You know it's this being attracted to your own familiar looks / culture (like with like), but I saw that Italian / French / Spanish men have more success in picking up girls than average (British) Joe. Ofc, if you are tall and black you get an extra bonus for your dating / sx life, owing to the stereotype (which in the same way may be hurtful to them or to others). Me as a Polish dude in UK? I had not much luck with British, but wasn't in the game much. I'm married to the beautiful Polish girl now and I can't complain. Like with like seem to be working, but in current climate where British guys would need to bother with just too high expectations and this sort of mentality, it's probably worth giving a shot to more conservative women from Eastern Europe.

Limiting yourself to “like with like” is exactly that, limiting yourself. Expanding your knowledge on other cultures and even having children with mixed cultures, seems more attractive. A more well rounded child with expansive knowledge on more than just one culture. Combats ignorance, as most people who stick to their own are pretty ignorant about other cultures. My husband is Polish, lol.
Maybe I just like to learn and be aware of more than just my own culture in a way that impacts my daily life. Change is beautiful. But I guess we need people who enjoy “like with like” too

I don't find average brit to be attractive (I'm saying average and not just comparing the most beautiful girls) while I find average Slav girls to be, same maybe with east asian girls (Korea, Japan, China). Though I have noticed that long term relationships of mixed cultures aren't working if both partners aren't working actively together to make it work and if they don't compromise or accept different upbringings. Moreover I don't think mixed race kids are actually in any way superior. Upbringing in nurturing and loving environment does. If single race or mixed race / culture couple can provide that, the child will be amazing too, or at least has higher chances for it. And yes, maybe it's a safe bet to go with a person from the same culture, but is that wrong? You need to find what interests you. If that person that fought your interest is from the same country then go for it. If it isn't, it's still worth giving it a go... Why not? Maybe you will meet the live of your life somewhere in Chile.

Coming from a Slavic background I can confirm that my Ukrainian and Russian family take pride in their appearance, my mother wouldn't always wear makeup but she would at minimum do her hair properly before leaving the house.
I've been to the UK, I feel like the style there is super casual and it reminded me a lot of Seattle, weather is gray and peoples wardrobe was a bit frumpy and casual.
Where as Traveling through Moscow you can tell women are dressed up to the nines, though it reminded me of the superficial vibe of LA where the focus on appearance and what u do are the only things that matter.
Life is all about balance, take pride in how u present yourself but develop your skillset, passions and be kind to others. ✌

I’m a woman from Scandinavia, I lived in Birmingham UK for four years in my 20s and I 100% agree with this gentleman. I’m a professional photographer and while I was i UK it was really hard for me to find just average beautiful women to work with. When I found some they Always originated from other countries in Europe.
But I have to add that I miss England. The people there were extremely polite and nice.
I think the only beautiful British woman was Princess Diana. The wife of prince William is another beauty. The fact is there is beauty everywhere so enjoy it.

I went to the Czech Republic back in 1999 to meet up with some of my family that hadn’t moved to America, and I was very impressed at how beautiful the Czech women were-elegantly dressed, wearing heels, looking like a million bucks. If you don’t have Slavic relatives, you just don’t understand the standards for beauty. When I was little and we were going to visit my grandma, we’d all have to go on a diet, because the first words out of her mouth would be, “You look fat.” Discipline and taking care of yourself is paramount. My Slovak grandmother had 5 children and was always a perfect size 6. She was a great cook and baker, and never ate any of the amazing cookies, nut rolls, strudels, etc. that she made. And she was beautiful even in her casket at age 84, because she took care of herself. The West could take a few lessons from the Eastern block in these matters.
My Hungarian grandmother even at age 96, still is obsessed with weight. So much her daughter turned into a hippy, and I'm nervous ab seeing her, bc I'm overweight. But ik she is right. You don't get to 96 by abusing yourself.

Actually the people who get the most plastic surgery (by number not proportion), and what most plastic surgery clinics cater to in Korea (I’m guessing you’ve never been) are Chinese tourists who come for it. Over 100,000 annually (except till COVID) people come to get stuff done. Korean plastic surgery places focus on the international market, because one Korean person can only get so many procedures and their population isn’t growing. Usually they cater to Koreans with lasers/skincare/etc (things you need to CONSTANTLY spend, unlike a surgery which is usually a one time thing or a once every ten years thing)
I was born in Moscow, fun fact. So I have ties there, my dad lived there up until February of this year. So I’ve visited numerous times as an adult, and I tell people all the time the most beautiful women I have seen by far has been in Russia. A huge part of it is wealth though. In Britain, there's A LOT of overweight women. A LOT. Among young women from Russia and Eastern Europe.... There aren't nearly so many. Used to work a lot of shitty jobs alongside immigrants from that part of the world. Never met a fat young chick from Eastern Europe or Russia. Point of fact, haven't met anyone male of female that is even slightly overweight that was under 30. The men and women in their teens and 20's from that part of the world are almost uniformly slim and fit. To find a fat woman from out there, you're pretty much only going to be looking at middle aged mothers or older and most of them still aren't fat.
It's a simple reality of the Western world. There's a lot of women around who would be hot.... if they lost some fucking weight. We are too wealthy for our own good at this point.

