Every review after the patch has been with bloodied, which really changes how you can use it Full health, i have to use it like a plasma caster, vats head shots, no critical, vampire effect to kill a lv 100 super mutant in one shot, multi barrel still works for this As bloodied I can use it like a launcher and let the dot clean up enemies

he does have a bloodied build tho, just not using bloodied as a legendary mod, only difference really is his vats hit chance and the damage is higher in the weapon stats. Aristocrats will work well with it also if you cant get Instigating
What are you talking about? I'm full health, use it as a launcher and let the dot clean up. For me, one shot with the multi barrel and slow burn tank will kill most normal enemies, up to about a level 100 yao guai. Mine is anti armor crit damage, so nothing to boost the dot
With the new update, 10 Fuel per shot, you can get 18 shots from Huge tank before you have to reload. That negates the reload speed in my opinion, because I always have time for a tactical reload before I run out of ammo.
not if the reload speed is negligible, which is what happens when you have the fast tank and a reload perk or buff like as the 3rd star of the legendary
By far, the best weapon for those events where you have to Defend an NPC (Project Paradise, Radiation Rumble) when you mix it with the Friendly Fire perk
Dude, yes. On test your metal I've been climbing the wall and literally just targeting the allies who run around and die constantly. With the multi barrel the spread is perfect for hitting anything near the allies and it heals anyone near him because the explosion is so big, its perfect
Omg! Great Tutorial! After seeing this I immediately went to roll a few more Cremator. And I got a good one!!! Instigators with +25 Aim Dmg, and +15 VATS Crit Charge! Not the perfect, but it's still AWESOME! Thank you Turtle!
This is what I've been doing. I've seen so many people complain about the 12 second duration,but after having played dot classes my whole life, I saw it as "that's 2 ticks to lay down suppressive fire with a railway or a handmade"
@@noahfloah8568 not sure there even a best but making sure the dot is always rolling on target is a great way to keep your sustained damage higher than people who aren't dotting, that much is clear.
You should name it - Cremator DoT build. Anti-Armor with 50crit and heavy barrel with slow-burn is amazing on bosses and great for all around play. The dot here is not the same of course as with bloodied/instigating with damage while aiming, but the latter is full dot all the way with multi shot barrel. I have AA/50crit and B/+25 while aiming and both are wonderful for their purpose.
7:04 That's a bug/exploit that has been in the game for god knows how many years. You can replicate it with 90% of all weapons and it works best with weapons/launchers that only have 1 round since it will duplicate it and not use the ammo. Fatman has 1/1 magazine, meaning it will duplicate the other shot and not use your ammo. A Plasma Caster has 16/16 shots, using this method, you will fire 2 shots extremely fast but you'll be left with 14/16 ammo, but if u have 1/16 ammo in your Plasma Caster, using this method again, will fire another shot even though u are at 0/16 ammo. Overkill Fatman shoots twice, if u shoot and aim, it will fire 4 nukes instead of 2. So if you have an Overkill Fatman with a MIRV installed... You can fire 4 nukes... which will be split into more mini nukes themselves... AKA, nuke your FPS and EYES AKA Best use it with weapons that only have 1 clip/round If LAG & FPS is on your side, you can almost automatic fire a Fatman...for the price of 1 ammo
Turtle, there is 1 more tank modification you dont appear to have. It is the large propellant tank. It previously held 135 ammo, and is only available to learn by scrapping Cremator. Not as good as Fast Tank IMO, but I wanted to mention. Thank you for the vid. Also, aiming directly after shooting to shoot a second shoot quickly works with almost every gun. Ive been using that tech for great effect using Guass Shotgun and AGL on a non-vats build.

