All I can think is "Why is this random guy on UA-cam following better fabrication and machine practices than half of the places I've worked?" You're a good example for the home shop mechanics out there, keep up the good work. And I love seeing all the builds that I would have totally done myself if I had any time or money.
Former Semi tractor(lorry) mechanic here and I say these would be perfect for a person to work on the semi engines. I had to crawl up on a tire to add oil, water and anti-freeze. Even when doing a thermostat or head and injector work. These would have been a blessing.

18650 battery cells would make it light enough for a backpack. Especially if they were distributed down the pack straps as somewhat of a counter-balance.
If anything he could try to make it into a vest of some sort and get it to wrap around the body, keeping him balanced

Look around you. What do you want to make? Can you use these things to? See how far you can get. Are there things you still need to do for your thing to happen? Find more accessible alternatives.
If you google Maker Spaces near you, or something similar, they’ll have various tools for you to use as well as other people with knowledge and experience who’ll probably be more than happy to help.
