What’s the tune that starts at 3:20? Wondering if I could buy it on iTunes or something
Medvedev's serve is pure chaos and hardly talked about so kudos for including him.
I also feel that his serving action is really secure one. He hardly double faults.
How to serve: be tall
How not to serve: ask zverev when he's about to second serve
Agreed. Funny comment, yet cruel reality xd
honestly this year (apart from his wimby loss this year that was fucking horrendous lol) his second serve has been improving a lot
Zverev is 6'6
They should have analyzed Zverev’s second serve
🤣🤣
Maybe he would realise what was going wrong
He doesn’t have one.
Can't buy a second serve 😂
👏🏾🤣
lmaooo they really analyzed krygios' underarm serve
And rightfully so. The underarm serve, if performed well, is in my opinion the most revolutionized shot of the last decade. It creates a big adventage for the players with big serves, especially now that guys are returning 5 meters behind the baseline. If the opponent takes that returning position and you would be able to just play so that the second bounce is before the service line, it's a great serve.
I don't think Kyrgios is using it as a weapon though, he does it for entertainment.
@@jobvaneijk7776 Yeah and it’s amazing entertainment. He just did one in his match against Anderson where he served through his legs.
@@houseofleaves126 well he did A LOT of tricks in the match against Anderson hahahha
It’s a lot harder than it looks, just ask bublik
They should have analyzed the better one - Bublik
i find nadal's serve really interesting especially the 2nd serve. his serve is certainly not the best on tour and is one of his weakness but yet he finds ways to get through his serving games with his slider 2nd serve which kicks off the surface quite unusually.
The way Roger stares at his spot, even until the point he tosses the ball, is just nuts. Easily top 5 serve and top 1 ball toss in the history of the game.
Easily and I think his serve is the best ever because his baseline game didn't have to suffer for it, unlike you get with tall guys etc. He's holding the second spot with the number of aces too.
Doesn't he look at the opponent to see what he will do?
I don't think he looks where he will hit the ball.
Finally the video I have been waiting for!!!! Great analysis!
Re Medvedev. When I was growing up, serving from the corner rather than the middle was far more common than it seems to be today. I suspect today's players depend more on pace and lower travel distance compared to that era, which depended more on angle. (All relatively, of course.)
i love this series so much. please keep this going!
Superb insight and analysis of some of the best servers on tour. Masterful content
It's always fun when Layani says: "Game ... Federer!" :)
Love these analysis videos! Super interesting and useful
Pete Sampras chilling in his pool be like: That's cute.Haha noobs.😂😂
Sampras being like: hold my second serve
Well in my opinion Raonic and Isner have the best serves, whereas Federer has the most elegant one.
Federer's serve is hard to read, Federer did 4 aces in a row against the best returner djokovic
@@felixy23 federer's serve is almost impossible to read.
Sampras is better, isners serves are just good because he’s tall
@@tnuyx9405 nah man, his technique is top class, it's not just about his height.
@@josefmalina3273 Sampras has better technique. Isner does have good technique but his height makes it seem better than it is
Something I've always wondered is why you have the same 45 degree stance on deuce side as ad side. Ad side makes sense as it has you facing your target, but the deuce position just seems akward.
Matteo Berrettini: am i a joke to you?
I heard Kyrgios went for an underhand serve on a sunday night
Zverev’s second serve is a killer 🥶😆
STOPPP😭
But like actually-
Too stronggg!
Great analysis !!!
Wow no world number one Djokovic?
Djokovic’s serve isn’t really as interesting as the others
@@jbeksubk8350 it is, obviously not his biggest weapon but highly underrated, the evolution of his serve throughout his carreer is quite interesting
@@jbeksubk8350 neither is Nadals.
It's so much kick Domi produces in a serve that his fate have kicked him out from his sport 😁
i "mix up" my serve but its inconsistency isn't by my choice lol
They make it seem like doing your second serve at full pace like Daniil Medvedev is easy.
3:32 3:49 Raonic serve 4:20 Fed serve
If only I could serve like these pros.
Yea they did forget to include Sampras & Roddick, but the video probably analyzes the current tour. Imo, Federer’s disguise on the serve & the surprising fact that I didn’t know, where he keeps his eye on the opponent from the beginning without even looking at his toss & keeps his eye on the opponent until the last second & still hit one of the most accurate serves on tour is amazing. In terms of technique & power Sampras would have him beat, but the fact that Fed has disguise & watches the opponent, it results in more points being won on his serve. Incredible.