With an instigating on my full health I prefer Napalm over slow and a heavy barrel, anything less than a boss burns down in a few seconds if it doesn't die from impact so the longer burn is really not doing anything. And that is on my gunslinger/medic build with no heavy cards, using crit savy and better crits and all the vats cards. Also that is a no power armor build with asbestos lining on my solar armor, so I can use it point blank and take no damage. My bloodied heavy gunner toon uses power armor and burns itself down all the time :P
Yeah I think slow-burn is overrated unless one is worried about ammo consumption. The DoT doesn’t stack anyway, so who wants to stand around waiting for the timer?
Explosive perks still work on it although not as strong as before but still great to keep in the build dot also benefits I was getting 30% more dps using it vs not
Low health commando build here and I used the Cremator during the alien event, holy cow. It's powerful and I'm not spec'd for it. I was able to take down all the Lieutenants no problem. Especially since we've got all noobs on playstation, they try hard, but die often.
Yo is it energy damage or what that the aliens do to you? At 350 hp they just melt my health bar through my power armour and I'm unsure if they're ganking me or what. And how tf do I destroy the alien drones (if cremator is not an option, it did okay against some I came across outside the event)? I can't seem to deal good damage to them.
@AngryTurtle have you tried two shot. Now that the modifications are relaxed (I did it for the hell of it and it seems to work slightly better but I'm not a tester like you, I would love to see your deep dive)
I've been having issues with group looting when the enemies are killed by the DOT versus a direct hit. I can still loot the enemies but I have to go to each individual body and loot it.
Whats your build? What do your perk cards look like? Buffs? Right now i have the same roll insti/25dwa/15r and i do 46x4/ 1365 over 12s and i just can't fathom how your doing 77x4/3400 fire.
Thats the thing, I like that you aren't thinking to try to take all the xp from an event. Thats a GREAT way to do it if you want to bring it to an event! Shoot once, every so often, to tag & move on. I just have to laugh when I see people come into public events & use grenades or large aoe weapons to try to take everything for themselves. It's not that serious, theres more xp to be had, like everywhere. It's a public event, for everyone, save the solo play for after the event. A lot of times there a lower level characters just trying to tag something & can barely get a tag anywhere in events when this happens. I mean I guess to each their own, but, it's really not something you would do in person in a public space, try to hog all the goodies for yourself, so why do it online? I guess maybe some of you are haha, but, In events I try to just tag stuff if I want to, or help out by keeping a post up or an npc alive, whichever the goal. I usually use lower dmg weapons at events as there are usually less enemies than players can easily handle, outside of like a couple, but then, like I said, I just keep an area covered. The most annoying thing is when someone comes in & is repeatedly spamming explosive weapons at an event that in no way needs it. No one is over run, they are just blowing out our screens with their explosions, so we can't even see to find the enemies, for no reason. I usually just leave at that point, because to each their own, I'm not going to tell anyone how to game, but, if thats the way they want to do it, it's just a bummer for the other players.
If you do more damage to enemies do you get better rewards at completion of event? I try to kill stuff not for taking as much XP but for getting good rewards. Unless damage done doesn't do that.
Turtle when you’re wearing strangler heart your tag everything in your globe and if you wear Sprangler heart and use a weapon with an AOE whether as a dot or not like a grenade launcher, for instance you poison everything caught in AOE even if it doesn’t die to the explosion it’s tagged by the explosion and it’s poisonand since they bust up, Spangler are recently obviously not at the time of this video. That’s a much bigger affect now easiest way to tag things. This is just being a strangler heart while you’re moving around whether you shoot at it or not, you tag it.
How can you reach 760 of dmg o. Impact and 4540 of burning dmg ? I m only at 264 on impact and 1577 on dot . Is it because of your lvl or i miss something ?

I am running a Vamps, Limb, Reload Cremator with Fire proof and Sizziling Style perks. What usually do is Vats the head or legs (mostly head because of how the fireball goes up and hit the head lol) and then fire at the ground when they get close. I’m still trying to check if I get healed from the burn but by far that’s the best cremator for me.

Pretty cool! I've been having a ball with the Cremator! I have an Instigating with +50 Vats hit chance and -25% Vats cost per shot. I also have a Bloodied with limb damage and 90% reduced weight. These have to be, hands down, the most fun weapons for a very long time! When they said they were going to "Adjust" the damage, with the last update, my heart sank. But thankfully, they didn't nerf the initial damage, but really enhanced the slow burn damage, making it more well rounded. I'm going to have to try the double barrel, for boss fights. The multi shot barrel is the best, especially for Radiation Rumble, and Eviction notice. I'm going to have to try them without Grenadier, because the blast with it is so blinding, and I just wonder how much extra damage I'm really doing... It's funny, because I mainly use Grenadier for my Tesla, LOL!
im not getting nearly that much damage over time or per shot. Im getting like 300 per shot and 1200 burn with the same mods equipped. What am I doing wrong here?
@@xKiinqFuFuxScience perks don't do anything for this weapon. It's not REALLY an energy weapon, it's a HEAVY. The ammo is energy, so Batteries Included works with it.

