensors as Samsung are still not updating these, whereas everyone else is, so unless the sensors are very much updated its the same old watch as even the Galaxy 4
I cant wait for the GW7 in the Pro or Classic version. I love my GW6 classic but im constantly having to switch things off to keep battery life acceptable. Thanks for sharing the info on whats to come

Looking forward to wear OS 5 on my Galaxy Watch 6 and oneplus watch 2. Samsung definitely needs to upgrade the sensors. They're trash. Inaccurate readings when it comes to heart rate and heart rate zones while doing higher intensity exercises. Sometimes the watch does not read the heart rate while working out. That's frustrating. I have the problem with the Galaxy watch 4, 5 and 6. The OnePlus watch is doing a much better job. I love this watch!.

Bring back custom ringtones like my old Galaxy Watch 46mm (tizen) b4 i updated a few months ago. I was like, watch ringtones sounded like alarms tones. Miss it because it was louder and it also worked with find my phone & watch vice versa.
Google Maps Should be able to override always on display when driving so my watch doesnt black out. I should not have to manually do that before every drive!
I hope it brings Bluetooth LE audio/LC3 and Auracast to my watch 6
Can it detect sleep apnea ? Is this watch comparable to the Apple Watch?
Damn if Samsung doesn't fix the caller id issue after they broke it with wear os 5 on the watch 4 for some users I will be really torn 😕 it's been many months that I am facing this issue and a fix isn't released yet. Totally sucks

My wish list is short. Better battery life. I used to get 2 days of battery but, after the last update I only get about a day and a half on my Galaxy watch 6. 👍
