    I really enjoy your videos. Do think a 125 amp flux core welder could do this job?

      Hi Ryan. Thanks for checking out the video and I’m glad you liked the info. Yeah man, that would be fine. Don’t rush through the line when you’re welding 3/16. Crank the amps up to as high as you can get them, pause a bit at the start of the weld to heat things up, then keep that puddle going as you weld along the line to get that steel burned in nicely. Flux core is a bit messier but nothing that a sander can’t clear up. Actually flux core often puts a better melt in there than MIG. You got this Mr.

      Man I am so glad you said that. Do you think I should use .030 or .035 flux core wire?@@OffroadGrind

      @@ryanhensley1460.030 would be fine. Just go slower if welding anything over 1/8” thick to make sure the weld is getting into the steel (getting good penetration).