Thank you for the updated infos! ❤ I'm running a Multi-Shot Slow-Burning Vampire one, and it works like a charm. I don't even bother to get rid of the Demolition Expert perk as I have no use for those 5 points as my build is already full. 😅 The only thing I wanna do, as I can't rely on Instigating for impact damage increase, as I'm using Multi-Shot and not Heavy barrel to trigger 4x healing would be to increase DoT. I don't need Anti-Armor as I'm a full-HP Power Armor user, so Stabilized does that. Extra Fire Rate would be also useless as DoT doesn't stack with itself, so I need to let those 12 seconds do the job and not fire more often for being useless to do so. So, my question is: in such setup, the only legendary effect that would increase DoT would be +25% while aiming, right?
the bug that makes the gun shoot a little bit faster when initiating aiming while firing ALSO does the same thing with the AGL! with the AGL, it fires just fast enough that I can squeeze out a third shot out of the barrel in the time it would take for one shot to be fired and land from a short-to-medium distance.
So trying to understand the DOT refresh. If say, i shoot earle with instigating, will refreshing the dot maintain the instigating damage bonus for the entire fight as long as i dont let it drop? or will it be replaced by a lesser dot as soon as it stops counting as "full health" Trying to understand if I should avoid shooting after a crit, for example if I am just immediately downgrading the dot. I am thinking, stealth headshot crit to open the fight, and maintain that bonus the entire fight? with an instigating/bonus crit weapon. would that be sustainable? or would all those bonuses go away 12 seconds into the fight or as soon as i fired a second shot from that weapon
Here is what I found: Before patch: I was killed myself with this weapon more than my enemies. Explosive being the cause. After the patch: I can shoot point blank, no problem. I kill less, however. Still, the 10 instead of 15 ammo per shot helps somewhat. DOT??? Good for Uber Players, bad for my 100 - 200 level like me, they kill me before the stupid DOT kills them. Conclusion: Getting back to my beloved Vampire Flamer 😊 Note: VATS precision is weaker with Cremator, but you can shoot further and wipe out some weaker enemies faster. A Vampire more silent weapon, like the Flamer is more usable.
I can see this working well for the Scorch queen, hit her, turn and start hitting the adds, then hit her again, rinse repeat. You can do alot of damage on her and kill alot of adds at the same time.
Hey turtle. I believe your last build around boss battles, specifically the Gatling plasma was almost a year ago now. With the anti armor change this last year, would it be better to run Anti-Armor or bloodied when fighting bosses, specifically if I plan on speed running with VATS criticals. ?
just from my small testing at West Tek with Slow Burner Cremators. Atleast here on PS5 Instigating isn't working on the Cremator & dmg while aiming only works if you keep Aiming ... tested Instigating against Bloodied & Bloodied always won (on 3 different Servers with various builds) like i said that's atleast on PS5 (tested for around 1hr)
By basic math huge tank is higher dps. You get twice the ammo vs 50% reload penalty. After any sample size in multiples of 9 over 18 the huge tank wins 36 shots = 1 huge tank reload 36 shots = 3 fast tank reloads If standard tank reload x=1 then Huge tank = 1.2 reload time for 36 shots Fast tank = .7 x 3 = 2.1 reload time for 36 shots
With the instigating double fire glitch would the second shot on a target you already hit ruin the dot damage boost or just refresh the timer and keep the damage value?
Any tips on which perks work best for the Cremator? Does Grenadier affect the explosion radius? Does Demolition Expert benefit the damage at all? Do those heavy gunner cards (more damage with non-explosive heavy weapons) work? I’m still crawling through the season, hopefully will roll a good Cremator soon!
Grenadier? yes (better explosion radius) Demolition Expert? yes (only for explotion/direct damage ) heavy gunners perk? also yes (increase both explotion/direct demage and DOT) FYI before patched, a multi-barrel napalm (grenadier, demolition, 3 heavy gunners, 3 expert hg , 3 master hg) will kill any lesser mobs instantly like super mutant in eviction note without even the DOTS kicking in because the explotion damage with multi-barrel still 100% damage x 4. now after patched explotion/direct impact damage from multi-barrel/napalm really low, so for multi-barrel better use slow-burning because its main purpose to hit many enemies as you can and let the DOT Kills them, more like fire and forget, my cremator now multi-barrel slow-burn (before multi-barrel napalm), and i dropped demolition expert since it didnt decrease the DOT and only used as tagging weapon for events like radiation rumble/eviction etc.

I recommend stealth. For some reason im able to stay hidden when crouched, with sneak operative my heavy barrel cremator does 1,4k on head with impact only dot wasnt needed at all(with vampire mod, instigating/bloodied dmg would be higher) - not even specced as heavy gunner. Cruised through my daily ops this way
Does Taking One for the Team legendary perk max rank works with the DoT by applying the 40% more damage to aggro enemies when they attack you, if you're on a team OR the percent from the perk apply only for the direct damage of the Cremator? 40% more DoT damage would mean an astonishing damage boost...
Running a B50c cremator with heavy/slow and seeing the biggest crits of my gametime to date: 3500 head crit on General Zeta. 3100 on dops boss. Without Strange in Numbers!!! I'm sure it could be a little more with heavy/napalmer, but since bloodied affects the dot, it's nice to get that >4k/12 ticking on anything unfortunate enough to be close to my target.
How is your Cremator's DoT damage improved? At 6:00 you show your Instigating Cremator and its DoT damage is 3390. I have the same roll and mine is 3193.