Absolutely agree. There is an obesity problem in this country and I'll explain why. I gained a looooot of weight when I became disabled, the doctors gave me medication which primary side effects is massive weight gain. I gained a lot and being in a chair im unable to go run around at a gym in the same way. I have been asking for years for help to lose weight responsibly and with help as I cant cook my own meals either. There are barely any preventative measures in this country or help when it happens. You get help only when you reach the danger category. Much like for example when I needed railings for my stairs as I can walk a small amount, my council literally told me that I won't be helped quickly unless I've had a fall already. That is so fucking shocking to me . Prevention should always be priority.

But then I realised that growing up, I was called ugly all the time growing up by British women (I'm bengali) to the point where I genuinely thought I was ugly and unlovable. It's true. Any time you leave the UK you realise how much more attractive women are in the rest of the world, and any time any other person does the same they return saying the same thing. There are some cultural differences here too. In a lot of eastern European and Russian speaking countries, you cannot leave the house without putting on nice clothes and some makeup. In America, as well as UK I see a lot of people walking the streets in sweats and stained t-shirts. Even going down the street to the grocery store requires a little preparation. Plus, there are a lot of skinny women in those countries. Skinny isn't necessarily pretty, but it is eye catching.
My taste in women from a pure looks perspective is very varied, and to me personality does matter. Not in that cliche I only look for personality, I mean in the sense that it does not matter to me if a woman has one of those looks that I find attractive. If she starts talking and has a mentality that does not fit mine, all those first look, slightly heart pounding feelings you get when someone just does it for you vaporize right away.
And I think most people have experienced at one point in their life where they didn't stand out just by looking at them, but then you get to know them and suddenly their the most beautiful person you have ever met.

I was born in Serbia and moved to Canada at a very young age, visit Serbia every so often for family and I can say women in Serbia on average are more beautiful.
Multiple factors apply too, not just genetic. Like diet, hard to find a overweight woman there.

As a Ukrainian, i agree with him. It's a popular joke subject among our people. When men go to work in western Europe, for instance, especially Czech or Germany, they are always surprised how unattractive women are out there. But I think what makes the biggest difference is how differently women from East and West present themselves. We, Ukrainian woman, always take care of our appearance, we spend the most money on expensive clothes and beauty products to look our best, i personally do my makeup even when i go to the nearest store to buy bread in order to not embarrass myself before others. While western women often walk around in their sweaty pajamas with a greasy bun on their head and not give a flying fuck about how they look to people, which is their freedom, but again, don't cry about men saying Eastern women are better 😕

I mean it’s honestly true. I grew up in the USA but I live in a huge slavic community. I went to a slavic school, churches, and worked in eastern eurpean companies- I honestly rarely even interact with non-slavic people. And I have to say, most of our women are either naturally pretty or know how to take care of themselves.
But I also cannot deny that in the past few years, it feels like everyone has been having glow ups. I’ve noticed the style here in America start to shift and young people are actually beginning to really care about fashion and their looks, and it made a huge difference.

Because if so- For me their reply of "butthurt?" came off as intrusive and unnecessary since they're technically doing the same thing as 'Oh Canada' if they made their comment out of jealousy, and that is to provoke someone to start a fight.

Women in the western 1st world have been indoctrinated with the belief that they are perfect as they are. This leads to massive attitude and personality issues. You are never perfect as you are and there is always room for improvement. For example in my case I am shorter than the average guy, there is nothing I can do about that. But, I don’t have to be short and morbidly obese and then still go around demanding that people accept me exactly as I am. You can always do little things to improve yourself and make you feel better about yourself. When you feel good about yourself, people will be attracted to you naturally. Yes, of course there will be someone more beautiful than you, there always will be but, you don’t need to make yourself less attractive than you are.
When will people understand that a lack of attraction doesn't equal lack of respect?

I'm from Norfolk in England, probably one of the least diverse counties in England and even I notice this a lot. Every now and again i will spot a beautiful woman and overhear them speaking a Eastern European language. I dont notice obesity as much where I am, at least in people in my generation but I must say that people from abroad or even those with foreign descent seem very beautiful in comparison and often are nicer, less entitled people.
