If Halo 1 marines didn't stagger then the elites would have had no wins at all. Also they should have added a berserk mode for Marines like when they charge there damage increase while in that state but just thinking outside the box now
I find it a bit stupid how the elite shield takes less hits from a ballistic weapon then a marine with only armor and being hit by over a dozen plasma bolts. They still burn and and kill
@@aceclover758 You mean their energy shield or their armor ? Because it makes sense they rely more on their energy shield and the armor only support's it . But since it's a game they had to balance it out somehow , maybe the molding community could bring a more realistic balance

By their constitution alone elite should have more health than a marine and on top of that, shield. i find it more surpising that they doesnt stagger as much in subsequent games giving that they are basicly tanking plasma like nothing.

the halo 1 marines are extremely resistant, in the squad combat the elites simply did not have a chance, it is possible that the weapons are op, except for the Magnum