BIG QUESTION: Demo Expert... I noticed that the DOT doesn't change on the weapon description with Demo Expert on or off. So, if using multi-shot for DOT damage, can I free up 5 slots in INT by removing Demo????? That would be HUGE!
I use this for speed running the most sensational game for fast stamps. The overgrown and humans seem very weak to this and you can just shoot it and run past without looking back
Work on the charger you’re hearing at in fact works very well. The way my weapon is configured. It is because I can craft that and I just came back and it had really Santa so I put on it. 100% reduces the target hour by 50% and up the immediate fire damage of like well when I got adrenaline stacked up it’s well over 600 that damage all goes because I have stabilized which works with that weapon as well and run the weapon. I’m getting 75% reduction so the target die the targets around take that But that is going to do massive damage pass for even kill them before I can pick another target anytime but for certain whatever I should die what time adrenaline backed up I stood on the roof just a week ago at West Tech. I was was not there to check the damage, but I was checking band function, cause I keep hearing people say and armor doesn’t work they don’t say an arm doesn’t work with a dot. They hear people like you say and armor doesn’t work with the dot their ears just here and armor doesn’t work. It’s bad it’s not bad. You can’t kill all those superman with that they always not big enough. You can’t gather them together like you do in MMO by cutting them around you have more grouped up so you really can’t use that damage to kill large group except for goals. The only group you can do that with our goal because they will watch you cut them around and gather them and then drop a big data on them And jump on the roof and just wait for them all to drop if that’s your thing something else in the game does that well except maybe when they go in and when you do Earl, they’ll all like block on the people and you can drop a data on them and then move on if you want Who is the patient for that especially when they’re on you especially back when you were making this video and you couldn’t use armor because well you could, but had to sacrifice special wines and what says one skyline otherwise you touch yourself on fire and you would die. I haven’t used my cremator in the last few days Because that’s were off. There was no doubt going on at all not from anything not from that from all cocktail, not from the dot on any of the auto act or the auto act with that not from none of the do that arm bleed, not from bleed that from a chainsaw with a long bar, none of the dots were working they just came back on a few days ago And they’re working like a champ again, but I haven’t tried the cremator. I suspect I once again can’t use it in power armor because AOE will set you on fire and you will lose massive. Hell which is another reason why that weapon is in five a very special unique weapon unlike explosion which you can avoid with assassin you can’t avoid fire damage that way it doesn’t work at least it didn’t used to maybe that’s why I’m not taking fire damage now, but I kind of think it was because the dots were off. I’m gonna test it as soon as I can now that I’ve thought of it because I do use a cremator a lot back. It’s one of my primary weapon because it has its range weapon. You can shoot it at a decent bit away from you. It’s OK to use in advance And is chill or day-to-day running around killing kills and Ferrell is easy to come by like I said the converter as I’m moving that supply just keep taking ammo and feeding it in and taking out what you want. I have not manufactured ammo except for challengers that say you know crap 50 ammo or whatever that’s the only why I made it cheer Since we had that converter guy run around using that weapon a lot and it’s a very versatile weapon and I 100% would not recommend anything by an armor because your immediate goal is to kill your target whatever it is and if you’re shooting at a boss, you don’t care about the mob around the boss, but you do care about reducing the bosses fire resistanceas much as possible so you can do damage to the bosses out and that’s where the armor comes in the play

I'm confused. Just got the creator, don't have the mods yet. Rolled a bloodied and an anti armor. I'm a bloodied build, but I'm sure the anti armor does more damage than the bloodied one 😕 Testing it on super mutants at West Tek...
The cremator self damage dot can be canceled if you swap weapons. Also how are you not losing ap during vats on scorch beast queen. I know canned coffee restores ap over time are you spamming them?
so yesterday i rolled a cremator with Quad, 25% fire rate and breaks slower . i normally run and explosive build and use a AA FLAMER as my boss killer but i was thinking of swapping out my nuka launcher for this being this is a quad and i plan on using it for my day to day im just curious what mods i should use on this ?

heavy barrel instigating still one shots super mutants with a couple of adrenalin stacks. With crit headshots you will overkill them a lot -

I have a quad cremator with 25% faster fire and 90% weight reduction. Love it.

