Very proud of you boys, sticking up all the people that have knocked you all year including some people that call themselves North people. Now that the young guys are starting to get a few games under their belt and starting to believe in one another the rewards will come, would love to have 2 wins from the last 2 games but the reward is still there for the supporters seeing a team that is continuing to grow and play for the team not as individuals. Walk tall boys the next win is not far away. GO ROO BOYS
Whilst we didn’t adapt in the first three terms on how the Demons play and continuously only going down the line, we definitely showed heart and spirit. We previously would have just crumbled and the margin would have blown out. A complete opposite to last week. Both vital lessons for our young team. A few early misses that cost us. Overall extremely promising.
Played another great game on Oliver tonight - hopefully he keeps this continuity up, if he can keep playing a role like this he will find himself playing in the 1s pretty regularly - it's a nice mix of having 2 players like Will and L. Shiels who give us some real options to locking down the oppositions best. It's no surprise I reckon that since the WCE game and having a full game tag on Yeo, then Diacos and now Oliver tonight that we have been playing the improved footy we have seen the past few weeks.
Did you notice a passage in the 3rd when he was so heavily focused on Oliver, that he basically ran passed the ball in the forward pocket? It was rather strange.
Translation….. keep playing me as tagger & im out. Did anyone else notice how he was so focused on Oliver that he could have intercepted the ball in our forward pocket? It was very strange
This lad is made of the right stuff. Roo coaches... don't let another top draft talent walk (aka JHTanker), when there are many in the stable bound for the glue factory.
Third quarter needs to be reviewed. Every free Melbourne player against the North Melbourne numbered jumper directly responsible for them. That lazy man zone, and over kicking back and sideways in dangerous areas has to stop. As does highball kicking to packs you have no numerical or height advantage in.
@@troyrono9957seriously I don’t think the umpires knew that holding the ball meant either. WOW the sling is back as the umpires doze off! To me the holding the ball rule was to speed up play. Either dispose of the ball by hand or foot, that’s it before you get tackled!
Good stuff Will, hope you stay a Shinboner for years to come!
We are getting better each game keep it up💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍🤍🤍💙
Philips again did a sensational job. Same with Archer. Our young crops slowly coming together. We matched it with two of the better teams.
🙄 *severely undermanned teams.
Your a ⭐️ Will. Spoke with pride. Pleasure to watch you play.
This guy needs a run in the 1s for the rest of the season to show if he has something.
Probs shouldn’t have used a top 3 pick on him tbh. Who tf made that call? Surely they have been sacked 😂
He's found his role in the team as a tagger. Happy for him that he is now likely to be playing regular footy.

Salty the umpires where a disaster tonight😮
Yeh I'm not sure what is holding the ball and what isn't anymore

Wasn’t this bloke a top 3 pick?
North supporters glazing another loss
He did not sound genuine. Think he’s on the way out
They're talented, they've been working hard, & they've got the best coach. The good results were going to come. GO SHINBONERS 💙🤍💙🤍
REINVENT. HIS GAME , and has now found a role only 1 or 2 others on our list can play
