I guess the reason why Mario was already in space was because at the beginning of the video that's where he was the whole time when he disappeared and randomly showed up behind Meggy because of how fast he was going, there was seemingly two of them. As well mentioned parallel universes because like Speedrun Mario (Also nice reference) he can travel through time and space using BLJs. Loved the video btw, it was a joy to watch.