Dude, yes. On test your metal I've been climbing the wall and literally just targeting the allies who run around and die constantly. With the multi barrel the spread is perfect for hitting anything near the allies and it heals anyone near him because the explosion is so big, its perfect

Still feel best use of cremator with boss type enemies is to just apply the dot and then switch to another weapon as it ticks.
Bingo! This is the only use case for this weapon now. Cremator is just a heavy syringer.
This is what I've been doing. I've seen so many people complain about the 12 second duration,but after having played dot classes my whole life, I saw it as "that's 2 ticks to lay down suppressive fire with a railway or a handmade"
So what's the best dps combo? Cremator dot and switch to a plasma caster with a vats crit build?
I hit with DOT then switch to my plasma caster for a few shots then switch back and reapply the DOT
@@noahfloah8568 not sure there even a best but making sure the dot is always rolling on target is a great way to keep your sustained damage higher than people who aren't dotting, that much is clear.

You should name it - Cremator DoT build.
Anti-Armor with 50crit and heavy barrel with slow-burn is amazing on bosses and great for all around play. The dot here is not the same of course as with bloodied/instigating with damage while aiming, but the latter is full dot all the way with multi shot barrel.
I have AA/50crit and B/+25 while aiming and both are wonderful for their purpose.
7:04 That's a bug/exploit that has been in the game for god knows how many years. You can replicate it with 90% of all weapons and it works best with weapons/launchers that only have 1 round since it will duplicate it and not use the ammo. Fatman has 1/1 magazine, meaning it will duplicate the other shot and not use your ammo. A Plasma Caster has 16/16 shots, using this method, you will fire 2 shots extremely fast but you'll be left with 14/16 ammo, but if u have 1/16 ammo in your Plasma Caster, using this method again, will fire another shot even though u are at 0/16 ammo.
Overkill Fatman shoots twice, if u shoot and aim, it will fire 4 nukes instead of 2. So if you have an Overkill Fatman with a MIRV installed... You can fire 4 nukes... which will be split into more mini nukes themselves... AKA, nuke your FPS and EYES

If LAG & FPS is on your side, you can almost automatic fire a Fatman...for the price of 1 ammo

Turtle, there is 1 more tank modification you dont appear to have. It is the large propellant tank. It previously held 135 ammo, and is only available to learn by scrapping Cremator. Not as good as Fast Tank IMO, but I wanted to mention. Thank you for the vid.
Also, aiming directly after shooting to shoot a second shoot quickly works with almost every gun. Ive been using that tech for great effect using Guass Shotgun and AGL on a non-vats build.
Please consider a cremator 3.0 setup for the new balance changes on the PTS
Aiming thing also works with broadsiders and harpoon guns. Also will work on last shot even if there's no ammo left

With an instigating on my full health I prefer Napalm over slow and a heavy barrel, anything less than a boss burns down in a few seconds if it doesn't die from impact so the longer burn is really not doing anything. And that is on my gunslinger/medic build with no heavy cards, using crit savy and better crits and all the vats cards. Also that is a no power armor build with asbestos lining on my solar armor, so I can use it point blank and take no damage. My bloodied heavy gunner toon uses power armor and burns itself down all the time :P
Yeah I think slow-burn is overrated unless one is worried about ammo consumption. The DoT doesn’t stack anyway, so who wants to stand around waiting for the timer?
That ADS bug applies to the Plasma caster as well. I actually take advantage of it for a semi auto plasma caster in boss fights
Explosive perks still work on it although not as strong as before but still great to keep in the build dot also benefits I was getting 30% more dps using it vs not

Low health commando build here and I used the Cremator during the alien event, holy cow. It's powerful and I'm not spec'd for it. I was able to take down all the Lieutenants no problem. Especially since we've got all noobs on playstation, they try hard, but die often.

Yo is it energy damage or what that the aliens do to you? At 350 hp they just melt my health bar through my power armour and I'm unsure if they're ganking me or what. And how tf do I destroy the alien drones (if cremator is not an option, it did okay against some I came across outside the event)? I can't seem to deal good damage to them.

The extra shot while aiming works on multiple weapons. I do that as part of my normal attacks with my double barrel shotgun.
I've been having issues with group looting when the enemies are killed by the DOT versus a direct hit. I can still loot the enemies but I have to go to each individual body and loot it.

