Nice : )
Amazing guitar player !!!!!!! Amazing too in 2021 !!!
Their album was actually really good. I still listen to it periodically to this day.
Always loved his voice. These guys shoulda been huge.
They were SO amazing live. Criminally underrated band that deserved so much more attention and praise.
Thomas McRocklin was on my channel today talking guitars and gear and we had a great time!
I totally loved Bad 4 Good, they were so freaking talented and sadly so underrated. I had a lil crush on Thomas, Brooks, Danny and Zack. 💕
I used to jam to that tape every day afer school in 10th grade, before my band would get to my house for band practice. I used to nail every paet Brooks played. Drove me nuts that he was a year younger than me too! Great times. Thank you for posting.
danlc95 i felt the same he was younger and better than me !!!!
@@ALBundy73 - Right??
My drum bro always said that I smoked him, but I knew that was a bunch of bs!
Ahhh dudsters! I too was the same, only I didn't hear this album until '95 and I was 14. Was fucking jealous of that guy too. I could play just about everything he did, feel for feel except for this one little tricky double bass drum feel he did towards the end of the song, "Nineteen" if you know what I'm talking about? And another tricky little double bass part before the solo in the song, "Curious Intentions". I figured 'em out later on but at the time I hated that dude for it. Tried to convince myself I was better, but I also thought I was better than everyone back then. Wiser days have come...lol.
I've been looking for live footage of this band forever. Thanks!!!
Love these boys!!! They all still work in the music/film world....
Thanks for the footage mate, I love this guys, shame that they didn’t make more music, they were awesome
Great times, wish we could go back.
Brooks Wackerman is the new drummer for avenged sevenfold
He was awesome in Infectious Grooves! His dad was a great drummer too.
I think whoever formed Hanson saw this group and decided to use a similar group with a more innocent sound.
Bad4Good were bad ass!
I had this album when I was in high school. I had a friend who had it too. At one point, we heard McRocklin was replaced by Dave Nassie. We were both kind of shocked because they seemed to be getting along well with McRocklin. Nassie's pretty good, though.
This was Vai's favorite Gem Thomas played right here.
Thanks for uploading this compiled material. I never did see anything on these guys back in the day, but love the cd!
It's very cute and nice to see how he copies Eddie Vedder's movements (and something of the voice) (we are at the start of the Ten era) in a purely hard rock ballad context. This mix is interesting, it's a shame they didn't last long!
1 of my fav. song & rock band ever ❤❤❤
They were great back in the day, man I miss bad 4 good. I hope one day they get back together & start rocking again
Fuck yea, these dudes shredded! No surprise Brooks is one of the biggest drummers today!🤘🏼🍻
great voice
omg brooks was taller than the others
Listen to these lyrics.. It's not about a 'heartbreak'... It's deeper than that.
Danny was on Terminator 2 and a show called Salute Your Shorts, also.
Charlotte Willis and some little TV show people may heard of.. Different Strokes.. 🤷♂️
my gosh! So good. These guys are great.Absolutely should have been huge!
Danny Cooksey!
Great band, awesome songs
Ugh I had the biggest crush on DC. Must have been the red hair. ❤️
Nice karaoke from Cooksey :p bad idea to choose a song with a fade on ending, it leads to a 6:33 huge sound difference when it gets back to real TV drumset (6:36 the soundguy did what he could live). And so much differences between audio and video (on guitar solo parts, guitarists can see the playback easily. like 6:10. And even the amp is off without any red light on power switch). Vaï made a playback boys band, still a lot of us dont get it.
recently remembered salute your shorts was a thing, so i downloaded it. after watching the first episode i decided to start googling around about the show/actors. i had NO IDEA budnik was in a band.
Yeah, they didn't get a lot of press outside of Metal Edge and some of the TV appearances like this. Amazing band though!
I guess that Interview took place before T2 came out. Because he only mentioned about Danny's role in Diffrent Strokes. But not as John Connors best friend.
It was actually over a year after T2 and slightly after Salute Your Shorts, but they probably didn't want to focus too much on his acting career.
@@JarodFrank yeah I totally forgot about the song Termanate which was a big giveaway that this was shortly after T2. Also maybe under contract they could mention Diffrent Strokes but not allowed to promote T2 along with the CD.
