@@TwiggsT4 i've ended up not routing mine and making some new wholes in the surround and using the screws and caps that come with the unit.. I thought routing will let water in the countertop no matter how much sillicone I'll put around it.
Hey I just wondered if you knew the depth of the cooler side with the electric ignition? Unfortunately I have the piezo version which is too deep to fit above my fridge
Hey Kyle, I’ve just gone out and had a look, and the electronic ignition it level with the gas pipe, I then have large plastic spade connectors which sits 25mm lower than the gas pipe. If you don’t use the spade connectors and use solder instead then it won’t interfere with your fridge unit. Hope this helps 👍
Hi there , i am making a wooden gabinete for the Smev 9722 and was planing to have a fridge underneath the cooker. Do you think the heat may compromise de good function of the fridge? Thanks
Yeah it should be fine as long as there’s room for air circulation behind the fridge. I have some pics from the instruction manual, add me on Instagram and I’ll send you the pics.
Thank you, I can’t see it being a problem, the fixing screws may poke out the underneath tho, can’t remember the length of the screws that came with the sink/hob

Julie Bushrod I got my instructions with the sink/cooker unit from the supplier. I have seen templates for these on eBay. If your sink/cooker didn’t come with one you’re more than welcome to have my instruction manual

great vid, my i've got 12 mm ply as my worktop, do you think this would be ok? would mean having 3mm of ply left in the routed area's.

The weight is distributed mainly around the edge on the rubber strip

why are you teaching people the wrong regulations. A permanent gas stove in a camper van, must have a rigid connection / copper, not a flexi hose.