Thats the thing, I like that you aren't thinking to try to take all the xp from an event. Thats a GREAT way to do it if you want to bring it to an event! Shoot once, every so often, to tag & move on. I just have to laugh when I see people come into public events & use grenades or large aoe weapons to try to take everything for themselves. It's not that serious, theres more xp to be had, like everywhere. It's a public event, for everyone, save the solo play for after the event. A lot of times there a lower level characters just trying to tag something & can barely get a tag anywhere in events when this happens. I mean I guess to each their own, but, it's really not something you would do in person in a public space, try to hog all the goodies for yourself, so why do it online? I guess maybe some of you are haha, but, In events I try to just tag stuff if I want to, or help out by keeping a post up or an npc alive, whichever the goal. I usually use lower dmg weapons at events as there are usually less enemies than players can easily handle, outside of like a couple, but then, like I said, I just keep an area covered. The most annoying thing is when someone comes in & is repeatedly spamming explosive weapons at an event that in no way needs it. No one is over run, they are just blowing out our screens with their explosions, so we can't even see to find the enemies, for no reason. I usually just leave at that point, because to each their own, I'm not going to tell anyone how to game, but, if thats the way they want to do it, it's just a bummer for the other players.

If you do more damage to enemies do you get better rewards at completion of event? I try to kill stuff not for taking as much XP but for getting good rewards. Unless damage done doesn't do that.

Turtle when you’re wearing strangler heart your tag everything in your globe and if you wear Sprangler heart and use a weapon with an AOE whether as a dot or not like a grenade launcher, for instance you poison everything caught in AOE even if it doesn’t die to the explosion it’s tagged by the explosion and it’s poisonand since they bust up, Spangler are recently obviously not at the time of this video. That’s a much bigger affect now easiest way to tag things. This is just being a strangler heart while you’re moving around whether you shoot at it or not, you tag it.

For my full health I use junkies instead of instigating and with the quad barrel, works great against a lot of things
1:18 so is the first mod,(excluding paints) you can unlock at page 8 and the rest of the mods in the next four pages? And you can craft them like learned plan mods right? The reward image looks like it's one of those scrap mods.
If you scrap cremators, you can unlock ‘large propellant tank’ that adds +50%ammo capacity at minor AP cost.
Most weapons can be shot twice, they can also shoot twice with the price of 1 missile, 40mm grenades and Mini Nukes.
Question. Was instigating causing the dot damage to be doubled what was displayed without showing it? Somewhere around 7000+ for dot?

I am running a Vamps, Limb, Reload Cremator with Fire proof and Sizziling Style perks. What usually do is Vats the head or legs (mostly head because of how the fireball goes up and hit the head lol) and then fire at the ground when they get close. I’m still trying to check if I get healed from the burn but by far that’s the best cremator for me.

I've been having a ball with the Cremator!
I have an Instigating with +50 Vats hit chance and -25% Vats cost per shot.
I also have a Bloodied with limb damage and 90% reduced weight.
These have to be, hands down, the most fun weapons for a very long time!
When they said they were going to "Adjust" the damage, with the last update, my heart sank.
But thankfully, they didn't nerf the initial damage, but really enhanced the slow burn damage, making it more well rounded.
I'm going to have to try the double barrel, for boss fights.
The multi shot barrel is the best, especially for Radiation Rumble, and Eviction notice.
I'm going to have to try them without Grenadier, because the blast with it is so blinding, and I just wonder how much extra damage I'm really doing...
It's funny, because I mainly use Grenadier for my Tesla, LOL!
im not getting nearly that much damage over time or per shot. Im getting like 300 per shot and 1200 burn with the same mods equipped. What am I doing wrong here?
How high is your INT ? Im using scientist to increase the dmg because its energy based.

The ammo is energy, so Batteries Included works with it.

I'm running a Multi-Shot Slow-Burning Vampire one, and it works like a charm. I don't even bother to get rid of the Demolition Expert perk as I have no use for those 5 points as my build is already full. 😅
The only thing I wanna do, as I can't rely on Instigating for impact damage increase, as I'm using Multi-Shot and not Heavy barrel to trigger 4x healing would be to increase DoT. I don't need Anti-Armor as I'm a full-HP Power Armor user, so Stabilized does that. Extra Fire Rate would be also useless as DoT doesn't stack with itself, so I need to let those 12 seconds do the job and not fire more often for being useless to do so.
So, my question is: in such setup, the only legendary effect that would increase DoT would be +25% while aiming, right?
the bug that makes the gun shoot a little bit faster when initiating aiming while firing ALSO does the same thing with the AGL! with the AGL, it fires just fast enough that I can squeeze out a third shot out of the barrel in the time it would take for one shot to be fired and land from a short-to-medium distance.
So ironically which would be best a Bloodied or Instigating Cremator for the best damage output?

