Aged 81, got Covid, but determined not to give up my exercises. This was hard but as Jules advises I modified it to what I could do, and feel SO much better for doing it. Thanks, Jules.
Jules, I have to be honest. It's 600 PM ans I chose this video because it was short, a dance video and your intro promised to fire up my endorphins But I forgot that it had squats, jogging,high knees, etc. And you kept your word! It fired up my endorphins!! Loved it!

Wasn’t sure what workout to do today. Well this workout was perfectly there ready for me when I logged into UA-cam on my tv. Some moves challenged my coordination, another great workout thank you. Liked the descriptions of what’s coming next too.

Hey Jules! I like this one...good beat, solid cardio bursts. Now, what we need are a couple more workouts that make our brains work, with varied arm movements that aren't entirely predictable. The old brain goes on auto-pilot for most of these arm patterns, so we need some "shake 'em up" new patterns that aren't the same old up, down, up down, back and forth, back and forth. We need "arms going one way, feet going the other way" challenges! Keep us old folks sharp---and cardio-fit!
Good morning Jules! Here is my summary of this week, tomorrow I won't have time to write because I'm super busy. I have done every single cardio workout and immediately after the strength. It has been Wonderful, I feel my whole body finally is coming back as well as my "lost" muscles!! I have liked all the workouts, my favorite was the Tuesday Kick boxing workout. I love the fact that you have been increasing little by little the strength exercises every day and today the punching abs in the floor was great! Your music is always good. What I love the most is the "I" need to be very organized always, and your monthly schedule is so great because I know exactly was is coming next day. It is great. Also the "variety" of your workouts is fabulous , you move everyday different muscles. In summary, you are phenomenal, love your daily quotes because it helps me to keep up with a positive attitude which today a day is so necessary . Any ways, I won't write so much always , but just so you know, I'm addicted to your exercises and I'll follow you for ever, you help me to change my life again. Thank you!

71 yo diabetes and artificial knees and first time using and I made thru the whole this. Not coordinated but with 3 lbs weights. Also used total video x 2 days now. Near a shower.

Will do this tomorrow. Had a real slump last week. Did absolutely nothing all week and I mean nothing. No exercise no housework. Just couldnt be bothered. Need to get back at it.

Hi Jules… I was so tired today, but I have been noticing how Easy it is now to straighten up at the knees. So, I worked out despite being dreadfully tired and down in the dumps. My reward?!? I can now do repeaters. After about five months of working out with you I can finally do repeaters. That may not seem like a big deal to some, but for me it’s a milestone, especially given how hard a day I had. And I love repeaters now, along with those “dreadful” squats. Although I’ve always liked squats (I guess I’m weird!), except for the one time when I spread my feet out too far and lost my balance and went backward into the chest-of-drawers! 😄 Thank you Jules, for all you do to help us all of a certain age get into better shape. I’ll be seventy-five in April. I can hardly believe it. Seventy-five typed out looks so old, but I don’t feel old. Yay! 🌺 A flower for you…
Oh, my gosh. I was smiling reading your comment but when I got to your words saying, "I'll be seventy-five in April", my smile couldn't get any bigger! I love, love, love how you are here and working out with me and getting stronger every day. This is why I started this whole journey of UA-cam. I truly wanted to help seniors (and anyone really), but seniors in particular since too many people stop exercising as they get older. You are proof that strength can continue to improve if you take the time to exercise. I am absolutely thrilled for you, Louise. Almost 75, and STRONG. Kudos to you for taking care of yourself and for working out because you know it's good for you (and makes you feel so good after). As for the repeaters, those are absolutely tough so congrats for now being able to do them!
New fun with Jules! My current faves are doing the 20 min standing ABs, then I do the Absolute Beginner Tabata workout finishing off with a few miles on my stationary bike. I also have been known to put on the ABBA dance video just for the fun and energy boost I get from the music. Thank you, so, so much.

