For those who don't know something about the Goat of this generation J.Cole, he produced this track for Kendrick and had the intention of signing but he had no label back then.
So, when Cole was working on Detox for Dr. Dre, he told Dr. Dre that he needed to meet this dude from Compton and that he needed to sign him..
Cole brought Kendrick to the studio to Dr.Dre and the rest was history.
So, before disrespecting Cole for backing out - they had a phone call which Kendrick stated that this could get ugly and wanted him to step out of this beef.
Knowing the relationship between them and the history was bigger than this, infact they might just might have a Collab album coming.
*If you notice in the beginning on **0:16** he mentions that Lesane Parish Crooks came to him when he was a sleep, If you research his name you would figure out that Lesane Parish Crooks is Tupac Amaru Shakur and in that dream he told him Because you the ... and woke up from his dream, there's a lot of speculation on what Kendrick meant, but as we all know Kendrick he probably told him that Because you the saviour of Rap or someone who will be influentinal in the world we live in.*
*Afeni Shakur gave him that name, knowing back then that he will probably be targeted if his name is related to Afeni because she was in the Black Panther Party, so they named Lesane Parish Crooks so Tupac can avoid being targeted by the FBI and three days later she changed his name to the name we know Tupac Amaru Shakur*
P.S. This song made Kendrick blow up.

But if you truly like Kendrick, which I'm sure you are, I suggest you give Tpab another listen, with the lyrics in hand of possible. It blew my mind. I think you should give it a shot. Peace brother
