@its_saber1525 I too was worried about them re-using the game world, since exploration is my favorite thing about open-world games. I thought I would quickly get bored doing another game in the same map I explored in BOTW. But they changed things up just enough to keep it interesring IMO. The sky islands, depths, and the terrain changes to the overworld caused by the upheaval make the world feel fresh even though most of the land assets are re-used.

TotK needs an online function where you can upload and download builds, that’d be sick!
Or a multiplayer PvP mode where each player gets a set of materials and a minute to prepare, then they both fight.

Seriously. Every time I think I've created an elaborate machine in this game, I go on UA-cam and see shit like this that puts mine to shame.
there should add a little area in a dlc that let's us customize the landscape so we can have rollercoasters and launchers and shit like that :"D

That’s me who found it and that’s my clip, I’ve been doing it for a week and I might be like a few of the first people to discover it lol
But you don’t have to deploy your paraglider after a rocket jump to land on it like I did, you can just tap R once and hold forward and you will dive onto it but if you’re wearing any gliding gear you will over shoot it.
Plus I’ve been incorporating shield flips into the movement too 💚💚

@@summerlovesyou7586 Been using this too, but one thing I noticed is that bow range plays a factor whether you can ascend or not. my inventory was full of high range bows or triple shot, so I wasnt able to ascend by shooting directly above, so resorted to ultrahand to put them directly above in order to actually ascend .-.
I haven't seen anyone use them that way, but you can attach zonai cooking pots to one another to make what is essentially a flexible pipe.
Been trying to figure out how to make guardian legs out of it lol

My crazy dream is to create a flying dragon that chases down and breathes fire at enemies using fans, wings, flame emitters and construct heads. I have no idea if I can get it to work but I’m still trying to figure it out.

You just mount the 2nd and third sets of wheels so that their axels are on the rims of the inside tires
Edit: also put a stabilizer on your control stick, otherwise you'll die horribly

Totk combines super amazing game mechanics with the players intelligence. More than finishing the game, i guess most players are aiming to craft something that they can call their own unique creation like what Victor Frankenstein did in the books.
Nintendo basically took one of the biggest and best games of all time and made a sequel that was somehow even bigger and better. And then they added a physics-based creation suite on top of that so that when you've done everything else in the game you can continue entertaining yourself indefinitely by building and experimenting with custom machines just to see what happens. What a goddamn masterpiece.

14:38 I found it by accident while looking for the treasure. There wasn’t treasure, just truffles which in hindsight is probably better than what tulin was talking about
exploring the depths isnt scary, only scary things are
. landing in a large area of gloom
. seeing a boss hp bar
. running out of brightbloom seeds
Autobuild with a double/triple blast barrel is actually a big brain replacement for remote bombs pre-Riju/Yunobo. Zonaite is plentiful enough that it straight up should be in everyone's fav lists.

TotK is so amazing, I only have one complaint about it.
I hate the 4 new abilities, it’s cool to have friends in combat but I’ve died so many times trying to get an ability from one of the companions mid battle and end up chasing them around just to click A by them and dying in the process, not to mention so many accidental triggers because they tied it to the most used button, they just need to make it so you hold a button down and then press ABYX for each ability or something else. I miss the old abilities when I could trigger them myself….
Or you could, and hear me out here, not use the abilities and get good
They aren't supposed to be helpful in combat aside from MAYBE Sidon's so idk why youd use them anyway

5:25 the basket hover vehicle is really nice. Saving this as an auto build as soon as I find a basket.
Lets see how long it takes for the fact that wooden constructions and flamethrowers don't work well together to become common knowledge
i hardly use wood. i make my vehicles with the stone slabs. one of my favorites are those pipes i found in a certain village inn. better than the wooden beams but i havent found anymore since then. would be super useful to replace the wooden beam in auto builds
The 2 axis gimbal was super clever. I never realized that the stabilizer worked like that. I always assumed that the stabilizer stabilized the entire construct It was attached to.
the stabilizer stabilizes everything *on top* of it. anything attached below it acts as normal

4:15 I feel like ascend is so easily forgotten, but it’s usefulness continues to impress me each day. Shooting hover stone arrows, then ascending through them is so clever.
Yeah I keep forgetting about ascend too. So many times I've spent like ten minutes thinking of a machine to build or how much climbing stamina I need to get to a high/far location, and all of a sudden I'll be like "holy shit I can just ascend there".

Now that I haveax battery and zonaite armor, I use the hover bike model T. Using 4 fans and a steering stick. I also stuck a giant glow seed on the fromt for the depths.
