Transfer Pokémon from Bank to Home: • How to Transfer Pokemo...
Now imagine using a pro save with this feature.
Great video.
I’ve been using a method like this on Nintendo DS with an M3DS Real card to trade Pokémon from an emulated save over to a retail cartridge to get them in to the main games so I can keep them on my journey.
Problem is, it only works with generations 3 and 4, I can’t get it to work with generation 5 and I think it’s because of the firmware which is unfortunate.
Really cool to see someone trading across from GBC to 3DS.
NDS Adaptor Plus works with Gen 5. That needs Windows XP to run properly, but I just installed Windows XP with SATA drivers onto an extra hard drive and swap it into my laptop as needed.
Gen 5 is working with pokemon transfer
Man I was hoping to find something like this, other tutorials was requiring cartridge flasher and windows 7 now I need to find an everdrive for an affordable price
The cheapest GB flash cart is the EZ flash Jr. If you want everdrive brand, (which I recommend) your best bet for a cheaper price is the Black Friday sale where they are 20% off
@@yoshipilot I will probably only use it this one time so maybe i can try to sell it after or find someone who has one too. Thanks!
@@caseyclayton7793 well if you’re only going to use the everdrive to transfer Pokémon, you’re better off getting a save dumper because then you don’t have to trade all the Pokémon. This tutorial is more for people who already have an everdrive but not a save dumper
@@yoshipilot oh cool, you don’t have a tutorial on that do you? I can do that with having a mac?
@@caseyclayton7793 The GB Operator and GB01 are the best save dumpers, and I think they work with Mac. You should just be able to plug it in, extract the .sav file, and then it is the same as this tutorial
0:14 Mhmm I love that radio song
0:52 Ah ok. 3DS n Switch. gotcha
Really the easiest way to do this is to use a GB to USB circuit adapter and rip the save from the GBC cart directly to PC, then open PKHeX and drag the PK1, PK2 etc pokemon direct to USUM or OMAS as a PK7 then straight to Bank/Home. I've done all ways of transferring and direct from PKHeX is immeasurably faster and the most efficient way.
That is a faster way but this video is for if you do not have a save dumper but you do have a flash cart
@@yoshipilot I understand yes and it is a great tutorial, thank you for making it. Before I learned how to do it I needed videos like this and we are grateful for people posting them thanks :).
Hey Justin! Do you happen to have a tutorial on how to do that? I am getting all my childhood stuff mailed to me soon and I wanna transfer all my previous pokemon to my pokemon home
@@evilsamer Yes I will type it up tonight and post it here with both ways to do it, Gen to Gen the way nintendo intended and also the GBA to USB (and GB and GBC for gens 1 and 2) dump device and all those details. Will post later tonight.
@@evilsamer Tried replying and it deletes my message. Are you able to get a GBx Cart dumper? Can't post l1nk as they delete it.
Wow, this is quite interesting!
“Now click the save file, delete the core memory, hack the terabyte mainframe, upload the system coding, do the Hokey Pokey and boom you now you’ve transferred all your ultra balls into Pokémon sun and moon”
Me: 😐 I do the what first?
Problem is it’s too easy to get all the legendaries & starters in grand underground
Everdrive and pokemon coloseum
What cable did you use? I cant trade from rom-silver to legit-gold using the GBA or GBC-linkcable.
(Using an everdrive gba)
Just a GBC link cable, it fits in a gba
Amazing 🙌🏽🔥
Couldn’t you technically restore that old save file and just keep putting the into your Pokémon bank over and over
Technically you could. However you probably don’t want to do this because Nintendo might notice you transferring duplicates of the same Pokémon and ban you.
@@yoshipilot 3DS bans have been over for years and pokemon has little care about legality (many mons will transfer up even if obviously hacked) they only transfer block very hacked mons like illegal abilities and moves. also in gen 1-2 pids dont exist so transfering gen 1 to 7 they gain pids and new stats which dont make them clones anymore They also transfer lock Origin magerna and shiny origin magerna but things like shiny hoopa can be transfered
@@yoshipilothow do I get a rom from my phone to an ez cart I have shineys on the file I don't want to loose
Do I run risks such as bans if I switch saves from cartridges or virtua boy on 3ds and take pokemon? Logically both Pokemon and ROMs are legit
@@uniposca6666 Getting banned for that is very unlikely
@@yoshipilot Ok, thanks so much 🫶
does this work for gen 3 games too? I'd much rather do this process with shinies in Emerald and skip over the expensive and annoying process of transferring them legit. Besides, I'd have to homebrew to download the pokemon bank/transfer tool anyways; this looks much easier and faster.
@@muscleman125 Gen 3 games just get transferred normally. You need a Gen 4 and a Gen 5 game though. There are many UA-cam videos about it
hi, what's the name of the cable to connect two different generation consoles, which do you use?
It’s simply a game boy color link cable, it fits into a GBA. However you can only use it to trade between game boy color games.
So what now? What if you didn't have pokemon bank before the eshop closed?
You can try installing the Pokémon bank and poke Transporter .cia files with home brew (or from hshop), but there is a possibility that Nintendo could stop you because it is pirated, so do it at your own risk.
Solid 🤙
Can you uninstall checkpoint after transferring to avoid bricking your system?
I guess you can, but I don’t think checkpoint will brick your system
Your more likely to drop your 3ds into a bathtub than brickin it with checkpoint
At least if you drop your 3ds in a bathtub with checkpoint you still have all your saves backed up
Can I use this method to transfer pokemon from everdrive gba mini (3rd generation "emerald") to nintendo 3DS (4th generation) without real GBA cartridge? Thanks :)
No, reproductions or rom hack versions cannot have their Pokémon transferred through Home without some sort of error occurring, as Nintendo has placed some safeguards against it.
Fake Gen 3 can trade with real Gen 3
Fake Gen 3 CANNOT trade with GameCube games
Fake gen 3 CANNOT transfer to Gen 4 (fake or real)
Fake Gen 4 games can trade with real Gen 4 games
Fake Gen 4 games can transfer with real Gen 3
Fake Gen 4 games can transfer with Gen 5
Im curious is any way to transfer Pokemon for one cartige to another if you use emulator's ?
Why did you have to trade gameboy to gameboy at the beginning?
Basically to get the Pokémon onto a save file that I can copy to my computer using the SD card
BGM... RIP game corner.
This is a lot of work I'd just go to the eshop b4 it ends
Where can we get this drive card from ?
krikzz.com
Does this still work after the 3ds shop was closed
As long as you have Pokémon bank and poke transporter downloaded
But how do i get a Homebrew 3ds?
3Ds.Hacks.guide
@yoshipilot do you also know how i can stream 3ds games and use E Shop after they shut down?
@@samuraiblack3496 you don’t access the eshop, you install cia files of the game roms.
@@yoshipilot would those files include Pokemon Home, Pokemon transporter, and Pokemon Crystal?
@@samuraiblack3496 For Pokémon Crystal, you can load that from the file just fine. For Pokémon Home and Poke transporter, I highly recommend you get those from the eshop before it closes. I am not sure if a side loaded version will connect to Nintendo’s servers.
Or use like cheat generator or have legit shiny Pokémon and just keep on transferring them and restoring the old save file
