I can't wait to see this beautiful boat run. Nice work again mate.
Thanks Peter, neither can I 😎 I still need to buy a good pair of lipo's. I'm thinking either CNHL or SMC. After all, this boat needs to set new personal speed records ✌️
@@CozyRC I'm thinking this will go like a rocket. Your skills are amazing.
@@petergoodwin2465 I do my best!
Great job on the build videos
Looking forward to getting the plans 👍
Thanks Brenton ✌️ I will send the drawing today.
Looking so neat and strong.
You probably need some lifting strakes on the v bottom to break the suction to the water.
Man all that work in the bottom might have been better after the glass went on.
Save double work.
One things for sure a bit of extra work don’t scare you.
Thanks James! I have been thinking about adding strakes on this hull. It will be quite heavy, so you got a good point there. I will first try without; they can be added lateron. Regarding the hull sanding, I want a good base for the glass. If I roll on 1 layer of glass, I hope the bottom will still be straight. But yes, it does need some sanding again.. 😅
Looking forward to hearing those motors scream!
Thanks, and so do I 💪. I love the sound of a high rpm setup and the twin drive hopefully adds to the experience!
Fantastic job Jan👍👍! All those inner parts are so nicely glued together that make the hull even stronger. I really like the angled strakes. I think they will work nicely... Have you made the twin stringer? Oh and the thumbnail picture is so catchy 😉!!
Thanks Dim! The hull feels very strong indeed 💪I have not made the second stinger yet.. Just the carbon tube with the bushings. And thanks about the thumbnail; I switched to Canva for making them 😎
would u need a rudder? i mean i have seen people use radio custom mix to turn the boat left or right .. differential trust using the two motors
Hi Deepu, that's a good question! I think it works well for slow boats, but I'm not so sure for speedboats? It might work! But I go for the proven option: a rudder 😀. Thanks for the idea though! ✌️ DJ
Hi Sir just to seek your advise, i have a twin motor DIY rc Boat..it is a 1.2meter mono hull..but its keep on popoising in a medium to full speed...hoping for your advise on what to do..thanks...
Hi, it could have many reasons, but most likely it's either one of those 2, or both: 1. The drives are set too positive / with up angle. They push the bow out of the water too much. 2. The centre of gravity is too far back. Try to shift the lipos forward. Good luck 👍
@CozyRC thanks Sir..
Clouser and clouser🙂
Yes, hopefully the maiden before Christmas 😎👍
@@CozyRC I have a feeling that the boat it's already done🤫
@@daiciuapostol79 Nope, what you see in this video is exactly the current build status. Maybe tomorrow I laminate the lipo tray.
The weekend of the maiden run, I will post the video. Almost live 😎✌️
