Whilst the individual additions of steering wheel, alloy wheels and gold plated mascot may not be to everyones taste they can easily be returned to standard. I quite like them.
What a beautiful looking car in a lovely colour scheme. As you say, a good year too having the benefit of better breathing heads, fuel injection, mineral oil brakes and suspension but avoiding the unnecessary active ride and so on complexities of the later models. Beautiful! I have two Corniche (1981 & 1992) and a 1968 Fixed-Head Coupe. You are correct, the coupe is a "barge" compared to my 1981/1992! Rolls Royce continued to dramatically improve their cars in quietness, tightness, etc. There was a dramatic improvement between my 1981 and 1992!