I definitely want people to stick around for the stretching. I sometimes keep the stretching shorter (like today) since I feel that people won't stick around if it's too long. Started out the week with a big bang with this workout. The moves were doable and the pace was challenging : most I kept in time, a few a bit slower. I enjoy the prompts, but your moves, Jules, are clearly defined. No sloppiness with you leading, so thank you for a well developed routine. Now some ABBA!... (in a bit!)...Anastasia

I loved this workout but I have noticed after watching several of your videos, I'm V-step challenged! 😆 I can't do that part even if my life depended on it so I just do my own thing. At the senior center where I also exercise we have the part where we do this box step and I make my own steps because this mama don't know what she's doing!

Hey Jules! I like this one...good beat, solid cardio bursts. Now, what we need are a couple more workouts that make our brains work, with varied arm movements that aren't entirely predictable. The old brain goes on auto-pilot for most of these arm patterns, so we need some "shake 'em up" new patterns that aren't the same old up, down, up down, back and forth, back and forth. We need "arms going one way, feet going the other way" challenges! Keep us old folks sharp---and cardio-fit!

Good morning Jules! Here is my summary of this week, tomorrow I won't have time to write because I'm super busy. I have done every single cardio workout and immediately after the strength. It has been Wonderful, I feel my whole body finally is coming back as well as my "lost" muscles!! I have liked all the workouts, my favorite was the Tuesday Kick boxing workout. I love the fact that you have been increasing little by little the strength exercises every day and today the punching abs in the floor was great! Your music is always good. What I love the most is the "I" need to be very organized always, and your monthly schedule is so great because I know exactly was is coming next day. It is great. Also the "variety" of your workouts is fabulous , you move everyday different muscles. In summary, you are phenomenal, love your daily quotes because it helps me to keep up with a positive attitude which today a day is so necessary . Any ways, I won't write so much always , but just so you know, I'm addicted to your exercises and I'll follow you for ever, you help me to change my life again. Thank you!

71 yo diabetes and artificial knees and first time using and I made thru the whole this. Not coordinated but with 3 lbs weights. Also used total video x 2 days now. Near a shower.

Hi Jules… I was so tired today, but I have been noticing how Easy it is now to straighten up at the knees. So, I worked out despite being dreadfully tired and down in the dumps. My reward?!? I can now do repeaters. After about five months of working out with you I can finally do repeaters. That may not seem like a big deal to some, but for me it’s a milestone, especially given how hard a day I had. And I love repeaters now, along with those “dreadful” squats. Although I’ve always liked squats (I guess I’m weird!), except for the one time when I spread my feet out too far and lost my balance and went backward into the chest-of-drawers! 😄 Thank you Jules, for all you do to help us all of a certain age get into better shape. I’ll be seventy-five in April. I can hardly believe it. Seventy-five typed out looks so old, but I don’t feel old. Yay! 🌺 A flower for you…
Oh, my gosh. I was smiling reading your comment but when I got to your words saying, "I'll be seventy-five in April", my smile couldn't get any bigger! I love, love, love how you are here and working out with me and getting stronger every day. This is why I started this whole journey of UA-cam. I truly wanted to help seniors (and anyone really), but seniors in particular since too many people stop exercising as they get older. You are proof that strength can continue to improve if you take the time to exercise. I am absolutely thrilled for you, Louise. Almost 75, and STRONG. Kudos to you for taking care of yourself and for working out because you know it's good for you (and makes you feel so good after). As for the repeaters, those are absolutely tough so congrats for now being able to do them!

New fun with Jules! My current faves are doing the 20 min standing ABs, then I do the Absolute Beginner Tabata workout finishing off with a few miles on my stationary bike. I also have been known to put on the ABBA dance video just for the fun and energy boost I get from the music. Thank you, so, so much.

I can't do that part even if my life depended on it so I just do my own thing. At the senior center where I also exercise we have the part where we do this box step and I make my own steps because this mama don't know what she's doing!