Federer's serve is in my opinion the most beautiful shot in tennis.
Ok, that Federer serve is just astonishing!
Berrettini next
Novaks Serve is now a important thing in his game he wins alot pionts whit his Serve he is of course not a top 3 server on the tour but a good server
I am not a djokovic fan in the slightest. I actually hate the guy. But his serve I think is the finishing touch on his game that has improved amazingly over the years. The disguise and accuracy have increased so much, it's pretty impressive considering how he used to serve
@@gpet-dr2bs stopped reading on “I actually hate the guy”. You are pathetic
@@gpet-dr2bs cry more
It's The djokovic fan's who are pathetic here. If anyone dislikes or has a an OPINION like a fuckin human being they hate you for it. They just can't except that djokovic with never earn the "respect"😂😂😂😂😂
@@gpet-dr2bs no its okay i mean the people respect Novak a lot in England in France in Australia but he is not a bigger star then Roger or Rafa but thats not so important because all 3 are unreal players and great guys
Fantastic analysis
These are class!
This is the third time Medvedev has been featured in "Analyzing..." videos by TennisTV--forehand shots, doublehanded backhand shots, and now serves. Just saying ☺️
He is one of the most unorthodox players on tour. None of his shots are textbook ones and that's why he features quite deservedly in every analysis.
Analyze the returns of the players please
They added the "Getting a Forehand" graphic early for Isner
Where is Djokovic?
In the cold tub
His serve isn’t that good
His serve's great, just not very unique
His serves are becoming great as of late but there is no big technical anomaly that they could have mentioned in this video.
@@initialize21 lmao his serve is 10 times better than Nadal's
Love this vid!
Thiem Will Be back With Bang remember My Word👌💙🖤...
What about Andy Roddick ? he is without a doubt the best server in tennis history
This better have a second part because this feels incomplete
Tall guys can get a massive kicking bounce off of a FLAT serve (doesn't even have to be a kick serve). Think about it; if you're like 10,000ft tall, you can simply lean over the net from the baseline and spike the ball vertically downwards and bounce it out of the stadium. The taller you are, the closer you are to being able to do this.
Yeah, at 6'10 basically you don't need to have great techniques to execute serve,
To me only Sampras and Federer who're the best serves and the most efficient
These are the videos we need
Wow there was no mention of serena Williams and her ace game is out the park
Helpful video
good video!
I think shapo has one of the best serves in the game right now relative to his height
Once u are 180cm or more it doesnt matter,Ruud serves well too,Shapovalov has great 1st serve really powerful and precise but he hits big amount of double faults
Unbelievable that they did not put Djokovic's serve.
What are the names of the background beats used in these videos?
6:48 Lol, maybe you shouldn't pick an example where Nadal has dealt with Karlovic serve quite well, being 5-0 up which means two breaks of serve and having a set point on top of that.
they're analyzing the point not the match tho
So we just not going to talk about Roddick's serve 🤔
Screech second serve?
Zverev
djokovic's serve these days is miles better than rafa's or thiem's
No Djokovic? He´s one of the best servers in today´s tennis.
His serve has gone better in previous 6-7 months otherwise his serve was not that threatning.
@@nishagovil9207 His serve has been a threat for opponents for the last decade. Watch again his matches.
@@miguelbarahona6636 that looooooong preparation, most of the times opponent dies of boredom, it's really a threat for the others
@@trulaila8560 Nadal started that trend. Djokovic only followed.
Berrettini????
What about Djokovic and Zverev?
No Sampras or Roddick?!
why no roddick?
Djokovic is an underrated server! Do you agree?
A must watch for zverev😁
For some irony - Pete's 2nd serve was better than the first serve of everyone listed here except Isner and Roger. I'm not going to include Kyrgios because Kyrgios has never won anything important. Isner's career serve stats speaks for themselves. And Roger's first serve won him 20 Grand Slams...so...duh...
Even TennisTv Can't analyse Nole's serve. 😂 #GOAT
Tf? Go somewhere else then
No sascha?