So trying to understand the DOT refresh. If say, i shoot earle with instigating, will refreshing the dot maintain the instigating damage bonus for the entire fight as long as i dont let it drop?
or will it be replaced by a lesser dot as soon as it stops counting as "full health"
Trying to understand if I should avoid shooting after a crit, for example if I am just immediately downgrading the dot.
I am thinking, stealth headshot crit to open the fight, and maintain that bonus the entire fight? with an instigating/bonus crit weapon.
would that be sustainable? or would all those bonuses go away 12 seconds into the fight or as soon as i fired a second shot from that weapon

Here is what I found:
Before patch: I was killed myself with this weapon more than my enemies. Explosive being the cause.
After the patch: I can shoot point blank, no problem. I kill less, however. Still, the 10 instead of 15 ammo per shot helps somewhat.
DOT??? Good for Uber Players, bad for my 100 - 200 level like me, they kill me before the stupid DOT kills them.
Conclusion: Getting back to my beloved Vampire Flamer 😊
Note: VATS precision is weaker with Cremator, but you can shoot further and wipe out some weaker enemies faster.
A Vampire more silent weapon, like the Flamer is more usable.

I can see this working well for the Scorch queen, hit her, turn and start hitting the adds, then hit her again, rinse repeat. You can do alot of damage on her and kill alot of adds at the same time.

Hey turtle. I believe your last build around boss battles, specifically the Gatling plasma was almost a year ago now. With the anti armor change this last year, would it be better to run Anti-Armor or bloodied when fighting bosses, specifically if I plan on speed running with VATS criticals.

just from my small testing at West Tek with Slow Burner Cremators.
Atleast here on PS5 Instigating isn't working on the Cremator & dmg while aiming only works if you keep Aiming ... tested Instigating against Bloodied & Bloodied always won (on 3 different Servers with various builds)
like i said that's atleast on PS5 (tested for around 1hr)
By basic math huge tank is higher dps. You get twice the ammo vs 50% reload penalty.
After any sample size in multiples of 9 over 18 the huge tank wins
36 shots = 1 huge tank reload
36 shots = 3 fast tank reloads
If standard tank reload x=1 then
Huge tank = 1.2 reload time for 36 shots
Fast tank = .7 x 3 = 2.1 reload time for 36 shots

Demolition Expert? yes (only for explotion/direct damage )
heavy gunners perk? also yes (increase both explotion/direct demage and DOT)
FYI before patched, a multi-barrel napalm (grenadier, demolition, 3 heavy gunners, 3 expert hg , 3 master hg) will kill any lesser mobs instantly like super mutant in eviction note without even the DOTS kicking in because the explotion damage with multi-barrel still 100% damage x 4.
now after patched explotion/direct impact damage from multi-barrel/napalm really low, so for multi-barrel better use slow-burning because its main purpose to hit many enemies as you can and let the DOT Kills them, more like fire and forget,
my cremator now multi-barrel slow-burn (before multi-barrel napalm), and i dropped demolition expert since it didnt decrease the DOT and only used as tagging weapon for events like radiation rumble/eviction etc.

I recommend stealth. For some reason im able to stay hidden when crouched, with sneak operative my heavy barrel cremator does 1,4k on head with impact only dot wasnt needed at all(with vampire mod, instigating/bloodied dmg would be higher) - not even specced as heavy gunner. Cruised through my daily ops this way
Does Taking One for the Team legendary perk max rank works with the DoT by applying the 40% more damage to aggro enemies when they attack you, if you're on a team OR the percent from the perk apply only for the direct damage of the Cremator? 40% more DoT damage would mean an astonishing damage boost...

Works for the whole DoT, but you get 0 bonus if the mob is at 99.99999999999999% health or less.
I was bummed to hear that AA was poor on cremators. I re rolled mine and got Instigating/Aiming Damage/V.A.T.S. crit charge. First try.

Running a B50c cremator with heavy/slow and seeing the biggest crits of my gametime to date: 3500 head crit on General Zeta. 3100 on dops boss. Without Strange in Numbers!!!
I'm sure it could be a little more with heavy/napalmer, but since bloodied affects the dot, it's nice to get that >4k/12 ticking on anything unfortunate enough to be close to my target.

How is your Cremator's DoT damage improved? At 6:00 you show your Instigating Cremator and its DoT damage is 3390. I have the same roll and mine is 3193.

BIG QUESTION: Demo Expert... I noticed that the DOT doesn't change on the weapon description with Demo Expert on or off. So, if using multi-shot for DOT damage, can I free up 5 slots in INT by removing Demo????? That would be HUGE!