I have never seen live footage of this band. Surely there's more. I'd love to see Nineteen, Bangin.., and esp. Mother of Love live. Would love to hear their vocals live on that one.
Jamie Shaffer The band has some audio. Been trying to get them to send it to me so I can get it off tape before it gets destroyed for years, but they've all got lives. Haha
Refugee is one of my favorite albums, not a bad song on it. And I've never even heard audio of anything live. Just what was on this video. They still have fans damn it...lol
@offer to pay them they will dig them out
@@MrNickelodeon90 , I'd gladly pay them for some live audio. But I certainly can't afford to pay for production or anything.
Wish there was a way to hear Lucy's Milk demos
Oh wow. This guy can sing! Where are they now?
All are still active doing different things.
Thomas was so unhappy then, I wish he would have smashed the guitar after that set!!!! HAHAHA! That would have been funny as hell.
Holy shit it’s Bobby budnick..
Budnick from salute your shorts
These kids were something else
That's the cut up Vai guitar and what appears to be a JCM 900 Dual Reverb amp
This is awesome!!
Thank you!!! This is glorious.
Круто пацаны делают супер
Nice Vid , got the album , Thx for share )
The very reason they ever had a chance was the reason they couldn't go any further. Diff'rent strokes. I believe that if their debut album was just 2 years prior they would have made a better impact and would of sold a lot more than they did. Grunge and gangsta rap were destroying everything on the charts at this time.
...And, "Salute Your Shorts" as well!
They were a really really good band bog fan here
Bobby "muthafuckin" Budnick!
So far I've never seen a live performance of Bad 4 Good. If you listen to the guitar solo at half speed, you'll hear dubs and realize he's not playing half of the actual notes. That's right: playback. Most likely that part was played by Thomas, even though "veteran guitar player Steven Vai" 9:39 has written and directed all of the music.

1:23 - anyone else “get their money” at 18??
Danny always reminds me of the comedian Mitch Hetburgh(spelling)
I think the real reason they never made it big was because they came out right around the same time as Nirvana and all that tuneless Grunge garbage that was stinking up the airwaves during 91-92. I think had they come out 5-6 years earlier they would have been huge.
Yeah, for sure. Even 2 years earlier they might have had a chance.
Hairy metal shit.
Alternative Grunge killed Rock n' Roll!
Truth.
I did enjoy the grunge though. Never though we had to cancel metal to have grunge around, but once it became fashionable... It was done for metal.
@@charlottewillis5738 Thank god!!
danny sounded great..wished they would had recorded another bad 4 good album..lucys milk not so much
sounds like candlebox
Isn’t that Budnick from salute your shorts? Lol
Sure is!
Bobby budnick can rock!
Wow 😳
Danny Cooksey looks like he could have been Axls son
Is that one of the Hanson brothers on drums?
you are an absolute saint for posting this. I literally just watched this in total awe. wow I love them so much!! check out my band GNARVANA we are highly influenced by them. thanks!!!
Danny could have been the next Axel back then
I have a thing for red headed men. Danny and Axl are my top two. 😍😏
ว๊าวๆๆ ไอ เลิฟ แบด โฟว์ กู๊ด
If the music sucks, no matter how old you are.
Pearl Jam vibes with some shred
Jesus Danny looks a lot like Jason Newsted when he had long hair.
One album and it rocked too bad it ended there.
olha onde o baterista do a7x esta rsrs
massa mas uma pena nao ter durado mais tempo
All that made me unconfortable 😗
I loved this band when they hit the scene back in like ‘91 or 92. It’s a shame Joe Satriani ended the guitarist’s career after he diss’d Joe on stage on night!
Whoever did sound for them on that show should have been fired. Vocals way too loud and you can barely hear the guitar.
something just occurred to me
i mean.. yes he's obviously the kid from Terminator
but to anyone old enough to remember , he's also Sam from Different Strokes isn't he... unless i'm wrong, but i think he is
Absolutely! Danny's got MANY iconic roles on his IMDB. Probably the next biggest after those would be Budnick on Salute Your Shorts and Montana Max on Tiny Tunes.
@@JarodFrank i haven't heard of those, i just remember him as a kid and in terminator, haven't seen much else from him
Sadly they came out at the end of hair metal

These TV people are so cringy