Rodrick
Where are Stef's and Novak's serves???
not anything special in thier serves
@@aarinhegde6083 lmao djokovic's serve is miles better than rafa or thiem
@@aarinhegde6083 But Novak Djokovic is best..
@@rishitdasgupta2433 i never said his serve sucks . i said his serve doesnt have anything special . this video includes thiems second kick serve which is very tough to return .its funny that how djokovic fans want thier idol in every video
@@ronaldosukunanadaldicaprio6984 we are not talking about that kiddo
Where’s Roddick?
I feel like big servers like Isner and Raonic can only get so far. They rely way to much on their serve and put almost zero in to their return game. Super boring to watch as well. Raonics match against Nakashima yesterday was a perfect example. Was winning the match but as soon as his serve faultered, he folded
I think there is a logical reason that why these big servers struggle. Essentially their strength becomes their weaknesses in other parts of game. They are tall, strong and heavy which allows them to serve well but it also takes away your speed.
Nadal? Come on, where is Berrettini’s? Shapovalov? 🤦🏻♂️
funny when we do not know about tennis we say something..if we compare these tennismen with sophisticated rackets tennis with bjorn borg era ..even with better tennis rackets... nadal''djokovic and much more did not have the powerful service and technique compare to yannick noah, victor pecci.mac enroe..roscoe tanner...sharapova...and others have the same service..believe me
Where's Zverev ?
Medvedev | Daniel 😏
They put Nadal amongst those great servers this is embarassing, they could easily ad even Andy Murray or Djokovic this way
the thing is, he has one of the best ever percentage of service games won. Serve in a vacuum is below average. but his serve with his game style is insane. They also added kyrgios underarm serve, so they probs were just looking for time to fill lol
@@jamesyelton11 Stupid anaylise for me I don't know
Nadal's serve is not the best but it is a bit different than usual serves. The way his serves kick off the surface are unique.
No Delbonis service no like
えぐい

Federer fucked up too many times when serving for a set/match/championship
yes when it mattered the most ....but still the most clsasiest elegant tennis player of all time
Still, djokovic beat nadal easily on hard court
@@PeaSoup145 fact, now its either roger or federer but definitely in the end djokovic because if djokovic keeps playing like this until 39 like roger he will get many new achievement that even roger can't do it, what about you

Disgrace that Tennis Tv puts underarm serves in their content.
great insight and analysis HOWEVER , having worked with some of the finest players in the world I can offer you some additional tips that will blow your opponents off the court. I have been tied to a NDA with my co-founder tennisannus but that is due to come to an end very soon and I can finely help anyone that needs assistance with their game , TP OUT !
Good video, you should do one for the backhand slice as well
The slice is just a pusher shot.
@@sevaraalimova4706 A good slice isn't, and many players will have a lot of trouble if you can consistently hit a good slice backhand so it is worth analyzing.
Zverev : I'll put myself in there
Where’s Shapo
that's what i was gonna say. his serve is super interesting as well
Ball toss is problematic.
He serves like McEnroe. His stance parallel to baseline may cause problems in his back in future. McEnroe also had back problems which took juice from his serves. Being a serve volley player it was very difficult to maintain his level of play without perfect first serve.
Shapo has one mean looking lefty slider, definitely worth a mention
Except it doesnt exist on big points against top players
And one mean looking 2nd serve. 2nd serve for shapovalov on breakpoint is deadly, for him
toss is too erratic
Roddick for me is one of the greatest servers
Definitely. Guy served like an absolute robot, v reliable
Beautifully produced and presented. Thanks so much for posting.
Now that's worth watching. Not the usual drivel about what players' fancies and favourites are.
I'm surprised Zverev didn't put his serve in there.

This is discussing, not analyzing
Should analyze Andy Roddick's serves.
One of the things that makes federer serve effective is that is doing a continuous and circular racket movement as soon as he armed it.
This allows him to keep the momentum allowing great precision
Putting nick Kyrgios's underarm serve and not his normal serve is very disappointing.
Thiem😳
Federer's serve is my favourite❤️
Poor Djokovich, not getting analys
Poor? Some people (and maybe some professional tennis players) keep thinking that Nole has an average serve and an average forehand. They are fooled!. Maybe that´s the reason Nole is so successful.
Beautifully explained!
