Something that Trisha absolutely hit the nail on the head on was when she said so many men think rape is only rape if it’s violent and that’s not true. I got the impression that they seriously wanted to discuss a major issue that was widely supported and condoned for far too long. They kept the heat on the situation so that the public would understand, realize, and become aware of the severity of these situations and allegations. Because of that, a change and chain reaction has begun, people from all over are sharing their stories and are finally being given a voice. SA, r-word, and truly toxic environments are real issues that need to be discussed and brought attention to; for so long topics as such have been swept under the rug or suppressed leaving no room for the changes we desperately need in this world. I got the impression that they seriously wanted to discuss a major issue that was widely supported and condoned for far too long.
