So I have a Clek Liing and bought it partially because of the load leg. But we drive a van with stow-and-go seats. Can I actually not use the load leg?? And if not, which is the best way to install this seat?? Can I still use the base and rigid anchors? Thanks!
You will have to check your vehicle owner's manual, but typically you cannot use the load leg. You just install with either the rigid lower anchors or the seat belt. You can use the base, but store the load leg.
Thank you! I checked my vehicle's manual and there's no info about load legs at all. But looking elsewhere online, it looks like the stow-and-go seats don't allow for the use of the load leg. Unfortunate, but at least I can still use the rigid anchors. Thanks!
Thank you for the very thorough video! Gave me confidence in the installation on my seat. With baby due in 2 weeks you helped me cross off one of the many things to do.
The systems that Clek put into place for installing the base (and even the car seat without the base) makes it look so easy! Wish I saw this system when my kid was an infant.
You cannot remove the lower anchors on the Clek Liing. They are built into the base. I think you are thinking of the Liingo, which does not come with a base, and therefore has lower anchors attached to the infant seat portion.

Why no mention of having to remove the latch Bin with screw drivers? Is this an ad to make it look easy 😅
