I really like the soft male vocal in the bg as opposed to in the studio version. I love these acoustic covers because I feel like they really showcase Dodie’s voice and also the instrumentals are always so amazing, I’d love if Dodie made a full album of acoustic in her bedroom versions of songs!

i don't know if you will going to ever read this Dodie, but this song, well. it makes me cry every time i ear it, and it's not a bad thing really. It just remembers me that after all things are said and done, we still are simply humans trying to do our best to have the life we want and failing consistently, but i don't know why i always have a this feeling that this song its like a prelude of what is coming next, when we figure out our condition and that we start our search for true love, and not the idea we have in mind. And blows my mind is that you can make me fell all of this in just one song, so for that. I thank you!!!

I had a dream we met. I was supporting my friend whilst he was performing and at this concert. there was a room for one more performer and all of a sudden I got a notification on my phone from twitter from you that you were doing a surprise show in my not well known country and I was already there. And you sang so beautifully I cried in my dream and I got to met you. And I was wearing dirty Pajamas and my hair was oily yet you were so nice and I asked my brother to take a picture of us. The pictures turned out badly but you were busy meeting other people so I didn’t want to bother you. Then I woke up. Quite sad actually. Because I still had tears in my eyes from crying in my sleep and I started crying more, because I don’t know if I’ll ever get to thank you in person.
