It's so weird to watch this in hindsight. I feel like all this blew up because trisha felt ugly that day and had to do her own makeup. It sounds bizarre, but if you look back at this video and the two huge blow ups before this, trisha mentions repeatedly that she feels ugly and jealous that ethan out done her on the costume department lol

Trisha is having trouble getting pregnant and Ethan knows how much it pains both her and his brother in law...just like he knows how difficult that situation is from personal experience. So, given that they had already announced the pregnancy in a previous podcast, I guess she just expected him to have enough empathy to choose another title for the frenemies one. It's not the end of the world of course, but it takes little empathy to see where she's coming from

As many as 15% of all couples struggle with infertility, the deep sorrow that is carried around when you long for a baby in your belly and in your arms is far too heavy for fingertips to hold sometimes, believe me I do have empathy, I have felt that pain but it is no excuse to lash out at people you care about like she did.
They should talk about financials behind this scenes. Trisha bringing that stuff up on the podcast is really unprofessional and insulting to the employees. Not to mention uncomfortable to watch. Just discuss that stuff off camera and in private.

I have BPD and the fear that people around me have to walk on eggshells is so huge, becoming aware of when I was making people feel that way was such a big motivation to get the help I really needed
As someone who experienced abuse from someone with BPD and very much had to walk on eggshells, thank you for being self aware and working on yourself

@@dugget5492 I am from Canada. I don’t understand her version of triggers, but I do have some myself. Basically, triggers are things that can cause you to have a specific intense emotion (usually related to mental health). It has since lost the severity in its meaning though because of people like this that misuse/ overuse it. For example, I was severely abused as a kid and have PTSD. If I hear someone say that person’s name I can go into a full on panic attack and cannot function adequately. People now tend to use it to say “I immediately feel…. when I experience…”.

Having Trisha as more than a Co-Host would not be possible. Yes H3 have their own crew not only because it’s their show but because they’re CONSISTENT. Trisha has already walked out of the show 3 times. It would not be fair to hire hard working people and have their livelihoods at risk for how she feels on a given day. That’s not how you handle a business.

Trisha goes to therapy, learns psychology terms like “gaslighting, abuse, delusions, psychotic, etc.”. and then uses those terms to justify her nasty behavior and make her vapid arguments appear less hateful and more credible. Gabbie does the exact same thing, and that’s why the two of them get so triggered by each other; because they remind each other of themselves. It’s baffling how little self awareness they both have.

Also seems to be that these apparent "therapists" must be advising them both to stay away from the very people they are - I bet Trisha is told how triggering people like Gabbie are and to avoid them, and Gabbie is told how triggering people like Trisha are and to avoid them, when the actual reality is, they're both toxic af and need to take responsibility for their own issues instead of projecting all the time. It's very reasonable for her to feel what she is feeling, but the insults, and gaslighting needs to be worked on. She goes to therapy 4 times a week and still cannot take accountability for her heightened emotions and know when to step away. It's very frustrating to watch.

YES. As someone who used to do this myself because of MY mental illnesses, watching it happen from the outside looking in is so heartbreaking. You’re gonna have bad days and people are gonna trigger you. No one else is responsible for your triggers except yourself. She gets defensive and starts going off and she doesn’t know how to stop which is exactly what I used to do. I hope that when she’s in a better mental state that she can talk to Ethan calmly and clear headed to work it out and acknowledge that she was in the wrong here.

As someone who’s been through emotional manipulation for almost my entire life, Trisha using the term “gaslighting” so ignorantly and incorrectly makes me really uncomfortable. She accuses everyone of “gaslighting” her when she’s called out for her immature behavior..
True, but, and I know this doesn't make it better, Trisha is far from the only person to do this. Personally, idk what gaslighting is because it's such an overused term! A lot of the time, I feel like people will use this term synonymously with "lying" because it sounds more powerful.
I don't use that word because I know it's both overused and misused, but people who do may just be ... ignorant.

@Mari I’ve been in that situation many times as well and if you look through my replies to other comments you’ll see me defending Trisha on this point saying that I genuinely believe they weren’t upset until he kept picking at this issue that they were angry when they explained they weren’t several times. It is, however, not gaslighting as it doesn’t make someone question their sanity it just works to upset and frustrate you. Gaslighting is a much more serious form of manipulation than trying to invalidate someone’s feelings or telling them how they are feeling. So initially just throwing around the term gaslighting is watering down the true meaning of the word. Now when Ethan says they’re upset when they aren’t and then pushes them to the point where they become upset and were to say “see I told you you were mad from the beginning” then that moves towards gaslighting but it is still a little gray.
@Mari I didn’t say it was an abusive situation but that it was a more complex form of manipulation than just saying “You’re mad” “I’m not mad” “Well you’re angry or upset it’s ok to admit that” If that was the case everything would be gaslighting. In the end someone telling you you’re angry and you know you aren’t isn’t going to make you question your sanity or at least it shouldn’t. Again (I know you aren’t and I don’t expect you to because it’s a lot of random comments to look through) if you read my other replies you’ll see that regardless of the argument my stance is just on the term gaslighting. Just found Ethan recently. Mental health is extremely serious and it should be taken SERIOUS. Having said that, you don’t get to use it every time you’re in a bad/adverse situation. That’s why some people don’t take mental health seriously. Trisha is a prime example of what NOT to be if you deal with depression/stress/anxiety. It’s not meant to be a defense mechanism. Ethan handled this extremely well and I applaud him. As for Trisha, find a new therapist ASAP. You need someone who will be honest with you instead of telling you you’re right and entitled. 👍🏽
