- Presenting the Best Salted Caramel Sauce Recipe to you. Needs only 4 ingredients, takes about 10 minutes of you time, doesn’t need a candy thermometer or whatsoever, just keep an eye to add the ingredients at the right time. Its a perfect topping for cakes, cupcakes, ice cream, sweet treats, breads, you name it, and this is the perfect accompaniment, when did salt and sweet together go wrong ever!

You can substitute the cream with just milk and add some cornstarch later on, the butter with some cooking oil, and add some salt on your own. Was about to say salt to taste but I remembered this stuff's hotter than the surface of the sun, so do remember to pour in your milk first and dissolve the caramel in the milk. It takes longer, but when you're too broke to afford butter or cream, this is the way I'd do it.

I just made it and it taste so good. There are tiny bubbles on it maybe because of stirring the sugar but sweetness + 1/2 tsp of salt is perfection👌

It's nt a crrt recipe......u can't stir sugar continuously while making caramel.....your sugar will crystallize

Dis is de best as i follow through it really works!! 🤭🌼 just have to control de heat n keep it low heat n adjust if de sugar take too long to melt. I also use milk instead of cream. N after pour one glass of milk i keep stirring till de right texture. Really worth it 😍🌼

For all of u saying that this is not the correct way to make caramel i have to say that i literally just got done making this and had zero problems with crystallization. It is very delicious and a nice smooth consistency. It really works.

Update: so I tried it and did everything exactly like receipe. I used brown sugar. Dont do that unless u want ur caramel really dark but it tastes really good. I wud recommend using a really long spoon or mittens on for the heat. Truly a great receipe. Thank u. Will be trying it again with white sugar. One question tho. How long does it last?

I tried this way years ago and the sugar wouldn't melt, just turned hard.
But i would like to try again. Two questions: can i leave out the butter and replace it with more cream?

No , it won't..It gets crystalized when you add water and stir😊😊

Nope, idk why but every time I use the water method it always crystallizes but when I did it w no water it works every time! 🤔🤗
actually u can see in the video that it did clump up and crystalize initially....but it melted back so it was alright....if u dont stir ull be able to save time instead of waiting for it melt again after crystalizing....hope this was clear enough :)

Here's some tips:
1. Keep stiring ur sugar with medium heat fire
2. If its start to melt // start to turn into brown color, reduce the heat from medium to small
3. Keep stiring and once u put the butter etc, keep the fire low
