Just a heads up, as far as i know, you have to be careful about touching the ceramic igniter with your fingers. Grease from the hands can cause the igniter to fail prematurely. It is similar to the way that you sould handle high power halogen lamps. Oil from the fingers = bad!
Nice video! Next time soak the window with degeaser and cover up with plastic film wrap. It soaks the gunk loose after 30 mins you should be able to wash it all off 😊
I use Jiff Ovnsrens to clean my fireplace glass, spray it on and it works immidently and one wipe and its clean! Or atleast clean of sot, i might need to clean it with a wet cloth to get it perfect. Works very very well! If you have Jiff cleaning products in Denmark, im in Norway. 🙂
I hope the new igniter lasts as long as the original. I was thinking wire wool or used brillo pads to clean the crud off the window, but im sure you tryed that millions of years ago lol.

Hi, nice video To clean the glass I use a spray, 10 seconds and after a sweep with a paper towel and it is clean. My igniter looks lore like a diesel engine pre-heater.

I would love to have a stove like that for backup/auxiliary heat but finding someone to run the stove pipes is the challenge (and insurance).
Ehm - I'll tell you the Apple way: "You are doing it completely wrong!" - the glass cleaning job that is - I think you are not using enough water on your paper. What never fails for me is; Get some paper towels from the kitchen, get them wet, really wet so the dust will stick to them as you dip them in ash, get a good amount of ash with you, now smear/wipe the glass (be careful of running black water!!) - repeat over a small area and you will see that the water and ash dissolves ANY residue on the glass. Throw away current paper towel and repeat the process until you can see clean glass all over. Get a fresh towel, this time with water only, no ash - wipe glass clean, repeat until satisfied. Ignite oven/stove - enjoy flames through spanking clean glass 🙂
Eh.. Portugals temperature is dropping now to the mid-low 20's. Still nice comparatively speaking. 😅 I'm gonna be freezing like hell when I visit home in Denmark for Christmas..🥶

I do believe some of my wood has been too wet, and then it gets dirty :-/

Hi. You can clean the windows by using dry steelwool in a fine grade , (0000).
You wont damage the glass, its cheap and it will last a lifetime !

No I have not,,, You can configura stuff using the app,, air pallet feet and so on,, so it can vary a lot.

Anyone know where to buy a cheap gear-motor for the internal auger? The replacement motor from Aduro is 115 euro! Please let me know…
I am sure that Aduro does not make them them self,,, I would take out the motor and look for model numbers,, and start googling.

Bought an igniter on the internet for about 15 pounds, aduro is a rip off when it comes to spare parts