Auto shotgun also has the aiming bug. Used a vampire auto shotgun on a new character for a bit it was fun.
The shooting twice by hitting aim works with the Grand Finale as well. Fun for shooting into the air from a distance at Fasnacht
So to shoot twice, you just aim but not use vats on an enemy. Is that right?

I use this for speed running the most sensational game for fast stamps. The overgrown and humans seem very weak to this and you can just shoot it and run past without looking back
I run bloodied unyielding melee and it still one hits everything in my path. Then I just chainsaw the Twin bosses when those parts come

Work on the charger you’re hearing at in fact works very well. The way my weapon is configured. It is because I can craft that and I just came back and it had really Santa so I put on it. 100% reduces the target hour by 50% and up the immediate fire damage of like well when I got adrenaline stacked up it’s well over 600 that damage all goes because I have stabilized which works with that weapon as well and run the weapon. I’m getting 75% reduction so the target die the targets around take that But that is going to do massive damage pass for even kill them before I can pick another target anytime but for certain whatever I should die what time adrenaline backed up I stood on the roof just a week ago at West Tech. I was was not there to check the damage, but I was checking band function, cause I keep hearing people say and armor doesn’t work they don’t say an arm doesn’t work with a dot. They hear people like you say and armor doesn’t work with the dot their ears just here and armor doesn’t work. It’s bad it’s not bad. You can’t kill all those superman with that they always not big enough. You can’t gather them together like you do in MMO by cutting them around you have more grouped up so you really can’t use that damage to kill large group except for goals. The only group you can do that with our goal because they will watch you cut them around and gather them and then drop a big data on them And jump on the roof and just wait for them all to drop if that’s your thing something else in the game does that well except maybe when they go in and when you do Earl, they’ll all like block on the people and you can drop a data on them and then move on if you want Who is the patient for that especially when they’re on you especially back when you were making this video and you couldn’t use armor because well you could, but had to sacrifice special wines and what says one skyline otherwise you touch yourself on fire and you would die. I haven’t used my cremator in the last few days Because that’s were off. There was no doubt going on at all not from anything not from that from all cocktail, not from the dot on any of the auto act or the auto act with that not from none of the do that arm bleed, not from bleed that from a chainsaw with a long bar, none of the dots were working they just came back on a few days ago And they’re working like a champ again, but I haven’t tried the cremator. I suspect I once again can’t use it in power armor because AOE will set you on fire and you will lose massive. Hell which is another reason why that weapon is in five a very special unique weapon unlike explosion which you can avoid with assassin you can’t avoid fire damage that way it doesn’t work at least it didn’t used to maybe that’s why I’m not taking fire damage now, but I kind of think it was because the dots were off. I’m gonna test it as soon as I can now that I’ve thought of it because I do use a cremator a lot back. It’s one of my primary weapon because it has its range weapon. You can shoot it at a decent bit away from you. It’s OK to use in advance And is chill or day-to-day running around killing kills and Ferrell is easy to come by like I said the converter as I’m moving that supply just keep taking ammo and feeding it in and taking out what you want. I have not manufactured ammo except for challengers that say you know crap 50 ammo or whatever that’s the only why I made it cheer Since we had that converter guy run around using that weapon a lot and it’s a very versatile weapon and I 100% would not recommend anything by an armor because your immediate goal is to kill your target whatever it is and if you’re shooting at a boss, you don’t care about the mob around the boss, but you do care about reducing the bosses fire resistanceas much as possible so you can do damage to the bosses out and that’s where the armor comes in the play

How do you get over 700 weapon damage on your cremator? I can’t get to even 300 weapon damage and I’m at 200 character level. How/what do you do to get it that high?

I made an vampires, multishot, just like he did and MY damage is only 53x4 & 1365/12s versus HIS 95x4 & 4179(!!!)/12s. What gives!?
That's with all 3 Heavy Gunner perks (+60٪) and level 3 Bloody Mess (+15%).
Tried adding level 5 Demolitions Expert and only gives 3 (x4) more damage with multi shot barrel.
What OTHER perks boost this weapon???
I'm confused. Just got the creator, don't have the mods yet. Rolled a bloodied and an anti armor. I'm a bloodied build, but I'm sure the anti armor does more damage than the bloodied one 😕 Testing it on super mutants at West Tek...
The cremator self damage dot can be canceled if you swap weapons. Also how are you not losing ap during vats on scorch beast queen. I know canned coffee restores ap over time are you spamming them?

so yesterday i rolled a cremator with Quad, 25% fire rate and breaks slower .
i normally run and explosive build and use a AA FLAMER as my boss killer but i was thinking of swapping out my nuka launcher for this
